Owner Jami was at the counter and she is truly awesome; kind, patient, friendly, the whole nine yards. Let there be no doubt the pastrami was the star of the show. Holy cow it was so very tender and juicy AND flavorful, some of the best pastrami I've ever had. I was initially disappointed that it wasn't sliced deli thin like one of my favorites, Carl's Deli, but my disappointment faded immediately upon first bite. Wow! This may be my new favorite pastrami in the metro. Thick cut was definitely the right move for this house made pastrami. Jami threw in a small cup of their white sauce to try and I'm so glad she did. If you like a mild but flavorful horseradish sauce, you won't be disappointed by their white sauce. Karla really enjoyed the ham and cheese. The ham was so plentiful, we took some off of the sandwich and brought it home with us to make another sandwich out of. She would have much preferred Texas toast over the sourdough but she said the sandwich was nonetheless tasty with flavorful ham. Both sandwiches came with a side of pasta salad. Full disclosure, I'm not a cold pasta salad fan but it was tasty. Karla absolutely loved the pasta salad with its sweet and slightly tangy dressing. Overall, a super wonderful experience.
