Just opened this summer, Wingman has fried chicken, fish, onion rings, burgers and more. The chef had just come to TN from culinary training overseas, and is really elevating the deliciousness of this little place. Last month, they were serving frozen onion rings (which are terrible), but on this day, Chef K hand dipped and fried fresh onion rings and finished with house special seasoning salt. These are some of the best fresh made onion rings in a 30 mile radius. . I got some wings and rings for dinner. They have a wide range of hot chicken options from mild to extra hot. For spicy eaters, get the extra hot, as they will say the medium is really quite mild. I got hot, and for Nashville hot standards, it is mild where the hot is a flavor and will not make you sweat. . I got some dipping sauce to try, and it is a house made hot honey on recommendation of another patron. So so so good! I would recommend the hot honey for the chicken and fish. . Note, the business is set to the back of the parking lot and is difficult to see from the street. Just trust your GPS/Google Maps to get you there. There is a lot of parking. There are only 3 seats in this place, so the best option is to get takeout.

Medium tenders- next time I'm getting a spice level up!

Good fresh tenders and fries! Drive thru very convenient because I did not want to get out in this weather. Waited at the window for about 10 minutes as they prepared my food. A bit on the oilier side but other than that no complaints! I will be back forsure

I got a steak hummus plate. I believe delicious I'll be back. Pretty pricey for sure, but the quality is there to back it up. I think with my tip that plate was $31. Yummy though I don't think I can afford to go there as much as I would like to however, I'll definitely be back.

The waitress was lack luster in personality, we sat down asked for hummus and the young guy with long hair on staff said they didn't have change for a $20 so a 7.99 hummus turned into a 20 dollar bill when he never brought back the $5 my friend said just to bring back as a tip. Then my mom's hummus lamb plate had a clump of hair in the hummus. The staff, "would you like us to remake it or a refund" no I'm sorry not anything to remedy the situation. Between the 5 of us with to go plates was nearly $130 ish. I'm so disappointed and know the owner would be upset with how his staff handled this. My chicken saaj bowl also was lack luster in flavor, I go to another Mediterranean place locally that is way way way more flavor. Hope the owner has a talk with his team about back of the kitchen etiquette so there isn't food in other people's food.

I woke up this morning and said to myself, "self, you need to have a good gyro today for lunch."…read more After polling my family and Yelp results, I found Sam's and I'm really glad that I did! No one was there on a Saturday around lunch time. We ordered from a pleasant fellow at the counter who quickly put our beef/lamb gyro sandwiches together. Everything was super fresh. Our order of fries were fried to order. Two gyro sandwiches, one order of fries, and one beverage came out to $22 even. They'll take your card but a nearby sign says that they prefer cash. I didn't see anything about those dumb credit card fees, so hopefully that doesn't exist. The place seemed quite clean. No concerns there. There are several tables for dine-in. There is no outdoor seating. When we arrived, the pleasant fellow was jamming out to what I would describe as trendy Miami Beach hotel lobby music - a little bit dance club, a little bit ambient beats. He turned it down, but maybe should have turned it off. If it was left at the original volume, I'd have docked a star just for the hit to the already limited ambiance. The food was STELLAR. I commented to my favorite dining companion that we could come back for a gyro anytime. He agreed. The pita bread was toasted perfectly, the veggie components of the sandwiches were fresh and bright, the meat was pre-cut from the rotisserie but was perfect and plentiful. You'll have to eat some of the sandwich insides before you can fold it taco style and finish it, so grab a fork and dig in. The fries were those chunky style ones that were fried to crisp perfection and dusted with a seasoned salt of some sort. I did not check to see if the Heinz ketchup at the table is actually Heinz or if they are refilling the bottles (iykyk). The sandwich is plenty for lunch - you don't need fries or a side to get a filling meal. The location is easy enough to get in and out of for a quick escape if you order takeout. I did notice an advertisement for delivery, but it wasn't Uber Eats, Grubhub, or DoorDash. I'll be back! I do love a gyro but I plan to try the salads and platters. I hope you stop in and give it a try! Enjoy!

Food Amazing! Service Amazing!…read moreRestaurant is full. There wasn't really a wait, but it seemed that when one table finished, another group came in to fill the table. The lamb shank braising liquid was so so so good! Make sure you use your pita to sop up every last drop. The appetizer plate was so flavorful and fun to try all the different flavors and textures. The stuffed grape leaves - chef's kiss . . Pro tip, go here. Have a lovely meal. I honestly have never had a restaurant prepared meal that was even remotely prepared to this caliber of perfection! Alright here we go.... FOOD: We ordered WAY TOO MUCH, but we wanted to get a full understanding of what they were about, that and the pictures in the menu looked amazing. I always ask for suggestions when I'm trying something new.....And you can always tell when it's a knowledgeable, helpful and caring person by what they recommend....the 4 to 5 gentlemen who took care of us brought us an abundance of delicious and beautifully presented foods, including sides and specialties...we were blown away!! Service was beyond perfect....it really feels like you're hanging out with the family you always kinda wanted...lol! Above and beyond!!! Ambiance is comforting and relaxing not at all pretentious with plenty of room for large groups and families to enjoy together. I base a lot of my opinions about the overall quality of the restaurants that I review on the cleanliness of their restrooms....it's a "basic bottle line" that says everything you need to know about where you could potentially be eating and drinking by doing nothing more than taking a quick trip to the toilet. If it's a mess, LEAVE!! If it's kept up, well stocked and CLEAN, then hug the owner, tell your friends and family to eat there and write a good review because phenomenal places with pristine restrooms like Edessa are becoming a rarity, a thing of the past, a novelty in a new era of nasty, busted and gross establishments serving crap.... Try Edessa, you won't be disappointed!!

I ordered 2 gyro sandweech (spelt that way on purpose) and 1 white meat chicken sandweech (all had same toppings) with a side of white sauce and an herb sauce. I did a build your own, which allowed you to choose which toppings you wanted. I also got them toasted, but there is a name for the process that makes them toastier. Just ask for it to be extra toasty, they'll know what to do. My toppings: protein of choice, feta, lettuce, onion, tomato, Mediterranean ranch, black olives, rice, and tabbouleh! It looks small from the outside but, there is seating within for you to actually enjoy the experience of eating in. I must say I enjoyed the white chicken sandweech a lot more than the gyro. The chicken was seasoned so well to where it elevated the entire wrap. Will most definitely get the white meat chicken again. Gyro 4/5 Chicken 10/5 lol For all 3 wraps and the two side 2oz sauces, I paid $48. I guess I should've paid attention to the pricing, but it's devoured now. They do special deals on certain days for $9.99 which includes a drink. Monday: some sort of bowl and drink. Tuesday: sandweech, side of fries and drink. Go on a Tuesday! It's cheaper if a sandweech is what you want.

I am so glad that they did, otherwise we wouldn't have experienced the deliciousness that is Middle Eatz! This place is delicious! I am so happy that we stumbled upon it. First off, there are booths on one side and then more cozy-square-ish tables on the other side, and then more seating in the middle. There are beautiful portraits of various landscapes adorning the walls. The food has great choices (even some smashburgers because the owners are from the west coast) but the Yemeni cuisine is delicious! My partner ordered the chicken mendi, which was fall off the bone tender. The chicken flavored rice was delicious. I had a chicken plate with rice, and also ordered chicken and potato samboosa. Everything was wonderful, and the portions were generous. Service was great! I can't wait to go back to this wonderful gem. I overhead one of the owners saying he and his brothers own it, and their sons work there. It is a true family business.
