The spice was definitely not for the faint hearted and paired so so well with the coleslaw which had a coconut dressing which made it so creamy and delicious. This new hot chicken place opened on the square. I popped in for lunch on Black Friday on lunch break. It wasn't very busy. The staff is super friendly. They give a bit of a discount to first responders in uniform, too. I had the medium hot tenders. You can choose how hot you want it. It had a little kick. The tenders are pretty large. The potato salad was delicious and my friend also got baked beans and said they were also very good. These tenders ranked up there with some of the best I've had. Just passing through Lebanon and found this gem on yelp. I can honestly say this was the BEST chicken I've ever had. Don't usually eat fried chicken, but I am not sorry. I got medium spicy and it was just the right amount to tickle my tastebuds but not overwhelm them. I wish I had gotten more; I only got the leg and thigh, but I easily could've doubled that. I'm glad to finally have an option here in Lebanon for Hot Chicken. I always measure a chicken place on the breast quarter. If they can cook it correctly without making it dry then they're going to get the rest of the menu right. These guys gave me a breast that was cooked properly. We're new in town and decided to stop here after a movie and it's a pretty good restaurant. The place was clean and it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday afternoon. The employees were really nice and helpful and brought our food out once it was done. The wings were well seasoned and flavorful. My husband finished his sandwich so I'm assuming it was good for him I didn't even ask lol. The potato salad wasnt bad they actually use mustard which is what I'm used to most places only use mayo which I don't really like. And if you find yourself at somebody who needs to stay away from either fried foods or just in general like me don't care too much for heavy breading, I recommend trying the grilled chicken option with the heat. It is absolutely outstanding and is not just a unbreaded fried dried out chicken tender. When it comes to heat levels this place definitely doesn't play. But it seems like they have great options for both the touristy not used to heavy heat as well as heat levels that will absolutely have you begging the question " why did I do that" because of how extraordinarily hot it is. While a better lunch than most of the area fast food joints, the hot chicken tenders just weren't up to par with their bigger competitors in the hot chicken game. For starters, their sauce needs some work. The flavor just wasn't there. The potato salad was ok. The restaurant was relatively clean, and the service was ok. The joint had a weird smell, hit as soon as I walked in the door. I almost walked right back out, but I stuck it out to try the food. Maybe an isolated incident, maybe it's an old building. Lebanon had really been missing good hot chicken and BJs delivers so well. I had a six piece tender meal and split between medium hot and their hottest. I loved the hottest... though I don't recommend it unless you're a spice fiend like me and have a lot of napkins to deal with your runny nose. I had their greens and coleslaw as my sides and I could eat a whole meal just if their collard greens. My husband had the quarter chicken with potato salad and really enjoyed it. Sides were mac and cheese. The chicken was excellent! Well fresh, prepared, and flavorful. Seasoning was perfect. My wife enjoyed hers an my mild chicken fingers delivered a perfect amount of spiciness. I might step it up to 'medium' next time.
