Great service at a competitive rate. The laundry is done very well. Been going there weekly for a year now without a gripe to share

Excellent. I brought in a silk blouse and wool sweater/coat. Both were perfectly pressed and cleaned when I picked them up (and didn't have tags safety pinned or stapled to the clothing). They even got rid of the pilling on the wool coat! Dropped off Saturday evening and picked up Monday. $17 for the coat and 1 blouse. read more

New to the area & so glad I found this small business! They are so kind and I'm very happy with the service. Dependable & reliable. They made me feel like I had been going for years! So helpful & even helped me to my car as I had quite the load to carry. Great local small business. Be sure to bring cash, if you forget there is a convenient credit union ATM just a few hundred feet away. Highly recommend! read more

We will no longer be using them as our dry cleaners. This sucks since we didn't mind making a special trip for them and I thought we woild never have to try and find a decent cleaners :*( *I will post the best photos as possible to show what is described below. 1st disapointing experience: 1 Yellow Dress: Unknown stain down the front while hanging in my closet. I knew it was possibly ruined forever but decided to take it in and see what they said. They thought they could remove it and were going to let me know if not. 1 Mens Gray Dress Shirt: Normal dry clean. 4 days later: Boyfriend picked up items -Dropped off 1 Navy Lace Overlay Dress that had been worn to a wedding and needed a few spots cleaned on the underlay due to makeup. Result: Yellow Dress: Stains still on the dress (they didn't say anything during pickup or call and let me know they couldn't be removed). Men's Dress Shirt: Completely unwearable due to horrible iron creases all down the front, and stains on the pockets. 2nd experience: -Picking up navy lacy dress -Drop off cardigan that is dry clean only for normal cleaning -He brought the gray dress shirt back in and they offered to re clean it free of charge Results: -Navy dress has stains on the underlay silk. Due to the price and delicacy of the dress I was most upset about this item being damaged when it had been worn once and only needed a few spots taken care of. -Men's dress shirt: fine. Still had wrinkles and the stains but wasn't as bad as previously had been. Last pickup: 1 brown dry - Clean only cardigan: returned with discolored area on the back, bottom-right. Snag in the fabric on the middle back, and front collar pressed down around the button. Urrggghhh. Done. (Posted pictures of said items) read more

I used this dry cleaner for several years until... The last time I was there they ruined a faux fur white jacket with silver detail I brought in. I might be more forgiving if they'd provided me with a warning that when they dry cleaned my jacket the silver part that wasn't part of the fur would be completely gone, so imagine my surprise when I show up and all of a sudden it's not white and silver anymore, but just white. It wasn't a cheap jacket and it's not something I can replace. It wasn't just that though...you'd think they would happily give me a discounted rate, considering they'd literally ruined my jacket, but the guy at the counter had the audacity to stare at me in the eye and try to get me to pay full price. It was a terrible customer service experience and enough to warrant me never going back. He was very rude and quite frankly...dry cleaning is expensive enough, I don't need some awkward customer service experience and demanding I pay full price. Most decent people would call and give me a warning that dry cleaning it might dissolve the silver. *Note that I have had this jacket dry cleaned many times and there was never a problem* I give them two thumbs down. read more

Amazing place. The man who runs it is an angel! He will always do an excellent job 100% recommend! :)

An excellent dry cleaning service run by the most amazingly sweet man. He got out old sweat stains from a white dress shirt that other cleaners couldn't remove. Highly recommend! read more

Great cleaners! First rate customer support! The owner is highly friendly, helpful, and cheerful I tried them after becoming dissatisfied with my regular cleaners. I have to stop myself from going back to my ex-regular cleaners and thank them for being rude and insensitive - else I'd've never discovered Fire Mountain Cleaners (and they're next to a Broken Yolk and a Trader Joe's! Nice, right?? Yup, I thought so too read more

The did an incredible job hemming my Jean jacket and cleaning my suede jacket and the customer service was top notch! They are so sweet! Thank you! read more

Super friendly and very reasonable prices! Important note they're a cash only business, so come prepared.

This place is great! They always do a good, timely job on all my garments. I've not had an issue coming here ever. Top notch service by their whole team. You will always be kindly greeted and your needs will be addressed promptly. Best dry cleaner for miles. We come all the way from San Marcos because we trust them with our work suits and accessories. I think they are cash only but there are plenty of banks close by. You won't regret it, you can trust them with your favorites! read more

This place is amazing! I found them *THANKS TO YELP* Woo woo! Haha. The gentleman that runs the shop is so kind, polite and helpful. He cleaned my fiances suit so well and my Grey peacoat so well they looked brand new! Sewing job to add an eye to a blouse was great too. He even walked it out to the car when I finished checking out. Love this place. Will definitely be back! read more

Took one of my favorite dresses here to get dry cleaned. It has sequin appliqués on it- picked it up and went to wear it to an event, only to discover that it was ruined! The beads and sequins are falling off, the dress is stretched out- it's absolutely ruined. I went back in to show them the dress, and they are giving ME a hard time. They're questioning how much it's worth, and they kept the dress! Apparently the owner is going to call me. What?! This shouldn't even be a question. They ruined the dress, and need to refund me. I haven't even been refunded the $15 it cost to dry clean it!!! Not happy -update- Never received a call from the owner. I ended up having to call... They claim to have fixed it . (Which I know is not possible). I go back in and they refuse to refund me. I had to really put up a fight to even get the $15 they charged to destroy my dress. They claim that it shouldn't have been dry cleaned . Then why would you do it?! The tag doesn't say do not dry clean. Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!! I'm now out a dress - not even an apology. RUDE - OVER PRICED- SCREW THIS PLACE !!! read more

If I could give more starts, I would. This place made me feel so much better. Some of my mother's clothes that I got recently from my father were molded and stained. She passed away and I really wanted to keep her clothes, so that I could wear them and remember her. I decided to take all of the molded clothes to Fire Mountain Cleaners. I was told from the owner that it might be hard to clean and take off every mold/stains on them, but that he will try. I explained about my situation, how these clothes are my mother's clothes and that she had passed away. He was very sympathetic and said he will try his best for me. A week later, I come back to pick them up and they were completely clean, like brand new clothes! He did explain to me that he couldn't get the stain off completely from one coat, but the stain was barely there anymore and it still looked clean and wearable to me, so I was happy with the results. He helped me carry all of my clothes and hanged them in my car. He was very caring and kind, I'm glad I chose to take my mother's clothes here. Definitely recommend :) read more

My regular dry cleaner for dress shirts and more. Personalized service with a smile is always delivered and items brought to my car Is a nice bonus. They only take cash which gets annoying when racing home from work or to office. And some items seem to carry a premium to clean compared with other cleaners. Hours are great, they've never lost an item or damaged any. If a button gets cracked they happily fix it. read more

They were able to get out a set in wine stain (possibly there for months) on a light khaki colored linen blazer; these people are miracle workers! And they were so kind to my dog. read more

Fast and friendly service and excellent prices. Wonderful business. They have plenty of parking and convenient hours.

Marginal work quality and extremely expensive. I came here twice. First to get a new jacket pressed, which they did adequately, I guess, but there were a couple of pulls in it that my tailor took care of. I didn't though much of it since it was a looser weave fabric and assumed that's just the way it worked, but it isn't. That should not happen. I later gave him a bunch of newer dress shirts to launder and press. They pressed creases in the collars and the french cuffs! My god, my $150 custom made shirts with the most spectacular collar roll... and you've ruined it. I only hope a few more ironings and I can get the crease to go away, but these people obviously have no idea how to iron a dress shirt properly. The killer on this is that he charged me $45 for 6 shirts. I expected $10-15 for the bill, but I basically paid dry cleaning level fees to have my shirt collars and cuffs ruined. If they were carefully hand pressing, I'd give them that, but they were not. They even pressed a weird crease into one, then packed that shirt in the back of two shirts in one plastic wrapper, so I didn't see the weird crease until I got home and unwrapped them. Avoid this place. I will from now on. I have no idea why they have so many positive reviews, but I'd rather carry my own shirts to the car and have them done correctly at a reasonable price. read more

Fire Mountain Cleaners - Pressed this weird pattern in my shirt, then hid it behind other shirts in the same plastic wrapper. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Oceanside, California

I don't leave reviews often but my experience at Fire Mountain Cleaners was exceptional. The gentleman who helped me was kind, prompt and welcoming. I needed a dress pressed by the next morning as we were leaving town the next day. He said it'd be ready that afternoon, in just 3 hours time. This excellent service upon dropping of my dress was topped when I picked it up. We had a wonderful chat as the kindly gentleman (I'm embarrassed I didn't get his name) walked me to my truck with the dress. My experience was fantastic, it made my day. Not something I ever thought I'd say about taking something to the dry cleaners! read more

Mr. Lee is the nicest and sweetest man ever. He truly knows how to run a business, be successful, and still put the customers first! The prices are very reasonable as well. Yes, I am talking about a man who owns and runs a dry cleaning place. Who would of thought?!? If only, there were more owners/managers/employees like Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee will go out of his way to bring your clothes to the car. I still continued to use this place even after I moved out of the area. If I had anything to dry clean now I would go out of my way to use Mr. Lee's shop. read more

I didn't know who to turn to when seeking out my first experience at the cleaners and Mr. Lee, you made that first experience WONDERFUL. I trusted him with a bridesmaid dress that needed a good press (since I would never trust myself with that) and he went above and beyond by having the dress ready for me on my lunch break, walking it out to my car, and sending his wishes to the bride and groom. What else needs a press around my house? Who's getting married next so I can go back? Thank you Yelp!! read more

Just like what others have posted below, this place does great work, with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I'll be the first to admit, it's a little awkward having my clothes walked out to my car (I'm more of a "I'll do it myself" type of person) but I do recognize it as well above and beyond the requisite service of all other places. Mr. lee is a very hard working and energetic man that will go to the reach of his limits to assure you great service. I'll ONLY be using his shop for my cleaning service from now on for as long as I live in the area. read more

WOW! Exceptional customer service and expert dry cleaning! I have taken a pleated ivory linen skirt here twice now and each time stains disappeared and it was pressed perfectly. LOVE that my clothes are put in my car for me. The only con is he doesn't accept cc but I don't mind making a stop at the ATM as this place is worth it and I am forever a loyal customer. A+++ read more

All I can say is wow. Thank you Yelpers for directing me to Mr Lee. I needed my husband's jacket cleaned in one day, as he came home from India yesterday and is going to Korea tomorrow on business. My usual dry cleaner could not accomodate. So today I visited Mr Lee. I concur, Yelpers. Mr Lee not only cleaned the jacket in a few hours, but he gave me the same service to my car that you all have been raving about. He is a lovely man, and he has won my weekly business, even though his establishment is quite out of my way. No matter. I value great service, and this gentleman deserves your business. Well done, Yelpers. read more

I wear suits everyday and have been going here for a while. Last time I was there they charged $19.50 for dry cleaning one suit. A little too pricey for me to keep going back. They do a good job but I can get the same thing fine for half the price almost anywhere else. read more

The owner of this cleaners loves his business and loves his customers and it shows! I grew up in Oceanside and never really had a need to go to the dry cleaners, but always remembered it. Now that I need a good dry cleaners, I of course remembered Fire Mountain Cleaners and decided to give it a go. I mean a place that's been around for this long has to be doing something correct, right? RIGHT! My clothes I brought in had some good stains on them, I was so skeptical anybody could get those out. When I went to pick up my clothes, not only did he get the stains out, he did something I have never experienced, and never thought I would. This kind man walked my clothes out to my car, hung them up, and opened my door for me as well. Even if my clothes weren't perfect, that kindness is what won my business. Fire Mountain Cleaners, I will be coming back and I highly recommend that everyone brings their business to you! read more

CASH (or check) ONLY! Yelp has failed me again as none of the reviews for this place make this clear. Located in the Fire Mountain strip mall. Had a few dress pants and shirts dry-cleaned here without any issues. Total was quite cheap for the number of items cleaned. So I will be back! read more

I went here for the first time on Monday based on the reviews I read here. I came here with a dress shirt and pair of dress pants to be washed, dry cleaned and pressed. I was greeted by the owner I believe. He was personable and made a great price for me. He charged $3.25 to wash and press a long sleeve 100% cotton shirt. The pants are a wool\poly combo, which he charged $5.25 to dry clean and press. I picked my clothes up today and couldn't be any happier. They were on hangers with plastic covering them. The man not only walked out to my car, hung my clothes for me, but also opened my door for me so I could get in. He also very graciously thanked me. I will continue to do business here and highly recommend him. read more

I always frequent this place. They've done a great and timely job on everything I've brought them. I even had a gown hemmed and it was reasonable price and a fantastic job. The zipper broke on my favorite bathrobe, and I wasn't able to find another robe that I liked as much as my old one. So I went to Fire Mountain Cleaners because they advertised clothing repair along with cleaning. Also, they got very good reviews on Yelp. I had just come back from a wedding and ruined the bottom of my cream bridesmaid dress. I decided to bring the dress, cream jacket, and white skirt to dry clean. I was greeted by Mr. Lee who was exceptionally kind, knowledgable, sweet, and wonderful. He let me know how long the service would take and when I came back to pick up the clothing- everything feels and looks like new! The bridesmaid dress looks even better than new, the cream jacket and skirt are ready to wear for the season and I wish I had come by sooner. I will definitely be coming back to Fire Mountain Cleaners because of Mr. Lee's service, attention to detail, and beautiful spirit. read more

Excellent customer service! They are always very friendly when I arrive, and they even walk your laundry to your car when you go in to pick it up. The prices are a little on the higher side for cleaning services, as they are $5 for each pair of pants. I do always get a clean pair of pants though from them though, so I can't complain since they do such a good job. If you are looking for a reliable albeit pricey place to get your clothes professionally cleaned, Fire Mountain is the place! read more

Fire Mountain Cleaners is my go-to place to get my garments dry-cleaned whenever I am in town. I have been coming to this establishment for about three years now and glad that I don't have to look anywhere else to get my dresses pressed or my husband's suits cleaned. Mr. Lee and his staff do an awesome job and are some of the nicest folks around. I never would have expected this from a business, but Mr. Lee or one of the workers always walks my clothes out to my car and hangs them up in the backseat. Not that's what I call amazing customer service. Is this place a little more pricier than its competitors? Yes. Is it cash only? Yes. However, I don't mind this inconvenience because I know my clothes are in safe hands here at Fire Mountain Cleaners. There is also a Trader Joe's next door if you are looking to get some grocery shopping finished. I love Trader Joe's as much as I love Fire Mountain Cleaners. :) read more
