Finished it all and savored every moment!

Delicious!! Came in Sunday about 7pm, was quickly greeted by several servers. You order at the counter, pay then sit down and they bring you your food. You can get your own refills on drinks, complimentary hot tea is so cozy and fragrant. Perfect for today that was cloudy and windy. We had the veggie ramen. It was the best veggie ramen ever. Very rich broth with lots of flavorful toppings. Definitely will be back.

Quick & satisfying. We paid extra for the chili spice bombs and sadly they weren't spicy at all ... I used my entire bomb . They do offer veggie ramen here as well , omit the egg to be a vegan bowl . Good flavor . Good service . I knock a star for lack of spice and the place is in need of a serious deep clean .

Listen, when it's 20 below zero outside (okay, fine, maybe just Midwest "feels like" weather), there are only a few acceptable ways to survive: 1) Hibernate like a bear, 2) Move to a tropical island, or 3) Drown yourself in a giant bowl of ramen. Since options one and two aren't realistic, I went to Nami Ramen. And let me tell you, this place gets it. I ordered the Curry Laksa, because when your face is freezing off, nothing revives your soul like a steaming bowl of curried coconut broth. It's rich, it's creamy, it's got just the right amount of spice to remind you that you're still alive. Floating in this golden elixir? Jumbo shrimp (yes, actual jumbo, not "shrimp-sized" shrimp), fried tofu that soaks up the broth like a delicious little sponge, bean sprouts for that fresh crunch, and cilantro to keep things interesting. Is this the best ramen in St. Louis? I don't know, but when you're in a cold-induced existential crisis, it sure tastes like it. And in case you were wondering--yes, she is #stlouispescatarianapproved. Now, go warm up before you start considering hibernation again.

Daughter and her husband in town since husband is the military and he's on break. He chose Nami Ramen. Very cold outside below freezing but warm inside. Daughter ordered miso ramen with tofu instead of pork. She ate all of it and said it was very good. Husband ordered signature ramen. He ate all real fast so I'm sure he likes it very much. Mine Curry Laska. It was so good and good curry Flavor and not too spicy. Also they serve free hot tea. Felt warm after eating this food. I'd come back for sure. Thank you!

Got takeout, and I'd preferably give this a 3.5 but 3 stars is appropriate. The ramen here is okay, the apps are pretty good, but it's nothing to get excited about. Here's what I tried: -Pork Bao Bun: 7/10 - It was only one bao, and I had hoped for 2, but the pork belly was so delicious with such a sweet, hoisin sauce that I was able to forgive that. The meat shredded softly as I bit into the bao and the bread itself was sweet and fluffy: a textural success. -Edamame: 8/10 - I love edamame. They came steamed in the pods, and were perfectly slightly salted and well cooked. Fresh and simple. -Grilled Chicken Ramen: 6/10 - The grilled chicken was good and there was a solid portion of noodles, but the broth was sort of bland and reminiscent of chicken noodle soup. My friend had black garlic tonkotsu and i think her broth was better.

Not bad! We came because Menya Rui's line was far too long. The ramen was yummy and the quantity was generous. Perfect for a rainy day. The decor inside is also cute, not huge but enough space for bigger parties too.

I came here a few minutes after they opened at 11am. The staff was busy preparing and it took a minute to get my order in and seated, (same for the customer who came in after me). I'm glad I came early because there was a stack of raw meats left out for the entirety of my 30 minutes there. Unsure what that was about. The ambiance was nice. I ordered the roasted black garlic tonkotsu. Beautifully prepared and a large portion, however the flavor was lacking something and it was a bit bland. I left a lot of broth simply uninterested in finishing it. It wasn't cup of noodle level but I've definitely had (and reviewed!) better. Overall it was alright, but I don't think I'll be back considering the underwhelming flavors and higher price point.

I did a carry out, but the place looked nice from what I could see while I waited for my turn to the register to pick up. I added a side of the tonkatsu broth, and told me it be a few minutes. I ran next door to get my husbands dinner. I went out the door and that guy came running out to give me my order. I felt so embarassed! I should have just waited! Great customer service. I actually ordered the chef special chow kueh theow... a dish i associate with my home of malaysia. I ordered little ninja rice bowl with pork for my toddler and a sode of the broth. Noodles are spicy, but good. Not too greasy. The tonkatsu broth? OmG! I am so glad my fat butt ordered it. The broth was sooo homey and flavorful, different from any tonkatsu I have had. Honestly reminds of a chinese soup. Totally recommend it and would love to come back and try a noodlebowl with this soup. My daughter ate heartily of this soup with rice mixed it. "Mmm good" with every bite. Highly recommend!

This was my first time trying Ramen and it was really good. The restaurant staff were very friendly and they helped us decide on menu options.

I am excited to try a cozy Japanese ramen establishment in st Louis. It is a relatively small restaurant across from Washington university and Forest Park area. I ordered black garlic pork ramen. It arrives quickly even though the restaurant was packed. There are small containers of ginger and spices on the table, which are excellent to go with my bowl of ramen. The ramen came with eggs, bean sprouts and noodles. I also added the ginger and some Japanese spices for the kick . The broth and egg are so delicious. The noodles though are just average. I imagine this is by far the best in st Louis. I will come back again!

Salt, salt, and more salt. That's my guess for the main ingredients in my ramen bowl. Came here with a group of friends, and impressions overall were lukewarm. The bowl looks deceptively large but the actual quantity of noodles was quite low. The price isn't ridiculous but still feels too much for what you get. Service was fast, at least. If you're looking for ramen in STL, try midtown instead of Delmar.

Nami Ramen is a super cute spot to enjoy Ramen. The customer service was excellent and it smelled delicious. The overall restaurant is on the smaller side so you definitely would not want to bring a big group (3-4 at max). In addition to our ramen, we tried the gyoza, a spam musubi and our little one had the little ninja rice bowl with chicken katsu. The flavor was definitely rich and creamy in both bowls and overall flavor profiles were on par with expectation.

When we pulled up, there was a line but it moved quicker than we thought. Once we got inside, we were both surprised at how small it was. While I've yet to go to Japan, it def gives off the vibe strictly from ambiance and the decor. It's small but intimate and offers seats at the "bar", as well as communal seating. We didn't get a choice and were sat at the bar. Ordering is done through the QR code and water is offered self-serve. We split an order of the appetizers: house cucumbers and karaage. I'm not a huge cucumber fan but I tried it. I preferred the one with miso as I found it to be more subtle in taste. The chicken was average and didn't wow me. We each got the chicken shoyu with no pork, no scallions and an extra egg. It felt like it took a long time to get our food. We were both surprised once we got it as we were expecting actual chicken pieces but after rereading the menu description, it was chicken oil. He was a bit disappointed as both our dishes were covered in scallions. I suggested we not send it back since it took quite a while to get our food and they were close to closing. Nevertheless, I found the broth to be tasty and full of flavor despite there being no meat. Overall, it was a solid first visit.

Some rolls are half off and so are a few beverages, like hot sake. I had never had hot sake. I've only had any sake once. I liked it fine, but I didn't want a second order after I finished the first. I was disappointed that Robata was out of plum wine. Instead I ordered what was described as a white sangria, but it tasted more like a brandy. I had a few sips and gave it to my friend. I had 4 vegetarian sushi rolls. Only the asparagus was included with happy hour. My 3 other rolls were takuan, pickle plum and BB. As much as I like plum (keep reading), and takuan was a pleasant surprise, and the asparagus was good, the BB, which has tempura asparagus, cream cheese, and sweet soy, was my favorite item of the evening. I was happy to see umeboshi onigiri on the lengthy menu. These were of a good size, but I think it perhaps would have benefitted from a higher pickled plum to rice ratio. (The only time I've had it has been from a food truck and I don't know how representative it is of onigiri.) Each order of food took a while to come out. My friend had trouble getting the server's attention when she wanted to put in more orders. Robata is not a place for a quick happy hour bite. It's going to take a while, especially if you're ordering in multiple rounds like we did. When the kitchen got too busy, my order another roll was denied. That happened well before dinner service ended and it was disappointing. I would have waited a bit longer. But it was probably good to get cut off from sushi at some point. We were a little confused by the bills. My friend may have overpaid (not gotten happy hour price) for some of her items, and there was some question about whether mine had been billed correctly, but in the end we decided that mine was probably correct. Hers, though... we aren't sure. I think I'll return to Robata for the BB roll, plum wine, and maybe something new, but I will be sure to have plenty of time, order a bunch all at once, and check the bill.

They aren't the best I've had, but I'll probably be back semi-regularly to get my fix of the flavor, which is just so unique.
