If you've ever wanted a ninja, a ramen master, and a sub-sandwich artisan to all open a restaurant together, Yummi is your dream come true. This place is a triple threat: fresh, flavorful sushi, steaming bowls of ramen, and subs loaded with portions so generous they practically require a seatbelt. Somehow, they manage to combine lightning-fast service with a tranquil, zen-like atmosphere that actually makes you want to relax instead of inhale your food and run. Add in friendly staff, super reasonable prices, and a drive-thru with online ordering so you don't even have to put on real pants? Consider my loyalty bought and paid for. read more

Stopped in here for a quick-ish sit down meal and it was great! It was quiet, as expected for a rainy afternoon. I got the crab Rangoon, which I always enjoy, but we also tried the Kani salad! It was excellent! I love the Maplewood roll (I always order it) and my boyfriend tried one (he can't remember its name ...sigh), but he said it was also delicious! At one point, my drink stayed empty for a while, but maybe they were busy with online orders, etc so I'm not too worried about that! I ended up getting a crisp Dr. Pepper to go, so I'm good haha! Check them out when you get the chance! read more

Walking in it's cute they have nice seating options. Every-time we come the service is great rather we eat in or take it to go. The also offer a drive thru option. Sadly the sushi has been real hit or miss lately. The first few times we have come it was amazing then this past time it didn't taste all that fresh at all. I will give it another shot and not completely cancel them out due to every business has their day read more

This is one of my favorite spots. I love the drive through aspect, they are open relatively late, and the food is so good! The service is always efficient with very hard workers. I usually get the maplewood roll. They have specialty rolls as well as regular and sashimi etc. the appetizers are bountiful, good ramen, gyoza, and the sandwiches are amazing. The bread they use to make the sandwiches takes it to another level. The inside is a pretty generic looking fast food place, I think it used to be a Quiznos? Recommend take away. Always ready to go to yummi tummi I hope they stick around for the long run! read more

Yummi Tummi has became my personal favorite Sushi spot! When you walk in you immediately get greeted and seated. They even give you the choice of ordering online and picking it up. The staff are very kind, helpful and patient. The food comes out at the perfect pace, it doesn't take long at all. The seating is very comfortable, mainly booths with some half booth and half chairs. They have a bench up front to sit and wait if you ordered food to be picked up. They also have outside seating with umbrellas connected, perfect during the summer time. The atmosphere here is perfect for all different settings, a group of friends, a first date, just you and your significant. One of my favorite things to do is to bring friends from out of town and family members here to try out the Yummi Sushi. Everytime I visit Yummi Tummi I try a new dish or sushi roll, they NEVER disappoint! Their Spicy Steak Ramen is filling! The ramen has a great spice to it, it's not too spicy and has the perfect texture. Their meat in the ramen is delicious and cut perfectly. One of my favorite sushi rolls here is the Spicy Yellowtail Roll. There's really no bad sushi options here. The sushi comes out quickly, fresh, and placed on your plate with elegance and care. It's truly Yummy in my Tummi read more

This is a fairly decent restaurant for your Ramen fix. They have tasty vegetarian friendly Ramen and it is prepared rather quickly. The Service is standard from my limited interaction, my main priority after my run days is food so it was good enough ha. We started with hot green tea and 3 simple rolls (spicy tuna, California and crab/avocado). All were well made with fresh ingredients. My dining partner got the spicy steak ramen - generous sized serving with thinly sliced steak. I had the salmon poke bowl - it was full of so many different items - cucumber, edamame, crab leg, salmon, lettuce, seaweed salad, red onion, and a light, but flavorful poke sauce. It was delicious! Everything was very reasonably priced for the portions! read more

I've been here 3 times. I think I had nothing on my first visit, years ago, before the covid-era remodel. I've been twice in the past 2 months. I had rolls both times. The rolls are not only good, but they are reasonably priced. Inexpensive. I want to say "cheap," but that word isn't nice enough. A veggie roll with avocados for under $5.50 with tax. The roll was of moderate size, too. I'd like to see more vegetarian rolls on the menu. Most of the rolls are pretty seafood-forward (as you'd expect). Service is reasonably prompt. I suspect YT does a fair amount of takeout/delivery business. The place wasn't busy either of the last 2 times, but I tend to eat away from the usual mealtimes, so that's not surprising. read more

I've often wondered about this place as I drive down Big Bend fairly often. I am so glad that my friend Parker recommended it to me, or I may not have ended up here. I've been several times now, and each time I go, they are consistently great. We usually order crab wontons and two cardinal rolls. My wife can't get enough of the cardinal rolls. The best part is that she isn't really a sushi person. It's changed her! Now we are here at least once a week these days. My son really likes the hand rolls, and he is partial to the avocado and crab one. The service is phenomenal, and they are always welcoming. The inside is quiet and comfortable. We do often use the drive through, but I prefer sitting inside. Don't go changing Yummi Tummi, we love you. (I had to post a second review because I can't seem to retrieve my previous account, and yelp support is non existent for non business accounts. Womp womp.) read more

Run, don't walk to Yummi Tummi! My friend Parker told me that he loved the food here, and since I value his opinion, I decided to go and give them a try. I was very much happy I did. The unassuming, but perfectly located building held secrets that only the initiated would know about. The space was clean, the service was very friendly, and the menu was fairly large, so it was hard to decide on what I actually wanted. I remembered reading the crab rangoon was great, so I gave them a try. I ended up landing on the Cardinal roll because it incorporated three of my favorite sushi toppings, shrimp tempura, crab meat, and spicy tuna. The crab rangoon were really good. 10/10. They were crispy, not too thick of a wrapper, the filling was great. It's definitely a STL style crab rangoon, in which it's more sweet than savory, but I like both types. Most importantly, they actually tasted like crab meat. I can't count the number of times when I've ordered these at others places and didn't even taste crab meat. The amount of sauce included with them was perfect in my opinion, because I often am served a huge bowl of sauce and don't need nearly that much. It always feels wasteful to me, so I'm happy with what we got today. When the cardinal roll came to my table, I was blown away by how beautifully crafted it was. I have to tell you though, it was even more flavorful and amazing tasting than it was visually, which is saying a lot. I honestly love this place and will be back. I stopped on the way out and asked the waitress who made the roll and she pointed to the man in the kitchen. I told her I loved it so much and to thank him for me. read more

Omg. My husband is a huge noodle guy and we're always looking for good Ramen. We happened to find this spot on DoorDash and open late so we gave it a try. I'm so glad we did! Both of our Ramens were super flavorful. I got the miso and the pork was so tender and flavorful. He got the spicy steak and loved the spice but his once complaint was it's a sliced steak - he was hoping it would be more meaty. Their sushi rolls were delicious (we got the holiday roll and it was loaded and super good) and even their veggie tempura was bomb. Even as takeout, everything was warm and high quality. We will definitely have to try it in person but it's fantastic. read more

They were talking very loudly while preparing food at the sushi counter, and I tried to ignore them. There was way too much sauce on the sushi, and I felt like their air conditioning wasn't working properly, which made it uncomfortable to eat noodles. Plus, they were deliberately selling chips that had expired months ago!! read more

First time trying Yummi Tummi in Saint Louis. The food was delivered by grubhub & arrived within an hour. The shrimp tempura was delicious. I actually preferred the veggies to the shrimp in this dish. The chicken gyoza was also pretty good and even better with the sweet soy mix added to my bag. Lastly, I LOVED the Cardinal Roll, but found the tuna in Spicy Girl a bit hard to get down. Way too much sinew/connective tissue made the entire roll pretty unpleasant for me. I actually only tried a couple pieces before I gave up on that one. If you don't mind that, then I'm sure it's a great choice. Overall, I would try them again (no tuna) read more

Yummi Tummi totally lives up to its name! Even if you haven't heard of Yummi Tummi, chances are you've driven by it dozens of times. Located in Maplewood, off of Big Bend, this hidden gem has an unassuming exterior but exudes comfort inside. The homey dining room has limited seating, but don't let that deter you from dining-in. As you can see, we ordered sushi, sushi, and um *more* sushi! Other menu options range from ramen and poke bowls to sub sandwiches, and the prices are just as tasty! read more

You really wouldn't think anything about this place from the way it looks from the outside, as well as it having a drive-thru but it is ABSOLUTELY fantastic! I am dumbfounded as to the number of 5 star ratings. I couldn't finish my meal because it was horrible. I ordered a tuna roll and 4 pieces of nigiri to go. The nigiri was anemic looking and not fresh. The tuna roll tasted gummy and was flavorless. In addition, the temperature of both items was warm. I hope I don't get food poisoning. Definitely would not recommend. I had a feeling my food was not going to be up to par when I saw a beard trimmer amongst other oddities for sale at the counter. read more

The food was delicious, the place was clean, and the services was excellent. Plenty of parking.

Delicious with good portions and reasonably priced! Quick and friendly service with a homey atmosphere.

Quick service, easy menu, great food, and great Asian decor. Granted the place is a repurposed old jack in the box, but it works well for the family-run restaurant. Miso soup is on point, the ramen is insane and comes with all sorts of veggies, proteins, and fixins. Place was clean and maximized use of the space. read more

I had my food delivered, maybe the food experience would be better if I sat in and dined. This was okay sushi to me and the crab rangood was dry and seemed to jabe been sitting for awhile. Not really hard to mess up a sushi roll, but it was okay. Service was good though. If I really wanted sushi and this was the only place that was open, then I might come back. Maybe I'll try another item and dine in and see if my thoughts change, but for now I'm in between a yes and a no. read more

Service... 9.5/10 Food... 8.6/10 Price... 9/10 This adorable little Ramen store has a drive through! Service was outstanding, and we were able to be seated right away on a week night. Be warned: seating is limited. Try the Crab Rangoon as the appetizer. They were very fresh from the kitchen and tasted great. The ramen was outstanding! Very filling and full of flavor. We tried both the Miso and the Tonkotsu ramen, and we recommend both! It was close but the Miso just barely won out as the favorite. Next time, I will be ordering my Ramen without the bamboo shoots because I just wasn't a fan of the texture. read more

My son wanted soup noodles and so the closest place with ramen was this location. What a hidden secret! The food was excellent. I got the pink girl roll and the combination for jalapeños and mango was excellent. My kids ate the salmon and shrimp nigiri and also had the veggie ramen noodles. They loved it. They had so much fun slurping them. The service is blah- not friendly nor nice but also not horrible in any way. Just very stoic. The ambiance is dull, think of the old restaurants with not much decor. Very basic. Would definitely come again! read more

One thing I always get from here is spicy steak Ramen it's so addicting especially for the price! I've had it too many times! Yummi Tummi - Spicy steak, Ramen - Sushi Bars Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Don't let the name scare you off. They were originally called Toasty Subs & Sushi, but evidently decided to switch to a name with more character. Conveniently located on Big Bend in a former Naugle's, Yummi Tummi offers an interesting variety of foods, including ramen, sushi, poke bowls, and a large selection of hot & cold sub sandwiches, in 3 sizes. They also have a selection of beverages, including boba tea. They serve tasty, healthy food at a good price. I usually get the Tonkatsu ramen, but have gotten the Poke bowls also. The ramen comes with braised pork belly in a pork broth, a hard-boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and more. They don't usually have hot sauce out, but you can request some. My daughter enjoys the sandwiches, especially the turkey bacon club. Restaurant still has the original drive-through window, which seems to get a lot of use. There's a few original Naugles tables on the patio in front of the entrance, if you'd like to eat outside. I'm happy that Yummi Tummi weathered COVID OK. I view it as a testament that they offer good food and good value, and the locals were happy to help keep this Mom & Pop business afloat. read more

I don't know how this place has kept on getting five stars. This is my first time ever eating here and this is some of the most disgusting ramen I've ever had in my life. The eggs were completely rotten and the tonkatsu was EXTREMELY DRY and tasted bad as well. Almost as if the meat had gone bad as well. I tried the sushi too and it's extremely subpar. Not even decent. The noodles in the ramen were undercooked and had to take a few minutes to soak in the broth in order to soften up. I'm genuinely considering going and getting tested to make sure I don't have tapeworms of any sort. This place needs to be shut down or inspected! read more

Food: 3 Stars Service: 3 Stars We were in the area running errands and opted for a late lunch at Yummi Tummi. We walked in and found the restaurant was run be a family. The adults were hard at work getting plates out to tables while an older woman scolded their children for running around the restaurant giggling and playing. My heart was full just watching the entire family working together to bring life into the business. Things we ordered: - Taro Bubble Tea: Loved the chewy balls of boba and the drink wasn't overly sweet. -Crab Rangoon: Most places skimp out on the imitation crab meat overall, but Yummi Tummi filled their rangoons with an abundance of it. I also appreciated their super crispy exterior. - Tuna Poke Bowl: Too much rice, veggies need to be cut into smaller bite sized pieces (this is not a salad), need more fish (I had 6 cubes total), over sauced. Flavors were there and I was happy to see various toppings spilling over my bowl, but some tweaks are necessary for this dish to be really successful, in my opinion. - Spicy Beef Ramen: I don't know what it was with this dish, but the moment they brought it to our table, it smelled fowl. The off-putting smell permeated throughout the restaurant. The noodles themselves had a nice texture and were chewy, but we could not stomach the rest. read more

I ordered Ramen from Yummi Tummi today and had my partner pick it up because I was ill. It was literally the worst ramen I've ever had. The noodles were uncooked and hard, the broth tasted like dirty water and the soft boiled eggs were old and hard around the edges. I know this isn't a top tier place but this was beyond what I would expect from a fast casual ramen place. I won't be eating here again. read more

I enjoyed my meal at Yummi Tummi! I preferred the ramen options over the sushi, and thought the Tako Yaki was pretty tasty even though I'm not the biggest fan of octopus. A neighborhood favorite! Highly recommend. Food and service are excellent. So good. Give it a try.

Service was very good. The food was very tasty. I would recommend if you are in the area.

We drive by here all the time and decided to stop in for dinner. Only one other customer was there around 6pm but it was a weekday. The food was good but nothing spectacular--expected for a cheap sushi spot in st. louis. The tempura was hot and crispy but a little too oily for my taste, wouldn't order it again. The tuna nigiri was probably the best thing we ate, super fresh and clean. Service is super quick and from ordering to eating only took 10 minutes read more
