Drove about an hour (in traffic) from Franklin to check out Gallatin and Filly's. Filly's is a nice cozy place with great food and a nice selection of craft beers. I loved the Scottish ale. Our group tried the Reuben, Filly, Fat Filly, French dip, chili cheese fries and regular fries. Everyone loved their food and an extra star for the fabulous French fries. Not sure how they make their fries it they are among the best we've ever had. Not soggy or oily, and "light" compared to steak fries. Highly recommend you try this place! read more

Best cheesesteak around. We also ordered loaded fries which were devoured before I had a chance to snap a picture. The meat on the cheesesteak melted in our mouth and the full size sub was perfect for two to split! I was pleasantly surprised by their beer list and enjoyed a nice, local sour beer. Sub par, vastly overpriced bar food. We heard that they changed ownership so we wanted to go support a local business. If you're going here for food, bring your 2nd mortgage with you. 2 half sandwiches and 2 sides cost us $50!!! If I'm paying that much, the food had better be worth it.... Each dish we got came with chips. Fried and over salted, we couldn't eat them. Our onion rings tasted the exact same as the chips, and they were also over salted. Who puts salt on onion rings?! The one thing that should've been salted, our pretzel bites, weren't salted at all so they were bland. Everything tasted the same, like they were run through the same fryer, and cooked on the same surface. Yet another mediocre restaurant in Gallatin. read more

I usually absolutely love this place. Today; not so much. I got a small cheesesteak and fries and it was horrible!! The sandwich was so greasy it soaked through the paper and bread fell apart. In addition, there was about half of the amount of steak that it normally has (not that mattered because it was gross), was very fatty and over loaded with onions. Each bite was like a mouth full of onion and grease. The fries weren't hot and tasted like old grease where they hadn't changed the fryer oil in a while. I tried to dab out the grease from the sandwich, but it was still incredibly greasy. I ate about half the sandwich and 3 or 4 fries and tossed it. Such a waste of money. I was going to send it back, but didn't feel like waiting as there were 3 or 4 ppl in line. Wont be back. Paid $13, including tip, for a horrible sandwhich that left me with nothing more than stomachache from all the grease. The woman (long straight blonde hair pulled back) that works the register was super nice and always is. Five stars for her. One star (zero if there was an option) for the food and two stars for the atmosphere because the side with the games was a disaster, the bathroom needed attention, and there were 3 young guys playing pool yelling obscenities REALLY LOUD every 30 seconds when they missed a shot. There were 3 little kids that could hear it and staff did nothing about it. Not sure if staff didn't hear then, or didn't care. Overall all experience was horrible and we wont be back. read more

Cool little place with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food is okay but not great. It's basically typical bar fare and all seems to be reheated, prepackaged food service food. The burgers are obviously not fresh ground, hand formed patties. More like thin hockey pucks that were thawed out and thrown on a grill. The onion rings look like what comes out of the grocery store frozen foods section. Filly's is okay for a quick bite. They do have a good selection of beers. But for almost $40 for two burgers with onion rings I was expecting more. There are definitely better choices in the area. read more

Awesome pretzel bites and fries. My husband got the good burger and really liked it as well! I had their daily special sandwich: the thanksgiving sandwich. It wasn't that great. Our friend who lives in the area brought us here. It was crazy crowded & for most of the time they had music blasting so loudly you had to shout to talk to the people at your table. They only have beer- not hard alcohol. & they have one lone food item that doesn't have meat- an impossible burger. I was going to get that but when i asked the employee taking my order if she could verify if it is gluten free (I have celiac disease), she disappeared for a moment then comes back & says she doesn't think it is. So i pay for a salad that has meat but don't get the meat. There are 4 of us in our group & after 45 minutes we are wondering where our food is. You order at the counter & put the order number on your table. At one point an employee carrying 2 plates of food comes to our table to ask if this is our food (it wasn't). She then goes table to table with the 2 plates asking if its their food. Our food finally arrives & it's fine- nothing great but not bad. My friends would have gotten another round of drinks but you have to wait in line every time you order & it was always a wait. They had trivia going on so maybe that's why it was so crowded. First off, the restaurant itself when you walk in if full of Nostalgia, seeing the Super Mario artwork on the walls. In the room off to the side, there are plenty of games for the children (and adults) to play and have a good time. This is a order at the counter then have a seat type restaurant. After ordering, grab your drink, plastic ware, napkins, and then wait for your food. The wait was short the night we attended as they weren't super busy. The food came out hot and tasted great. I tried the special of the week, the Mis-Steak with Onion Rings, the wife had the Chicken Tenders with Sidewinder fries, and my little one had the Hot Dog. The steak was super tender and the horseradish mayo, was creamy and just spicy enough; the onion rings were nice and crispy; chicken tenders were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside; sidewinder fries were delicious and shaped perfectly to get a good scoop of ketchup; I was able to try the hot dog, but my daughter loved it read more

One side is like a normal restaurant. The other has a tiny stage with live music, a few tables, tons of games (ski ball, arcade, pool, etc) and even some couches. Went there today on my one hour lunch break (12-1pm). After waiting in line I was able to place my order about 12:10 to dine in. The girl working was very friendly. It was not busy as there were only 4 other tables occupied. Unfortunately, 12:50 rolled around and I still hadn't received my food. I had to go up front to ask for my order to go since my lunch hour was up. It took another 5 minutes to get me my order. When I went back to my office, there weren't any utensils and no ranch for my salad . Food was pretty good but I'm really hesitant to ever try it again. read more

They have a dining room and bar area and then a separate large room with tables video games game boards and even Nintendo, pool tables, and air hockey! The food is wonderful. You have to upgrade from chips to fries. You won't be disappointed with these works of art. The beer selection is great and the prices are just right. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing and my kids loved the grilled cheese! And right in line with all of those things is great service from fun servers! You have to try this place out. My wife and I drove an hour to try this eatery out. Heard great things. Stood in line for 25 minutes on a Sunday afternoon to get a french dip. Once getting to the register, was informed that they were out of rolls for their mainstay. Not impressed.
