A favorite in our neck of the woods, fire chicken offers quick service and delicious flavors. We typically get the fire chicken which comes with rice. It is SPICY and soooo good. The rice is always cooked well and it comes out HOT! It does not reheat well so eat it first thing!

So excited about this Korean fried chicken

Insanely friendly and down to earth, this small space has a chill mom-&-pop vibe. The menu is simple and requires trust in that whatever you get will be fresh and delicious

saw this lil place off the side of page. it's a small trailer type shack, takeout only, and has the menus posted everywhere. the lovely lady greeted me with the cutest voice too (: service was quick ordered the fire chicken gangjung, and it was one of the best chicken dishes i've ever had. perfectly spiced. real korean flavor. RICE was even seasoned to perfection. this place is 35 min from me, and i'm already going again this week. 12/10

Fire Chicken is an accurate name because it is indeed straight fire. Ordering is extremely quick and easy. It's a no-frills take out place, and it does what it does exceedingly well. I've tried the shrimp and chicken with the red, fire, and buldak sauces. I would say all of them are amazing. They looked so good I had to get a bite while they were fresh (still parked in their parking lot). They all have a decent level of spice (although could be more spicy, I'm a big spice lover). Chicken and shrimp are both soooo juicy and shrimps are big-boys too. They're well-seasoned with a super addicting sauce that's all slathered over it. It's a slightly sweet sauce with a big punch of umami in it. The exterior is not crunchy, but in this case, I wasn't really missing it (offset by the flavor explosion). The little crispies they put on top aren't overly crispy, but it does add a slightly noticeable textural difference to it (although it could definitely have more textural contrast). It's also a decent amount of food, so both my palate and belly are satisfied. Overall, excellent place. Well worth it. 5/5 stars.

The taste of the fire chicken felt like it brought me right back home to mom's cooking! Tiny, quaint building off page rd that just does pickup orders but the chicken was super crispy, had a good amount of meat, and the spice level was perfect for me! Really nice lady working. We called to pickup and it was ready in 5 minutes! If you already have rice at home, I recommend getting the double of portion of chicken (good to share or for leftovers!)

Hidden mom and pop joint. I went there on a Friday. Called them ahead to order Buldak chicken Gangjung. I've been told as Five minutes wait time. It was ready when I arrived. Buldak chicken Gangjung: It's tasty and not that spicy. No chicken smell at all and my picky eater wife also loved it. Finally, she has some Korean food option. Not very spicy and i didn't sweat. It has heat as well as sweet. My kids also enjoyed chicken mandu. This place is very small and primarily themed for to go. The lady is not a native English speaker which I'm not overly concerned about. But just saying. I love the food and that's why I'm there. I tried to ask her what she recommends for kids, she said she recommends chicken nuggets. I asked for a Korean dish and she couldn't get it. But , she is good at taking orders and very friendly. No complaints. I ended up ordering chicken mandu for kids. There is a menu with printed photos of items which will help you if you are placing in person order. No restrooms that I'm aware of. Will definitely come back.

I got the Fire Shrimp and it was very tasty! The building definitely isn't in great shape and could use some care. The service was okay, not really quick, but not overly slow either. But them SHRIMP!!!

We stopped in for take out today for the first time. You order online and then pick up. I ordered the fire chicken mild. It was the perfect level of spicy and I cannot imagine what very spicy tastes like. The chicken was flavorful and a great texture. The chicken is boneless but not ..... mysterious in texture. I will definitely be back for another pickup and will also try the grilled meats next time!

Got to visit Fire Chicken in Overland, MO and a boy what an experience. An Asian restaurant with fusion types of deliciousness. Fire Chicken is take out only so be prepared. Would definitely recommend Fire Chicken for any whose interested in something different and very affordable. Tried the shrimp tempura and fire chicken gangjung. Ordered it spicy and it delivered. They also serve varieties of bulgogi and mandu. Lots more for us to try on the next visit. Will be back.

BULDAK chicken Gang Jung (sweet and spicy level 5 out of 5 )

Food tastes great it's a Togo spot so don't expect to sit down. You could if you wanted to on one of the stools. Amazing service as well!

The fire chicken is incredible! Very small building just off the road. Walked in, ordered, and had my food within 5 minutes. Very kind worker and reasonable price for the amount of food you get.

I have been hearing great things about this place and finally checked it out. It's not very exciting to look at but the food here was amazing. I ordered before I went because I heard this old place was mostly carry out. Food was ready by the time I got there. I ordered the red chicken gangjung and got it extra spicy. Although it's was a little too spicy for me (will get regular spice next time), it was crispy and delicious. The lady at the counter was friendly and quick to ring me up! There's a small parking lot to park in. There are a few seats available at the restaurant, but I did carry out so I can't say much about those! I will def be going back here!!!!

When we pulled up, there was a line but it moved quicker than we thought. Once we got inside, we were both surprised at how small it was. While I've yet to go to Japan, it def gives off the vibe strictly from ambiance and the decor. It's small but intimate and offers seats at the "bar", as well as communal seating. We didn't get a choice and were sat at the bar. Ordering is done through the QR code and water is offered self-serve. We split an order of the appetizers: house cucumbers and karaage. I'm not a huge cucumber fan but I tried it. I preferred the one with miso as I found it to be more subtle in taste. The chicken was average and didn't wow me. We each got the chicken shoyu with no pork, no scallions and an extra egg. It felt like it took a long time to get our food. We were both surprised once we got it as we were expecting actual chicken pieces but after rereading the menu description, it was chicken oil. He was a bit disappointed as both our dishes were covered in scallions. I suggested we not send it back since it took quite a while to get our food and they were close to closing. Nevertheless, I found the broth to be tasty and full of flavor despite there being no meat. Overall, it was a solid first visit.

Once inside, I was directed to a table in the corner. The service was prompt, and we received our orders quickly. A younger gentleman approached us and seemed a bit confused when I asked about the drink menu. We were looking for sake, and they had a decent selection of both wine and sake, but nothing particularly exciting. We decided to try the Hana white peach sake, which was a pleasant surprise. The food menus were in a state of disrepair, with staples holding them together. We started with some appetizers, including pork gyoza, crab rangoon, and spicy edamame. The pork gyoza was delicious, but the crab rangoon was quite crunchy and flakey with not much flavor. The spicy edamame tasted like it had been soaked in Franks' Hot sauce or Sriracha sauce, which I wasn't a fan of. I wish I had ordered them regular instead. For sushi, I opted for a shrimp tempura roll and a rainbow roll, both of which satisfied my craving. Overall, it was a decent experience for the price, but nothing stands out that would bring me back again and again like other places. I might come back and try the ramen and see if that changes my mind.

I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The space was definitely crowded for a weekend night, but the seat-yourself setup worked out perfectly for the two of us; we still had three tables to choose from.
