Quaint little restaurant that offers one of the freshest salad bar in town. Food was served in very generous portions. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. This place would be a perfect date or small celebratory meal.

The best. Food, ambience, service. Go through the buffet. It's delightful. Go there and eat. You'll love it.

Sammy's has a very friendly staff. The menu has an old school vibe, in a good way! If you live in Lebanon, you owe it to yourself to experience dining in this classic restaurant. I end up sitting in the bar area like 75% of the time I go there and I like it. Lots to see, closer to the salad bar, and comfy chairs! I always order a beef dish there...steak or prime rib and I'm always satisfied. My wife has had pork chop, fish, and last night tried a Sailor Wrap or something like that and enjoyed it. I would like to see a little restoration like the carpet, some freshened paint but that won't keep me away. Please give this gem a chance!

First time trying Sammy Bs , it was great. From the UGA to the Reuben it was all tasty. The building couldn't have been better. Old Victorian, haunted (just joking ) but has a rich history . The service was great as well .

Brought someone to Sammy Bs bc I'd been there once and had a great experience. (The tab/2: $100.) This night we were sat in the managers station and our service could not have been worse. We were not greeted with a smile but a snarl and a swipe at me. Waters we requested were forgotten and brought out after we asked repeatedly. When asked about the specials we were asked don't you know the menu? I ordered crab cakes with asparagus and was actually given burnt spears that were inedible. When asked to return them, she snatched them from our table without an apology and brought back perfect ones after I'd finished the meal. Isn't she supposed to be quality control? Didn't offer a to go box or offer a dessert choice. The best part of the night was the excellent wine choices and table side banter delivered by the incomparable James the long suffering and dapper bartender. His eloquent story of a patrons' painting of him that hangs near the bar was a hoot and a holler as well as the Sr. Queen of Wilson County sitting at the next table in full regalia complete with a sky high crown and sash. Almost perfect evening!

Sammy B's is located in a building formerly part of the Castle Heights Military Academy. The historical feel of the building is definitely the coolest part of eating here. Everything in this building, from the staircase to the bar, seems like it has stories to tell. We were seated at a table in the enclosed porch with a view of the grounds. Our waitress was really friendly and knew the menu (which is pretty big) well enough to give us some tips. The food was decent. If you're all the way out in Lebanon, this is a good choice.

Sweet potato woah It actually was delicious however when I first saw it I literally said " woah! " it was swimming in a pool of butter. I like the liveliness of this place, especially on a Friday night. The service was impeccable - good old southern hospitality.

Friendly, down-home type people. Food was excellent, as was the service! A great spur-of-the-moment decision to try this place.

Our bartender, Tarah, was fantastic--super sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She even brought out tartar sauce, ketchup, ranch, and their house sauce (which was fire). Major points for service! We ordered a few rounds of drinks and some food, and everything hit the spot. My husband's coworker and I got the po' boy slider baskets with tater tots, and my husband had the hot ham and cheese with fries. Not only was everything delicious, but both of us agreed--those po' boys were the best we've had outside of Louisiana! The vibe inside was laid-back with a definite sports bar feel, pool tables, and the other patrons were chill. We'll definitely be back!

It was lunchtime so off O went. So yes it's a bar. Yes it smells of cigarettes. But the food was amazing. This chicken wrap isn't listed on their menu, but they'll make it for you! Comes with tots, fries, or chips. Every soul in this place was super nice. They will chat with you. I may have to come back and hang out. They have pool tables, cold beer, a bar with specialty drinks, video games, and other activities. The place is huge too. The food portions are big. You probably won't be able to eat all of your meal here.

I asked two friends from the area where to hit when visiting Lebanon, and both immediately said…read moreDemos'. I enjoyed the old-school ambiance and service was very good, as they frequently checked on us. The provided bread was some of the best bread I've ever had with a meal (up there with Red Lobster's addicting biscuits), with a cheesy type of crust on it! The salmon dip appetizer tasted pretty good but there were some huge chunks taking up the bowl making it tough to grab with the tortilla chips. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails. The Spring menu Spiked Iced Green tea tasted good but only made up a third of a glass, making it more of a shot than a cocktail. And my Old Fashioned was pretty watery. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted fine though it could have used a bit more sauce for the vermicelli and the meatballs were very dry. My friends spoke very highly of their blackened chicken dishes though. I can see why Demos' is a middle TN staple though I would want to try something else and avoid the cocktails next time I visit.

The food was a bit hit or miss. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and while the chicken itself was cooked well and tasted good, the Alfredo wasn't my favorite. The noodles didn't seem like the right choice for an Alfredo dish, and the sauce didn't have the rich flavor I was expecting. I also tried the chicken and rice soup, which was decent but nothing that really stood out. The atmosphere was just average. It felt like some of the employees didn't really want to be there, which made the restaurant feel less welcoming. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but there are a few things that could be improved.

We're still fresh from our move and continuing to find local restaurants in the area. We've driven…read moreby Snow White Drive In many many times while exploring our new home area and this place is always busy! We decided to stop by around 5pm before they became too busy, which was a great idea. We sat ourselves inside and were greeted nicely by our waitress. Since this was our first time here, we went with a classic cheeseburger, mine with tots, husband with onion rings, I had a Coke Zero, and he had a butterfinger milkshake. We also ordered a side of okra and a mini bbq sandwich. I was amazed that a mini bbq sandwich was only $1.50! You can't find prices like that anywhere in restaurants these days! All "veggie sides" are $2.50 so I'll keep that in mind next time we visit since those prices aren't listed on the menu. The interior is run down and does need a good cleaning, especially the floors. It's a fun car-hop theme but needs a freshen-up for sure. The food came out SO quickly, less than 10 minutes. What I loved the most about the cheeseburger was that the onions, lettuce, pickles, and tomato were all fresh and crunchy, how it should be! My husband, who usually gives me his tomatoes because he doesn't like them, actually ate his! The okra was fine, not much spice to them and the bbq sandwich was dry and needed A1 sauce (provided on the table) which ended up being really good with it. The onion rings were perfect! The onion didn't come out of the breading like so many onion rings unfortunately do. The other nice thing we noticed is that the tipping portion was your choice of either $3, $6, or $9...none of that 15%, 20%, 25%, etc that we see so often. This made it a lot easier and less stressful. Overall, this is going to be our new "fast food" location now that I've sworn off of fast food chains, especially because you can order from your car at one of the stalls! Snow White Drive In also opens for breakfast at 5am, so we will definitely be there for that someday!

They get their meats from a local farm called Seven Cedars Buther Block which has a shop in the Lebanon Square. You can go in and eat or they offer Carhop service. Just pull up to the building and they come to your car and take your order then bring your food when it's ready and the food usually comes out quickly. It definitely has that hometown feeling with friendly staff and they have Hot Rod Car Shows on Saturday nights in the Summer-- Kid Rock has even done shows there before. They have a rotational Meat & 3 menu along with Baskets, Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches, Sides, Kids menu, Desserts and Handspun Milkshakes. Its gets busy during peak hours and they are closed on Sundays. It's a good little place to go for a Smashburger and Onion Rings or an awesome Pulled Pork Sandwich and that's what I get almost every time. Enjoy !!!
