Came in mid-afternoon on the weekend and the place was busy. We were seated immediately and received our food ~10 mins after ordering. We ordered the spicy and sour beef noodle soup, veggie dumplings, and scallion pancakes. There is an option to adjust the spice and numbing levels to your dishes. The food came out steaming. The veggie dumplings were flavorful and the wrapping was just thick enough to make 10-dumplings a hearty meal. The taste profile is similar to what you'd find in Northern China, and there is chili oil/vinegar/soy sauce at the table for you to make your own sauce. Scallion pancakes were deep-fried and on the thin side. They were more oily than the homemade ones I'm used to, but the crunch and flavor on them were nice. The sour and spicy beef noodle soup (opted spicy and numbing) was yummy. You can tell the noodles were handmade and they had a good bite to them. The beef was tender, the bok choy was a nice refreshing balance to the bold flavors of the dish, and the tea egg was a nice addition.
