Flew to Lancaster with a friend and needed a place to chat. Ordered bruschetta and fried calamari, and of course some Yuengling beer. There is not much to say about beer since it's a pretty standard fare. I thought the calamari is very good and tasty. It's nicely seasoned, and I like the fact that they use corn meal which added some textures to the calamari. The bruschetta is a bit disappointing and hence 1-star less. The bread was quite cold when we got the bruschetta. Since the cheese is melted, I assume the bread was in the oven at some point. The fact that the bread is cold when it got to our table, something is a miss. Taste wise is okay especially if you order it with the add-on balsamic vinegar glaze. COVID-19 era wise, I thought the place has done an excellent job in modifying their business to meet the new normal. All staffs wore face masks. Some even wore BYD mask which is more expensive than cheapie mask brands. Not that BYD brand is more superior (which I have no idea), but at this very right moment, BYD masks cost about 15$ per box vs $4 cheap surgical masks on eBay. Outdoor seating is a big plus for this place. The patio is right by the "airplanes parking area", and you can see planes taking off, landing, and taxiing very clearly. If I could leave no stars I would. I had friends visiting from out of town and they wouldn't accept their ID's and were persistent that they were fake. I have a Pennsylvania ID and they said that their "scanners" were not registering them. We have all had our ID's scanned at multiple places in Lancaster. Being rude didn't help them out at all. Worst experience we've had in a while. We had a reservation so we were seated with no problem, but then we were just ignored. They were busy but they had plenty of staff, and every table around us got checked on 2 to 3 times while we sat there. A few minutes after we sat down another couple was seated and someone took their drink order within 2 minutes. We weren't even in a corner, we were in the middle area and a member of the wait staff walked by us almost every minute. The final straw was when the table next to us left and a waitress started cleaning the table while we were still waiting on someone to even acknowledge us. The food remains good (hence the 3-star rating), but under the new owner, servers don't have "sections." Servers have tables in different dining rooms, and they are running like crazy. Tonight, my waitress is covering ten tables including some big groups. So the service is terrible despite the best efforts of the servers. Our first experience at Fiorentino's and we weren't blown away. The food is edible, but nothing above and beyond. For an Italian restaurant the sauce was very watery and lacking of taste. The chicken Parmesan looked/tasted like frozen breaded patties that were heated. We sat out on the patio and while the view of the airport was different there are many things that obstruct the view. My son and I ate there tonight and I ordered the Gorgonzola Burger which I love! I Ordered it Medium and it came out well done and burnt and crispy on the outside. Sent it back and it came out perfect in the middle but still burnt on the outside. It was drenched in balsamic and Gorgonzola cheese with underdone bacon. Way too salty and I love salt. This year was our first time attending the Fire & Ice Festival so we had no idea how difficult it would be to find a place to eat dinner in Lititz. We finally decided to leave and head to this place on our friend's advice. Let me just tell ya, if you're not a local, finding this place is tricky, its actually in a small airport and even here there was a wait. About 30 minutes after arriving we were seated at a high top table near the bar, we had plenty of time to peruse the menu so we ordered immediately. Hubby I both got the Shrimp & Crab Alfredo which was non-traditional yet very good, they add Old Bay to the sauce to give it an extra kick, between the starter salad and the pasta we were full to the gills. I came for lunch today with a friend we flew in. They were very busy but the wait was not to bad. The wait staff was very young but did a good job for us. This was the first time since the new management. I was disappointed to see the muffuletta was gone, it was my favorite sandwich. I ordered the Italian Sub instead. A couple of things that could use improvement. If there was oil and vinegar on it I couldn't taste it. The sandwich was bit dry. I also asked for crushed red peppers on the side. The waitress came back with chopped Jalapenos which worked but really were not appropriate. The crushed peppers are a staple at any shop serving subs, you need to have them. They have a way to go to be up to the previous owners level. I am sure they will get there. Overall it was nice and we will of course come back again. read more

When arriving this place was pretty packed, I was worried about how long it would take since the plan was a movie afterwards, but I was pretty impressed. We were seated within 10 minutes, which was great. When it came to our waitress, she was very friendly, kept drinks ful, checked in, and kept on top of everything. When it came to the food, this was brought out a lot faster than I had expected for as busy as they were, another plus. The food itself...it was pretty good. We had gotten the boneless wings, I was not a huge fan of the sauce, but they were cooked well, and still eatable. I had gotten the twisted mac n cheese which overall good flavor and I would get it again. The only slight downfall for me, I felt there was a lot more of the tomato/ bacon mixture compared to pasta. My boyfriend had gotten the chicken portofino which was a full portion, and a large amount. He said he really liked it, but the shrimp was very scarse. Contrary to some of the negative reviews of this place was great! We had Connor as a waiter and he was awesome! Very friendly professional and accommodating! Outside patio is where you want to be at and the views of the small airplanes taking off and landing Are just incredible! Brought my family but would probably be a cool place to impress impress a date or even small group of friends just hanging out in a chill vibe/ambience! We came at the best time in my personal opinion which is around sunset on a beautiful summer evening! The place is huge with two full bars and delicious cocktails! Being Italian I thought the food was fantastic!I was told us the owners are from Italy and the food has an American twist to it, we started off with fried calamari and it was delicious, perfectly fried! I goy the wings from me and my son and they were spot on! For dinner I got this shrimp and crab pasta dish and it was incredibly tasty! Date night special in Lititz. It's conveniently close to Penn Cinema Theater as well. If you like Italian this is a good choice. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. I enjoy the live music they have. The outside "Flight Deck" dining is nice in the spring and summer. My favorite menu items are the Cucumber Cooler and their spaghetti and meatballs. I usually get the A La Carte spaghetti and meatballs (it's a smaller serving). Their Orange Crush is really good as well. read more

We started getting back to that place. Kitchen did improve a lot since our last bad experience. Service is nice too. Good pasta, pizza, and decent risotto (a bit too much chicken everywhere). It is a nice place to grab food and drink, close to the movie theater. Could be very busy, so anticipate rush period or book! During summer there is the nice outdoor deck and during the day you can enjoy the show with the planes or choppers landing or taking off. Kids like it a lot. read more

The chicken parmigiana is a frozen chicken patty with fake mozzarella and a sauce that was made by chef boyardee. The owner of this place is a charlatan for calling this place Italian food. This is strictly a review of the 45 minutes I spent waiting. I made a reservation for a large party (6 people on a Friday night) week's in advance. I arrived a few minutes before my reservation and before the rest of my group. I checked in for my 8pm reservation. The hostess said my table would be ready in a few minutes. Fine. No problem. After 10 minutes I went back to the hostess stand. She said I need a few minutes to get your table ready. I asked if she meant 5-10 minutes. She said 15 minutes.. We're already a good 30 minutes past the reservation time. What was the point of even making a reservation or taking reservations? Fine. We wait some more. Eventually we got fed up and left. The hostess then had the nerve to say our reservation wasn't til 8:30. To make it worse the staff was rude. The hostess at no time acknowledged us. If they had been somewhat apologetic it would've been nice. Yes they were clearly busy and clearly had a full house BUT what is the point of taking reservations if they aren't going to be honored. read more

My review is for the bar, I usually sit there and have drinks and typical bar type food. The bartenders have always been awesome. The bar is a nice scene, definitely not a wild and hip place, but they play sports on the TVs and people talk about movies here, it's often fun and friendly enough that most people are outgoing. I really really like the drinks, my husband I have about three each and sit for a few hours. I love the Sophia Loren's (Long Island iced tea with limoncello) and they're pretty well stocked with choices for beers. It's a quieter, calming scene but I love it. The restaurant looks a little outdated in general but who knows, maybe one day they'll spice the place up, hopefully the awesome bar area stays the same and just as nice. read more

I had heard that KLNS had a restaurant, but I hadn't heard how good it was. This fully functional Italian gem is literally on the ramp! When I say fully functional, I mean that they actually have a full bar. Not that it did me any good since I just flew in to shoot the full VOR 8 approach and grab a quick bite (8 hours bottle to throttle). Being in the heart of Lancaster County I was expecting an Amish Diner. I had one of their signature pizzas. Great crust and the chicken had a Caribbean jerk quality to it with a nice bite. We have gone to Fiorentinos for years and have mostly been pleased. Tonight was another story. They were not extremely busy and had plenty of help standing around doing nothing. The server said she was new yet no one was giving her any help. After our main course came out luke warm and came out before the salads arrived and we couldn't find the server, one our our party walked to the hostess stand to ask for some help. She was basically blown off. Then she asked for a manager and this person said he was the manager and told her to sit down. Then he came over and brought some cheese and mumbled something. The whole time there were several people doing nothing but playing on their phones and even sitting on the floor. It was apparent that there was no REAL manager on duty. To cap things off, as we were leaving another customer was trying to pay her bill and her server was talking to people at a table. I went here recently with my wife for a family lunch. This place is in an odd location just inside the Lancaster Airport building. We had reservations for 2:00 PM, but the staff was about 15 minutes late getting us seated as I believe a prior group was using the room before us. While we waited, we were able to look around at some of the decor and information at the airport to bide our time. Once our room was cleared, the staff was very quick to get us in and seated and take our order. Once we were seated, our waiter brought us fresh bread with an oil and cheese based dip. This was a very nice start to an Italian meal! Their menu comprises of many traditional pasta dishes, and I very much appreciated an A La Carte portion which had smaller portion sizes for a very reasonable price. Often you get way too much pasta in a meal, and these seemed to be just the perfect size for lunch which some of her family ended up ordering. However, my wife and I rebelled against the pasta dishes and went for the flatbread pizzas. I had a spicy siracha buffalo chicken with jalapeno peppers and my wife had the meat lovers. Besides being a tad bit dry, it was delicious and spot on with portion size. Everyone enjoyed their meals and appreciated the friendly service from the staff. This is a solid three stars. I wouldn't mind coming back here for some right sized pasta portions for lunch sometime. The reason this isn't higher than 3 stars is that although the food is reasonably priced, it is not anything spectacular. Our room was a little late on the reservation and it didn't seem like it was cleaned up properly when we arrived as I think the staff was rushed to get us seated.
