The Sunrise Pork Tendy with a side of Chicken & Rice soup was absolutely delicious. The soup is thick with smoked chicken, veggies, and jalapeño and Hatch chili peppers. Your sinuses will wake up and maybe a slight bead of sweat, but this soup is unlike any I've enjoyed...more flavorful and slaps you a bit with the kick of the Hatch peppers. While enjoying the soup I met the other half of the team who handles the cooking side of the business...Craig Dudinetz. I had started on the sandwich and told him how blown away I was...the tenderloin was so tender and perfectly seasoned. When you couple all of the layers of this open face sandwich...every bite was pure joy! This sandwich should be a part of their daily menu...it's that darn good! I got The Standard burger this time, and it was great. On a whim I decided to try the Mac N Cheese, and woah!!!! I had no idea what a treat it was going to be. They use cheese sauce on the griddle as part of the preparation, rolling it up into an amazing mac n cheese burrito of amazingness! I also got a rack of ribs to take home, and they were delicious and plentiful. After enjoying half for dinner, there were enough leftovers to make a rib meat omelette the next day, and some rib sandwiches for lunch. I only wish they were closer to me. It is about a 45 minute or so drive each way for me, but it is sooooooo worth the drive. If they were down the street from me I would be there every day.

We got here at 5pm and there was already a line! They got us in quickly, but we barely made it for the prime rib, that's how popular it is! The food did not disappoint, the prime rib was amazing and the scalloped potatoes and broccoli salad were awesome. The restaurant is small, but the people are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes, just sign up for their newsletter so you know when they are open and what specials they have.

The vegetable tempura was a huge portion for an appetizer ($6.50) and I was full before even finishing it. The gyoza was delicious and so was the chicken yakisoba. The sushi rolls were very mediocre. They were small and not very flavorful. I've had better at the grocery store. Maybe it's because I ordered the cheaper rolls? I don't think we will do takeout again because of the styrofoam issue but we will definitely come back to enjoy their food inside.

Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen.
