The pork sandwich is big, juicy, full of flavor, amazing. But this place also has one of the best catfish sandwiches around. If you are hungry, get both! Prices are very reasonable and service is friendly. Take out is available, which is what we used yesterday. Some limited outside seating. The business is cash only, has always been that way. Ribs made fresh, place was constantly abuzz. We arrived after lunch rush around 1:30 and initially were told they were out of ribs and wouldn't have anymore until 4pm. They had some afterall and they were excellent. Meat fell right off the bone. I enjoyed the mac n cheese, though it was simple and didn't taste quite as homemade as the rest of the meal...Kraft was that you? BBQ sauce was vinegar based, so just be aware if that's not your style. It did upset my stomach later in the day. Could've also been from chugging the quart of water they serve you in mason jars. All in all, lunch was reasonably priced and good. Would be willing to go back and just get the BBQ BUT my absolute favorite part of lunch was the cherry cobbler dessert of the day. Hands done it was the best part of the meal and so stinkin good. Warm, fresh, with a scoop of real vanilla ice cream on the side, and a small scoop, so it didn't drown the cobbler. Had the pork platter with mac & cheese and baked beans. Pork was fine, but the sauce could be described as colored vinegar. There was macaroni, but not really any cheese other than whatever cheese water was at the bottom of the cup. I could fill a shot glass with it. Baked beans were overwhelming with onions, the first bite was more reminiscent of cucumber salad something else that tastes like raw onion.
