The walls are white throughout the whole restaurant. Needs a little bit of difference. Some hanging plants in windows between the booths would add some character. Everything & everywhere were very clean! Service was excellent! Friendly informative server as this was my first visit. You get a bowl from your server at your table. Then you get to pick everything that goes into it from the spread/food bar, yum! Meats choices, veggie choices, rice or noodle choices, top it with the sauces you want and they grill it in front of you. Lovely fragrances, excellent sauce tastes. Yum!! We had the hot tea with our bowls it was delicious.

We were going somewhere else but the place was busy and I saw this and was sold. This is so much better than a burger or a sandwich. Prices are good. The place is spotless. There are plenty of choices of ingredients and sauces. Service is very good. The chef stir frying the food did a great job getting everything cooked right which is tough when you have so many different ingredients, like shrimp, chicken, tofu, and veggies all cooking together. I would have to look hard to find things to improve but I thought the beef was a bit tough and the ambiance is pretty plain so -0.5pts but who cares when the food was delicious and fun!!

I always find that Asian food hits the spot when I'm really hungry, so I looked online for a place that "the locals" rated highly and I came across "Jade Dumpling and Noodles" on Willamette. Let me just say that the fine people of Eugene didn't steer me wrong! My oldest son loves dumplings and I love noodles (really any type of Asian food), so this place was a gem! We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, shrimp, pork and a spicy pork and they were All Delicious! These "soup dumplings" were small and bite sized but were packed with huge savory flavors! They are made right there and are amazing! I myself had the mixed noodles. House made noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, stir fried in a delicious lite sauce, that enhanced the flavors of the dish, without overpowering it. You could taste all the ingredients and they were fresh and delicious! I cleaned the plate and now I can't wait to return to Jade Dumplings and Noodles again and try their other dishes, that I know will be tasty! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, all in all, a Great dining experience! Try them out and you'll be hooked on them, just like I am now!!!

Nicely priced for a family of 4. And we ordered a lot. We only paid $109! Service was awesome also. Our waitress was Chi-chi! She offered her recommendations and answered all our questions. We wanted to try this location and was sorely disappointed. First there isn't even a hostess to take our name and inform us of a wait time. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! Instead they provide a notepad and a handwritten sign to put your name down. In the 15 minutes we stood around waiting for some shred of customer service we witnessed one guy walk in, grab a menu then was followed by his wife. When my wife confronted this guy and his wife she stated "they had reservations". THIS PLACE DOES NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO STEP IN FOR THE 6 OTHER PARTIES BEFORE THIS COUPLE that had "RESERVATIONS". Clearly they don't give a shit about their customers and STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! I guess they feel they have enough business they don't need future customers but if they're so busy then why be so cheap as to not hire a host/hostess? Just bad business practice.

Great place to pick up quick and hot lunch to go…read more Ordered the pan fried pork buns and steamed dumplings. $12.95 each. The pan fried buns came with chili oil and the dumplings with soy sauce. Took 10 mins. Was planning to wait until I got to the park to enjoy the sun but the dumpling smelled too good and wound up scaring them down in the car. A lot of selections in the menu... planning to return to try a few other dishes in the coming weeks. Dining in seems like a very comfortable option with spaciousness between tables and clean spaces.

I ordered Mapo, and it came with some steamed rice. I ordered it with Medium Heat, since this my first time here, and I have no idea what their spice levels are like. My Mapo had just the tiniest bit of spice... not much at all. I tried the chili oil that was on the table... and found it lacking in heat also, but flavor was ok. Mapo was decent... not very MA LA for those know the term... hardly any numbing Sichuan peppercorn in it that I could taste. So this is more of an Americanized version.... not the Chengdu version. Lots of sauce, and a good portion of tofu... enough that I brought over half home with me for later. Rice was ok... edges were kind of dry, so it was not super fresh. But I would eat here again... there are a lot of traditional Sichuanese dishes on the menu, and they even have meat skewers that I will have to try. Next time I will order HOT (extra Ma La)... and see if that does the job.
