Food was excellent and the portion size is enough for two. They had delicious lemonade and the drip coffee was good. They are friendly and service was excellent. We were able to sit outside. There were four tables and a few chairs at each one. The chairs were slightly uncomfortable but it's better than nothing. There was a nice mural on the wall. They have reduced price bagels towards the end of the day. My kids asked to return in the same week.

Got the Uahi Bagel Melt Sandwich: swiss cheese, smoked fish salad, tomato, red onion, and sprouts. It was a bit on the pricey side but it was solid and came overflowing with lots of fillings (especially the fish!). I just wish the fish had a more smokey flavor and could taste more of the everything bagel seasoning. Service was nice and there is parking but is limited (3 stalls).

Fin's Bagels has a couple of parking stalls and a few outdoor seating options. Service is quick and curt as they can get busy. I ordered the Fin's Bagels at Fin's Bagels- c'mon, it's their namesake! It comes with different options for cream cheese and fish, I got the ono fish and did a split of their furikake and tobiko limu cream cheeses. It's a densely packed bagel and filled with sprouts which makes it a well-balanced meal. Although the bagel texture was firm and doughy, the overall flavor profile was not as strong as I would have likely between the bagel and the fish.

Went looking for a good breakfast sandwich and came across this place and it did not disappoint! The brisket bagel sandwich was unreal, so good! There is not a lot of seating at this place and the seats are really hard but the food is so good!

Fin's is a quality bagel shop and one of the best on island, but the bagels are still just average. A little doughy and under-seasoned for my taste. And at $8 for just a bagel with cream cheese, they're a little pricey as well. Note that all of the bagels except the rainbow are flown in from NY, instead of being made fresh in house. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not, but I'll have to try the rainbow next time to see if it's any better. That said, the jalepeno cream cheese is truly outstanding! They slather on a heaping serving too if you're into that. I wiped most of mine off, but it's really good! Service is friendly and there is a nice little patio out front. Not much parking, but there are a couple spots. The Better Daze coffee hut just around the corner serves a small selection of big time bagels from the farmers market. I prefer those. If I could be difficult and match the big time bagel with the Fin's jalepeno cream cheese, I'd do it!

Good spot for when you're craving bagels. I've been to both Fin's locations in downtown and Kapahulu. Both locations have pretty bad parking unfortunately. I would highly recommend ordering online to avoid waiting as well. On a Saturday, we were quoted around 20 minutes for a walk in order of two bagels. So far I've tried the "Rise N' Shine," Kiawe smoked brisket, and the asiago bagel with lox cream cheese. Of the three, my favorite is the breakfast bagel. You can choose what flavor bagel (I got sesame), meat (I got bacon), and if you want an over medium or scrambled eggs (I got scrambled). It was pretty filling! They have a ton of yummy cream cheese bagels! If you want one, I would recommend ordering the cream cheese on the side, because the ratio is off if you order it on top. I felt bad wasting, but I had to scrape off a bunch of the cream cheese because it was a little too much for one bagel. With the limited bagels out there, Fin's is solid.

Cream cheeses: lox, banana caramel, tobiko & ogo and garlic!

We were gifted a dozen bagels and cream cheeses from Fin's bagels and they were so delicious!!! The bagels are chewy and flavorful! The spreads were delicious and a bit "bougie" coz who woulda thunk up a tobiko and ogo spread? The banana caramel is so good too! Looking forward to getting bagels from Fin's again!

Lox on raisin cinnamon

Omg the lox & bagels was soooo ono!!! Every ingredient and bagels were so fresh and delicious. How a bagel lox SHOULD taste! I enjoyed every last bite... FYI, bagels in general get harder as time goes by so always best to eat it at the moment you get them from Fins!!! There's only three parking stalls right in the front so good luck with that! Parking is just limited to begin with in Kapahulu area. Service was pleasant, quick and efficient over the phone. He accurately took my phone order over the phone and I appreciate him sooooo much for that! Nothing beats getting your take out order right 100% of the way through. 10/10 would go back again for the lox and bagels.

Raspberry matcha green tea cream cheese in asiago Weird combo but damn it's good!

Those of you bagel heads, this is the spot for you. Real NY bagels...you can read about how they get their bagels from NY on their store. Bagels - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Plenty of selections. Definitely got some interesting and custom flavors. The ones we tried were Nalani on everything bagel and the raspberry matcha on Asiago. Bagels were delicious. Fresh and high quality. The Nalani felt like a healthy breakfast - but still very good. The raspberry matcha tasted like a donut but with a bagel twist. If you like dessert or donuts, give it a try. If you like matcha, you may be disappointed that the matcha is overpowered by the raspberry. I'll have to try other ones on the menu. We'll be back!

Smoked fish salad on an everything bagel!

I'm a big fan of bagels and cream cheese. I feel like I could eat them in some form everyday. But good bagels are hard to find...especially in the islands. I was fortunate to stop at Fin's downtown and find my bagel....a Fin's bagel with salmon...on an everything bagel...yummo! After that visit, I made it my misson to visit all of the Fin's bagel locations to try all the goodness. It's early in my quest, but stopping in Kapahulu seemed like a moral imperitive. This location has a few 'pull-up' parking stalls so you can quickly park, order, and go. There's no seating inside, but they do have a few outdoor tables, which is convenient. The customer service here was just as the good as the food. They were happy, helpful, and made my experience wonderful. I was unsure of my next tasty purchase....do I buy the same bagel to see if it tasted the same...do I get something else? The nice people who work here could tell I was at the crossroads. I asked questions, mainly about the fish salad. They actually gave me a sample of it...and I was sold! I opted for a Fin's bagel with the smoked fish salad on it. It was just as stacked and stuffed as the downtown location, which is what I was looking for. This hefty bagel is not the most inexpensive sandwich, but it is very, very delicious. The fish salad added a lot...but became slightly reminiscent of a gourmet tuna salad sandwich...but a very amazing one. The intensity of the fish salad wanes slightly when stuffed in between the fresh produce and everything bagel, but is still a very well balanced and hearty helping of wonderful. I think next time, I will purchase the fish salad on it's own...for chip dipping....I feel like One-Ton chips would be perfect... I am looking forward to my next visit....to try the other fish combinations on the bagels. I'm getting hungry....

Finishing touches on the Fin bagel sandwich

"Messy, messy, messy... but gooood!" Fin's is located where Magoo's Pizza was located when they were revived a couple of years ago. They are within the first block of Winam ave, (Diamond Head side) where Winam and Kapahulu ave intersect. Hawaii has always had bagel shops but within the last couple of years "specialty" bagel shops featuring delicious bagel sandwich variations have blossomed in Hawaii. There is do much more to life than a plain The bagel offerings are quite good and generous with the filling quantity. There is some parking in the front but street parking maybe a useful option. The staff is friendly and efficient- issues with them. When in the mood for bagels, a viable consideration.

Everything with Tobiko lime

Cute little place. With some seating outside and 30min parking in the front. There is a cool vibe with the open baskets of bagels and the grab your own drinks. There's also nitro drinks on tap and a serve your own water stand. You can grab some cream cheese smears to go too......9.95 for a half pound. Everything looks so appetizing. Be aware there is no bathroom though....if you decide to sit and chow down on your freshly toasted bagel. We tried the Asiago with the lox cream cheese and the everything with the tobiko lime. It was good. Definitely a unique flavor. It seems sweet - which I'm not sure I understood. The everything bagel had barely any topping but the flavor from the cream cheese carried it. They are not shy with the schmear! The ladies working were "cool" - almost like they were trying to not look annoyed to be taking your order or making your food. I'm giving it a pass as maybe I'm just an old lady who was hangry...so I'll interpret better next time. We will be back the next time a bagel or cream cheese craving hits.

The Bri ($17.95) on an everything bagel.

Since we had an amazing locally made bagel recently, we wanted to try another bagel shop. Luckily it wasn't far from where we currently were, as we moseyed on over just around the corner to find Fin's Bagels. Another cute little shop in Kapahulu! We were super lucky to grab one of the three parking stalls directly in front of the shop. I noted that there is a 30 minute limit to park there. They were quite busy with a decent line out the door! They had some specials posted on a board in the front which we inspected while waiting to make our order. When we got to the front we asked the cashier about the pricing for the specials and decided to try: The Bri Bagel ($17.95 on an everything bagel) Pumpkin w/cream cheese ($7.95) Blueberry bagel ($3.25) Asiago cheese bagel ($3.25) 4 oz. plain cream cheese on the side ($3.70) There were many orders ahead of ours so we figured it would be a while. There is a small outdoor seating area between the parking stalls and building so we grabbed a table and chatted while waiting. As we waited, we observed another couple eating a bagel that looked yummy too... found out it was the Avocado Bagel, which was the other special listed. They were eating it open faced, so not sure if they ordered it a particular way or not, but it was the perfect size to share as it was loaded. Our order was ready and one of the workers brought it to us nicely packed in a to-go bag. Surprisingly, it took less than 15 minutes from ordering to hand off, which is pretty impressive. Our bagel was loaded as well, but cut in half down the middle. The dill really bumped up the rich flavors of this savory bagel. Super yummy and filling! The pumpkin bagel was toasted and served with a generous slab of cream cheese.. I love pumpkin and it hit the spot.

This place was just two blocks away, so we braved the November misty rain and consistent wind through the buildings to make it over here. To be fair, this seemed more like a Vietnamese coffee joint and a Banh Mi place... so maybe coming here for pho wasn't our best idea. They had two kinds available that night-- beef and chicken. Since chicken pho is not something I'm willing to try, we both ordered up the dac biet. The broth was bland with a thin and unpleasant veil of grease along the top that congealed quickly on the rim of the bowl. It wasn't hot enough, or maybe the pre-cooked and chilled noodle block they poured it over cooled it off. Meat was chewy and low quality. The sprouts and basil were soggy and wilted. Honestly, it was a get up and leave kind of thing. The whole place was just dingy and didn't feel great. For some reason, I totally forgot that good acai could be found in Hawaii!! Hello!! Its not just the fresh fish ya'll I walked here and there was still a line by 7, and even longer one when I went the next day, but it does move quite fast, especially with some of the workers letting people know they have a sit down resturant next door so just food for thought if you want more actual food options! As it stands they have quite an extensive list of juice, coffee, acai. I decided to go with a more basic route but instead subbing my fruit for what was in season which was mango, lilikoi and lychee. You order at the front and they call your number. They have some seating around as well but if you're at the hawaiian center you can just sit downstairs. The fruit alone was out of this world. I was actually so focused on that I wasn't even thinking about if the acai was good which I think it was! It comes out rather creamy, not frozen or icy. The price is a little steeper than what I've had in the past but honestly the fresh fruit alone made it extremely worth it. A regular sized bowl was quite filling! I came back the next day and it was still just as good. I know some people probably prefer different locations than others but I can rep this one for sure.
