I used this dry cleaner for several years until... The last time I was there they ruined a faux fur white jacket with silver detail I brought in. I might be more forgiving if they'd provided me with a warning that when they dry cleaned my jacket the silver part that wasn't part of the fur would be completely gone, so imagine my surprise when I show up and all of a sudden it's not white and silver anymore, but just white. It wasn't a cheap jacket and it's not something I can replace. It wasn't just that though...you'd think they would happily give me a discounted rate, considering they'd literally ruined my jacket, but the guy at the counter had the audacity to stare at me in the eye and try to get me to pay full price. It was a terrible customer service experience and enough to warrant me never going back. He was very rude and quite frankly...dry cleaning is expensive enough, I don't need some awkward customer service experience and demanding I pay full price. Most decent people would call and give me a warning that dry cleaning it might dissolve the silver. *Note that I have had this jacket dry cleaned many times and there was never a problem* I give them two thumbs down. read more

We will no longer be using them as our dry cleaners. This sucks since we didn't mind making a special trip for them and I thought we woild never have to try and find a decent cleaners :*( *I will post the best photos as possible to show what is described below. 1st disapointing experience: 1 Yellow Dress: Unknown stain down the front while hanging in my closet. I knew it was possibly ruined forever but decided to take it in and see what they said. They thought they could remove it and were going to let me know if not. 1 Mens Gray Dress Shirt: Normal dry clean. 4 days later: Boyfriend picked up items -Dropped off 1 Navy Lace Overlay Dress that had been worn to a wedding and needed a few spots cleaned on the underlay due to makeup. Result: Yellow Dress: Stains still on the dress (they didn't say anything during pickup or call and let me know they couldn't be removed). Men's Dress Shirt: Completely unwearable due to horrible iron creases all down the front, and stains on the pockets. 2nd experience: -Picking up navy lacy dress -Drop off cardigan that is dry clean only for normal cleaning -He brought the gray dress shirt back in and they offered to re clean it free of charge Results: -Navy dress has stains on the underlay silk. Due to the price and delicacy of the dress I was most upset about this item being damaged when it had been worn once and only needed a few spots taken care of. -Men's dress shirt: fine. Still had wrinkles and the stains but wasn't as bad as previously had been. Last pickup: 1 brown dry - Clean only cardigan: returned with discolored area on the back, bottom-right. Took one of my favorite dresses here to get dry cleaned. It has sequin appliqués on it- picked it up and went to wear it to an event, only to discover that it was ruined! The beads and sequins are falling off, the dress is stretched out- it's absolutely ruined. I went back in to show them the dress, and they are giving ME a hard time. They're questioning how much it's worth, and they kept the dress! Apparently the owner is going to call me. What?! This shouldn't even be a question. They ruined the dress, and need to refund me. I haven't even been refunded the $15 it cost to dry clean it!!! Not happy -update- Never received a call from the owner. I ended up having to call... They claim to have fixed it . (Which I know is not possible). I go back in and they refuse to refund me. I had to really put up a fight to even get the $15 they charged to destroy my dress. They claim that it shouldn't have been dry cleaned . Then why would you do it?! The tag doesn't say do not dry clean. Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!! If I could give more starts, I would. This place made me feel so much better. Some of my mother's clothes that I got recently from my father were molded and stained. She passed away and I really wanted to keep her clothes, so that I could wear them and remember her. I decided to take all of the molded clothes to Fire Mountain Cleaners. I was told from the owner that it might be hard to clean and take off every mold/stains on them, but that he will try. I explained about my situation, how these clothes are my mother's clothes and that she had passed away. He was very sympathetic and said he will try his best for me. A week later, I come back to pick them up and they were completely clean, like brand new clothes! He did explain to me that he couldn't get the stain off completely from one coat, but the stain was barely there anymore and it still looked clean and wearable to me, so I was happy with the results. He helped me carry all of my clothes and hanged them in my car. He was very caring and kind, I'm glad I chose to take my mother's clothes here. Definitely recommend :) read more

Marginal work quality and extremely expensive. I came here twice. First to get a new jacket pressed, which they did adequately, I guess, but there were a couple of pulls in it that my tailor took care of. I didn't though much of it since it was a looser weave fabric and assumed that's just the way it worked, but it isn't. That should not happen. I later gave him a bunch of newer dress shirts to launder and press. They pressed creases in the collars and the french cuffs! My god, my $150 custom made shirts with the most spectacular collar roll... and you've ruined it. I only hope a few more ironings and I can get the crease to go away, but these people obviously have no idea how to iron a dress shirt properly. The killer on this is that he charged me $45 for 6 shirts. I expected $10-15 for the bill, but I basically paid dry cleaning level fees to have my shirt collars and cuffs ruined. If they were carefully hand pressing, I'd give them that, but they were not. They even pressed a weird crease into one, then packed that shirt in the back of two shirts in one plastic wrapper, so I didn't see the weird crease until I got home and unwrapped them. Avoid this place. I will from now on. I have no idea why they have so many positive reviews, but I'd rather carry my own shirts to the car and have them done correctly at a reasonable price. read more

I needed a dress pressed by the next morning as we were leaving town the next day. He said it'd be ready that afternoon, in just 3 hours time. This excellent service upon dropping of my dress was topped when I picked it up. We had a wonderful chat as the kindly gentleman (I'm embarrassed I didn't get his name) walked me to my truck with the dress. My experience was fantastic, it made my day. I went here for the first time on Monday based on the reviews I read here. I came here with a dress shirt and pair of dress pants to be washed, dry cleaned and pressed. I was greeted by the owner I believe. He was personable and made a great price for me. He charged $3.25 to wash and press a long sleeve 100% cotton shirt. The pants are a wool\poly combo, which he charged $5.25 to dry clean and press. I picked my clothes up today and couldn't be any happier. They were on hangers with plastic covering them. The man not only walked out to my car, hung my clothes for me, but also opened my door for me so I could get in. He also very graciously thanked me. The zipper broke on my favorite bathrobe, and I wasn't able to find another robe that I liked as much as my old one. So I went to Fire Mountain Cleaners because they advertised clothing repair along with cleaning. Also, they got very good reviews on Yelp. I was greeted by Mr. Lee who was exceptionally kind, knowledgable, sweet, and wonderful. Brought in my boyfriends suit jacket to get cleaned that we didn't realize had set in stains for YEARS. The owner was very thorough tagging where the stains were on the item & the jacket came out looking brand new! We were also in a time crunch & the items were cleaned by the date we needed. I went here for the first time recently and the customer service was great! The man who helped me was so sweet and friendly! I brought a wool coat in for dry cleaning and they said it would take a few days which was fine with me. When I went to pick it up (a week and a half after it was ready) he found it right away and after I'd finished writing a check for payment (it is cash or check only) he carried my jacket out to my car and hung it in the backseat. The owner of this cleaners loves his business and loves his customers and it shows! I grew up in Oceanside and never really had a need to go to the dry cleaners, but always remembered it. Now that I need a good dry cleaners, I of course remembered Fire Mountain Cleaners and decided to give it a go. I mean a place that's been around for this long has to be doing something correct, right? RIGHT! My clothes I brought in had some good stains on them, I was so skeptical anybody could get those out. When I went to pick up my clothes, not only did he get the stains out, he did something I have never experienced, and never thought I would.
