The food at this restaurant was superb. I give the food a five star. The sandwich was by far my favorite. The homemade bread they use is out of this world. I could eat the bread by itself and be completely satisfied with my meal. My wife ate the Gyro and loved it. My son got chicken strips and fries and they were some of the best chicken strips I've ever had. Yes I stole some of them. I believe the guy who took our order seemed to be an owner or something, but he was extremely nice and very helpful. If I wanted to be nitpicky, my only complaint is the seating area to be honest, wasn't the cleanest. The tables weren't really clean. The highchair was sticky and the place just needed cleaned. So it would be nice to see them possibly try to do a little deep cleaning that being said, I would highly recommend this deli. You won't be disappointed. There was a steady flow of carryout while we were there which I feel speaks highly of the restaurant and the food they serve. The price is a great value for the amount of food you get. If you're hungry when you come here, you won't leave hungry. They give you plenty of food. I was stuffed and couldn't eat anything the rest of the day. Been here a couple of times before but always forget to take pictures of the food before I eat it all! It's a little out of the way, but worth stopping in if you can. Genuine, tasty food. Everything that we have had there comes out quick, hot and delicious. The people working there seem to be family and do a great job bringing things out, and checking on you to make sure you don't need anything. Must have asked if everything was ok at least 3 times! Gyro sandwich is on their homemade bread which is soft and flavorful. Gyro deluxe is huge and could easily feed 2 people! Basic dining room, but has comfortable seating and a couple of tvs, which had college football on while we were there. Great place to grab lunch with family or friends. Employees were extremely nice and willing to help us through our first time visit. The owner said I should try the Gyro Double Smash burger....sidenote....they were right on. It was amazing! Two huge smashed burger patties covered in cheese. Then tons...I mean tons of gyro meat....and to top it all off...it's topped with in house made 1000 Island. This is a must burger!!! My wife got the gyro meal and she said it was huge and amazing!! She's excited to go back. We had a nice little booth in the back with enough room to talk. My husband and I recently visited Zito's for the first time after seeing some recommendations in the local Facebook group. It was genuinely one of the best meals we have enjoyed out at a restaurant in months! We feel like the quality of restaurants have gone down drastically, and everyone is serving the same Sysco slop. The food was insanely delicious, the owner was so incredibly friendly and informative, and he even gave us a loaf of homemade bread to take with us when we left. We will be back over and over again. This place is crazy good. I had been seeing photos of the Döner Gyro on the internet and put it on my to-do list. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the Döner Gyro with no tomato. I couldn't believe how big it was when they brought it out. I only got through 1/2 of it and took the other half home. The somun bread is impossibly fresh and pillowy. The inner edges had a nice crispy edge from the flat top. Whatever gyro cone they are using for the meat is perfectly spiced and delicious. The tzatziki sauce is tasty and generous. I can't believe this whole sandwich is like $11. It's a lot of food! More importantly this is absolutely delicious. I've been to many of the other Bosnian places in this neighborhood and Zito Deli for sure has them beat in the somun bread department! I'll be back! read more

I will admit that I don't know much about cevapi and many options there looked really great. But I didn't love the cevapi, it seemed under spiced and greasy. The servings were huge and the staff was very friendly. The fries were also great (albeit a huge serving). Ambiance wise it was your typical deli but you could tell it was a local favorite. I intend to return and try either a gyro or one of the delicious looking cheese pies. Frankly I think cevapi may have just have not been my cup of tea. read more

I got the pljeskavica, bread was great but the meat wasn't. Was supposed to come with onions and banana peppers unfortunately only came with onions. Honestly worst part bc I love love banana peppers. Didn't have a great experience as I ended up getting food poisoning. Nonetheless this place has great reviews so I must have had a rare experience. But maybe stick to their classics. read more
