Been driving past this place for months wanting to try and today I finally got to. First thing when you walk in, the environment is fun and friendly from the classic Mario wall to the staff. I will say the staff wasn't very helpful when it came to finding something to eat, but we seemed to be able to figure it out and find something great anyway. Decided on the Filly Ray Cyrus which did not disappoint. The only thing I have to complain on is the meat was just slightly on the dry side and the wait was a little long for how dead they were when we came in, but honestly would come back again. read more

We were in town and found this place on Yelp. The atmosphere is awesome! As a child who grew up in the 90's, I loved the music. Would be a great place to take the kids for a casual dinner. I ordered the California Love and my husband had the steak and cheese. Both were pretty good! The only reason for not giving it 5 Stars was because I thought the steak and cheese was a little bland. Ordered filly with onion rings, got fries instead. Waitress was very accomodating, said I would get my rings free, and I did, 30 minutes and 2 remiders later. Dining room is very, very loud with games and kids running around. I have kids too but they really are just a small chuck e cheese. Food quantity not worth the money. read more

I was in this restaurant today on the "bar" side at 1:05. Every table in the place except for two were dirty and no on was attempting to clean them. The ones that weren't were already reserved, I guess, because they had the little number markers on them. I didn't have a number marker because I had stood for 5 minutes in front of an empty register, while the only person who may or may not have been working carried on what appeared to be a personal conversation with a couple at the bar. When I smiled at her, instead of a welcome to Filly's, she just looked away and continued to talk. The bar was also covered in to go boxes, half empty beer glasses and, oddly, children's coloring pages. Not two seats together in the whole place. There were several children running around and no one appeared to be supervising them. They were climbing on the bar stools and opening and closing the front door and being nosy as kids generally are. I have been here before and the food is good, but today's experience will make any future visit unlikely. I don't generally complain and when I do, it is in person. Hard to do today unless I had just begun to shout to the non-existent staff wherever they were. read more

A nice addition to the Gallatin square, and it is very Gallatin indeed. We have a hard time moving away from sandwiches/burgers and fries in this town, but since Filly's fits the bill it may actually survive in this prime corner spot. A 90s themed burger/sandwich spot that serves multiple takes on the classic Philly sandwiches. They also have cold sandwiches, and a grass fed burger option from a local farm (kudos for supporting other locals!). Their fries are interesting, not quite curly but also not French cut. However they are a two dollar up charge, and with my Filly Ray Cyrus (steak or chicken, grilled onions, bbq sauce and choice of cheese on a ~12 in bun), it seemed a bit much seeing that I got 10 fries (they are fairly large but I'd expect a few more for paying $2). My boyfriend got the GOOD burger (they didn't have the grass fed beef :( ) and was very satisfied. The total for the two sandwiches, two fry upgrades and two drinks was about $28. Filly's also has pool tables (one is not flat so the balls roll to one side, it's also placed way too close to dining tables), arcade games, and a large seating area. They have bingo nights and live music during the week. I love the revival of the town square, and I feel that filly's will do well. read more

I will be surprised if this restaurant makes it. When on a Saturday night about 7 730 and maybe for tables were filled. I ordered a Reuben but fry bread was not on the menu. I got it on Texas toast and I asked for the 1000 island dressing on the side. What came out was Italian dressing and the waitress kept insisting it was Thousand Island dressing. The fries were very interesting and would have been good if they where warm. Same thing for the onion rings. Out of the four people at my table, one sandwich was good. Go back there again? Doubtful. Think they'll survive? Probably not. read more

The food was great, and the fries were unique!! Loved the fries. The filly sub could have had kore flavor but everything else in the restaurant renewed this baby issue.
