My son and DIL took us to this wonderful restaurant last Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary. What a fantastic place! It's small, cozy and you can actually hear yourself think. Service was perfect and the place was very comfortable. We started with sharing the beet salad, the carpaccio and the prosciutto dishes. Each one was delicious. I would love to have the beet salad again all to myself! For the main, everyone's had a pasta dish. I had the tagliatelle dishes with salmon. The pasta is some of the best I have ever tasted. For dessert, we shared the panna cotta and the cannoli- both were perfect. Nice wine list too! Highly recommend Fiore Cafe and we will definitely be back. read more

Headed over for dinner with a friend at around their opening time of 5 pm on a Tuesday and we were one of the first tables there. The interior is so cozy and classy with the wooden fixtures and some deeper red brown hues. The menu is pretty specialized with their appetizers and mains. Focaccia - Some of the best starter focaccia I have ever gotten. It was so soft with a light crunchy outside and perfectly salty dipped in the olive oil mixture. I loved the addition of cheese and tomatoes in it as well making it similar to a pizza. Vongole al Vino Bianco - It was spicy and garlicky in this clear simple wine sauce. The clams themselves were big and juicy, sauteed very nicely and tomatoes always pair so well. It was so flavorful I would have dipped more bread into it. Tortelloni Allo Zafferano - It came out piping out, a good portion size and the saffron sauce was decadent and creamy. The ricotta prosciutto mixture inside was light and savory that balanced out the rich sauce. The flavors of the pasta were unique to other ones that I've had before. My friend says it is one of her favorite Italian places in the city and it is such a cute, intimate place for a nicer meal or date night! read more

My friend Carlos and I decided to meet for dinner, and I thought this would be an ideal place to catch up after a long absence since we actually were looking forward to hearing each other. Not a problem since there weren't any other customers for the entirety of our dining experience here. At the same time, it was concerning actually because we were wondering whether this was part of a longer term downward trend. Was there anything wrong about this place? Nope, the food was actually pretty well executed, and the space was certainly pleasant enough. Stayed overnight at a bed and breakfast nearby. It was my boyfriend, myself and my 90-year-old mom having dinner there. We ordered the Ravioli, spaghetti and salmon plates they were all so delicious. The ambiance was lovely & service was exceptional. His kindness even made it the best because my mom wanted a glass of warm milk. I had the opportunity to visit Fiore Caffe with my wife last night and we were extremely pleased with the quality, service and flavor of the food. Definitely an authentic ristorante Napoletano. We started with a delicious Mozzarella I Carrozza antipasti, which was delicious and finished with the Paccheri Al Ragú Napoletano, to die for and a light and flavorful Burrata Ravioli with olive oil, zucchini and roasted tomatoes. One of the best Italian restaurants in San Francisco! Great service, delicious and delicately cooked foods. I came here a few years ago and didn't have a chance to come back since the pandemic. So glad that the restaurant is still there with the same owner. We had salad, fried mozzarella, risotto, salmon pasta (homemade) with cream sauce, panna cottage and tiramisu. So yummy. Parking can be challenging, but we have been able to find it within one to two blocks from the restaurant. read more

Little reunion with my friends from my first year of working and this was the perfect spot to go. The food menu was clean and simple - few selection of starters, antipasti, entrees, and secondi. The drinks menu was a little more comprehensive with by the glass or bottle options of wine. I went in with high hopes and tried the spaghetti with olives and capers - genuinely my favorite way to eat spaghetti. Fortunately, this dish exceeded my expectations - the sauce was just the right balance of sweet and acidic, the pasta was near al dente, and the capers and olives brought such a magical addition to the dish. This place has the most comforting peaceful ambience. Great for a date night and the service was also nice. We ordered a whole bunch of pastas to share. Most pastas were alright but the standout was the Tortelloni. The stuffing was creamy yet light and the saffron sauce is by far one of the best I've ever had. I did not taste it, but everyone complimented the Brussel sprouts. They have art on the walls that are for sale, so if made the restaurant feel connected to the community. The waiter (I believe he was the owner actually) was nice, attentive, and patient. I would come again. However, there were a group of kids there that ended up cleaning the tables. Finally tried Fiore Caffe after passing it a few times through the Mission. Firstly, the atmosphere is great and we learned that the tables and a lot of woodwork was made by the owner! Secondly, the food felt very authentic. The homemade focaccia gets the meal started well. My husband and I had the smoked mozzarella and the prosciutto wrapped radicchio for antipasti, which are simple, balanced, and not too heavy before the main. The pastas dishes were super balanced, I loved the texture of the spaghetti. The husband had the Ragu, and of course we switched halfway. And the tomato sauce base for each dish is super fresh. Finally, we had the tiramisu for dessert which cannot be faulted in anyway. And I eat and make a lot of tiramisu! The minute we walked in the vibe was completely chaotic. They were clearly understaffed which we were sympathetic about but we didn't expect our experience to be as bizarre as it was. There was one man running around playing waiter/manager/host while the other two women working seemed confused and spoke in whispers. Everything we ordered was just simply not good. I would have given it 3 stars based on our last visit but I know it was an off night. We usually have dinner there once in a while. The staff is friendly and the food is very fresh and tasty. However, they do not organize the check-ins and reservations well. If they are busy, they do not check people in and people start waiting by the door. They then ask who is next. You can imagine how that goes from there. It ends up being a mess, where some people get seated 5 min after getting there and others have waited 45 min - and everyone has reservations. I think they need to work out their reservation system and have a sign up sheet when you get there or have the iPad/computer device they use work for checking people in on busy nights. Otherwise, they have a good selection of food and wine. The bread they give you when you sit down is great, and their flavors are all on point. read more

This place is a treasure. The food was excellent, we got the smoked MOZZARELLA IN CARROZZA which was excellent, plus two pastas. One was a special raviolo with beets, goat cheese and brown butter sage oil. Sounds like an odd combination but it was so good. The star of the show was the TORTELLONI ALLO ZAFFERANO. What a gorgeous dish, with a silky beautiful creamy saffron sauce. I would have eaten a bowl of it. The service is excellent, the owner is lovely, attentive and kind.
