The bar is very big and is surrounded by high tops and pool tables. There is also a darts section and a small stage. They have live music on the weekends starting at 9:30. Unfortunately we didn't stick around long enough to see that. Jane the bartender was the best. She was a straight shooter and super personable. She remembered our names and she saw it was our first time there. Drinks were reasonably priced and they serve bushwhackers! I did noot try the food but the menu had a lot of choices.

Really friendly people, got that southern hospitality, for sure. I ordered a sun cruiser, I felt so bad the sweetest bartender Nikki, was digging down in her ice to find me a cold one. Most bartenders I've come across these days would just plop a warm drink in front of you. She apologized for not any cold ones and offered me a cup of ice, that I happily accepted. They karaoke, DJ's, live bands on the weekend and an Ami jukebox you can control from your phone. Some great bar snacks too!! She was so helpful and just the sweetest. A guy approached us trying to converse when we were really just trying to talk to each other (he was harmless), but Bethany still kept an eye on us to make sure we were okay, which made me feel really safe. The decor inside was nice: large leather booths and very interesting art. I loved the beaver Mona Lisa at the back entrance (or at least I think it's a beaver lol). Maybe it was a little empty because of the day/time, but it was nice to be able to have a conversation with my friend without having to scream over a ton of people or loud music. They do have live music on certain days if you like that kind of thing, but Sunday was super chill. There's also a QR code on the tables that leads to a menu for the food truck parked outside. They bring the food right to you, so it's very convenient to have a snack while you're drinking. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I'm glad I no longer have to drive 30 minutes and pay $30 for parking just to have a drink.

Players is sort of hidden away from the main eye of folks in Bellevue and is located a block off of Highway 70 on Old Harding Road. It sits in an old shopping plaza with a few other local spots. Parking is plentiful, but can get tricky when the night gets late and the folks of Bellevue get thirsty! I will say that this spot is not for everyone, but I did enjoy seeing the variety of folks around the bar and on the pool tables. If you are looking for a chill local dive, then Players has you covered. Service was decent, they seem to be a little sassier with the new comers, but what local bar isn't? The pool tables are in good shape and they have live music and trivia through out the week. My only other gripes are the smoke smell and single person bathrooms. They have the outdoors enclosed right now and it leads right into the main area, but hopefully in the better weather months this will be less of an issue. Overall, Players is a decent spot. I have a feeling that we will be coming here more for carry out pizza than pool, but whatever works!

There are enough TVs to watch every game and sporting event you could possibly want, so there's never a bad seat in the house. The staff is tremendous, and owners Tim and Angie are two of the most humble, hardworking people you'll ever meet. The bartenders, including Savanna, Natalie, Jack, and B-Mack, are fantastic, and everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Pooky Jane's also hosts charity events and live entertainment, which shows how much they care about the community. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, the atmosphere is fun and safe, and you couldn't ask for a better place to spend your evenings. Whether you're looking to catch the game, sing karaoke, enjoy live music, or just hang out with great people, this place has it all. Five stars all the way. This is the kind of place every town wishes it had.
