Amazing as always. This is our go to spot in blue ridge and it never disappoints. Steak sandwiches was great. Fuji salad is light and refreshing but still feels like a hearty meal. Wings were super crispy and a good size. Sauce was great but I did have to ask for more since they were a little dry for my preference. House cut fries are the best. This place rocks!!

Good food and truly a tavern style experience. I personally loved the music. Our kids enjoyed the arcade. They warned us they were short on staff as many called out. However it didn't falter our experience we waited and our waitress was still attentive. Will be back again. My wife and I both had the club as we were in a hurry to make a train ride. I will admit amazing fries as it's been a while since I've had some good fries.

Hey hey friends!!! We stopped in to say hi (4/27) but "the boss gets Sunday off". Jack Daniel's burger was FIRE!!!!!!!! Tuukka says hi! See you again soon.

I love the food in blue ridge! I am not typically a burger person. However, I was very impressed with the burger selection and ordered the blackened blue burger. It was so tender and juicy. I really enjoyed it a lot. I was also a fan of the fresh and delicious fries. They were so good! The Mexican street corn was good as well. I am definitely a fan and would come back again!

Great option for dog friendly dining. We spent the morning at lake blue ridge and then came for lunch. They provided dog bowls and a treat. The kids meals were huge! The beer was cold and music was good.

I was in Blue Ridge with my family for the weekend and we were looking for a dinner spot. Fightingtown is pretty popular, so we had to put our name down and then wait about an hour so I recommend going and putting a name down as soon as possible! Once we were able to be seated, our staff was really attentive and food was served relatively quickly. I loved the music themed decor + menu. I wasn't particularly enthused by the local beer choices and ended up trying a local cider. We also ordered chips and salsa which was fresh and homemade. For dinner, I had the twisted taco special which was a mahi mahi taco that day! I had a side of elote with it as well. The taco and elote were actually so delicious!! They were bright and tangy and I devoured my dinner. Overall, Fightingtown is a decent spot in Blue Ridge, especially for a large family dinner.

It's a drive up place and is quaint, I generally like these kind of places as they were common when I lived in Arkansas and went to Oklahoma a lot. Clearly this place has a lot of good reviews so things are good here, just feel I maybe went on an off day.

The biscuit is made fresh. The toppings are pretty standard for fast food, but that isn't an issue for us. We've learned to share the tots as one bag is more than either of us wants alone. This is an inexpensive breakfast spot that we crave each trip to Blue Ridge. The shop is cute with mirrored diner siding. The walk up window and drive thru are always busy, but we've always gotten our food quickly. There are a few picnic tables out front by the parking spots, but this really is a grab-and-go restaurant.

The gal behind the counter was very prompt and courteous and answered my questions about options on the menu. There is a big stove across the bar so you can see some of the cooking that gets done. The only issue with that is the heat...I didn't want my frosty beer glass to warm up while I enjoyed one of their local brews. I'd rather sit away from the cooking action. I ordered the crab cakes which came with coleslaw. The crab cakes had a nice sauce decorating the top of each cake. I asked for more because the crab cakes were a bit more bread filled than crab filled. I know I am spoiled with west coast Dungeness crab as you get a lot of chunks and not well flaked blue crab, but I really was hoping for more crab than I got for the money. The coleslaw was just okay. It was a nice mayo based dressing but lacked a tangy/sweet combo that I just adore. I am not impressed enough to return.

Not only it was on my birthday in which we celebrated. But our excursion to the mountains for the long weekend was a fantastic time. For drinks, the Sweater Weather was the clear winner--well-balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The combination of Bulleit rye, La Pommiere Calvados, and sorghum created a smooth, seasonal cocktail with nice depth. The Properly Poached was decent but didn't quite impress in the same way; the Brugal Añejo, pear liqueur, dark wildflower honey, and pink salt made for an interesting profile, though it leaned a bit flat compared to the first cocktail. We started with the broiled sweet crab dip served fondue-style with pita chips, which was a great opener. It was warm, creamy, and rich, with good crab flavor that made it easy to keep going back for more. For entrées, the blackened mahi fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. The mango pico added a nice brightness, and the cilantro crema tied everything together nicely on the corn tortillas. The smash burger was another solid choice--juicy double patties with melted American cheese, crispy onion rings, house sauce, and house-made pickles that added a great tangy crunch. Service was ok waitress took a bit to bring the drinks and then the food took about 30+ minutes luckily we were entertained by talking to locals that we really weren't concerned. Overall, the restaurant delivers a pleasant upscale-casual dining experience with well-executed comfort favorites and creative cocktails. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the crab dip and the Sweater Weather cocktail and the fish tacos those were my overall favorites. Prices are mid range. Note that the restaurant as most restaurants in the Blue Ridge close early.

We started with the shrimp and scallop fondue, which sounded so much better than it tasted, and the toasted bread it's served with was heavily salted and not enjoyable. My friends had the ribeye and said it was mediocre. I had the shrimp biscuit and only ate a few bites. The BBQ sauce was heavily salted and not pleasant, and the cheddar cheese just seemed like it didn't belong. As a cheese lover, this is the first time in over 60 decades that I've actually removed the cheese from a dish. I took the leftovers with me since I hate wasting food and ate the biscuit with some butter and the shrimp by themselves the next day. It still wasn't very good, but at least I didn't waste it. On the plus side, the cinnamon rolls were absolute delicious and were a bargain at $8 for six! They were the highlight of our meal. We also enjoyed the creme brûlée very much. Since the restaurant is pricey and so many of the dishes were a disappointment, we all agreed that we probably won't return to give it another try. We don't want to risk spending that much money again on a not-so-great meal.
