The most disappointing thing is I kindly shared this with the owner and he said he'd do anything for anyone but they "can't predict" Well... then why quote a time at all? If we'd been told an hour wait we'd have just ordered to go. It would have been nice to "throw me a bone". Offer a free app, or a drink, 10% off. It would have cost $7 and now you've got a bummed out customer posting a poor review. The food was only ok. The fish and chips were ok, not much flavor, the snapper was tough/ kind of rubbery and no flavor. The catfish was quite good though. The meal itself took quite a long time. We were there for almost 2 hours before getting our food. And we're a party of 3. I will say, staff is lovely, the Hostess, the bartender and our sever were all kind. Running a restaurant is tough, but I think placate a frustrated customer with a dessert, it doesn't cost you that much, and this review would have been much different. I'd come back for a drink and apps to go and enjoy out back. Don't come in a busy night, they clearly don't seem to know how to handle the pace.

I was then informed that if I wanted food, I would need to return to the other side of the venue to place that order. As a paying customer, I found this interaction unnecessarily dismissive and unhelpful. My destination within the establishment should not determine whether a staff member is willing to serve me. The service throughout the evening was disappointing. The bartenders appeared overwhelmed, unfriendly, and unwilling to provide basic customer service. While the venue itself has great potential, the lack of professionalism and customer care left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I do not plan to return.
