A little on the pricier end for the type of food and what you're getting. The flavor was good, but nothing to make it stand out from any other restaurant. read more

Good mexican food. Really deserves 5 for being in moab. Carne asada and a side chimichanga. The carne asada was dry and I was a bit disappointed that this was the raved about carne asada. I mean seriously, when everyone else is saying this is the best carne asade they've ever had and it comes out looking like a burnt dish rag you lose a bit of faith. However, our waiter (Manuel), brought another steak out to me since he noticed mine was dry. I didn't even say anything and he came out with it. That's great service right there. read more

We haven't been too the southwest in ages so we had a craving for it when we cane ro Moab. Not exactly southwest but it seemed close enough. After finding all the other higher rates places either shuttered or closed on a Monday we went to the Family Fiesta. It was a big letdown. On the good side, the margaritas are tasty and have plenty of tequila. Unfortunately, they are way overpriced. The good is bland at best. I had a combo with enchilada, taco, and tamal. The chicken filling in the taco and enchilada had no flavor at all. The sauce on top was little better. I asked for some hot sauce which helped but good Mexican need to have more than just heat. My wife's mole was the creme de awful. Stay far away. There is some really good canned mole out there so there is no excuse for what showed up. It's like they took a mediocre canned mole, watered it so much it had no flavor then....then, added sugar! It almost tasted more like teriyaki sauce than mole. It's like they thought that surely nobody who showed up has had mole before and wouldn't notice. Two stars is probably generous give the mole but the margarita tasted good. read more

The food was good traditional Mexican. We had the Enchiladas Suiza and they were yummy. My son had the tacos and was hsppy. read more

Fiesta Mexicana - Chips and Salsa. 1 mild and 1 hot salsa. - Mexican Near Me - Moab, Utah

Outstanding and affordable Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is casual, clean and they keep the outside tables cool with a mist. The portions were large and delicious. The service was excellent. We had margaritas and they were great too. I highly recommend this place. read more

Fiesta Mexicana - Just 1/2 my Navajo Taco. It was fantastic! - Mexican Near Me - Moab, Utah

Food was OK. Margaritas were huge and the best part of the meal. Service was okay too.

Good customer service, drinks are pretty good and tasty, combo meals are great, fajitas could be better though, prices are ok not too bad.

Ridiculously over priced, you can eat almost anywhere in town for half the cost. Food was ok but definitely not worth the money.

I have had a hard time finding good Mexican food that is better than the stuff I can make at home. This place put together a good fajitas for vegetarians with a great mix of veggies. The free chips & salsa are super with a nice amount of heat. The wait staff could be bit more friendly. Friends ordered the burritos & they are huge. We biked all day & they couldn't finish them. Two meals for sure, I have never seen so much food on a plate. read more

Way over priced for the quality of the food the vibes are good and they serve the food fast but it's bland would not recommend

SKIP! I ate here with my husband and our two-year old daughter on a Sunday afternoon. Food: The chips and salsa served gratis was possibly the shining star of the show. It surely got our hopes high. We ordered the veggie combo (enchilada and burritos), veggie chalupa, a side of fries, and a pineapple juice for the baby. The fries were fresh and the juice (probably from a bottle) was good. But the rest of the food was completely passable. Everything was over salted because all the veggie dishes consisted of the same pinto beans. Not good! The veggie combo was served with mexican rice (OK), beans (very salty), and a salad (questionable purple cabbage slaw, which was tasteless) - no sour cream or salsa or guacamole accompanied the dish. However, the chalupa was the worst - the shell reeked of stale oil. We took one bite and put the plate away. Pretty disgusting. Ambiance: Cute southwestern decor which I liked. Service: OK. The people were friendly and polite, and we were seated promptly. However, even when the servers saw our food was mostly uneaten, they did not bother to ask why. Hmm...maybe they already knew the answer? Value for money: None. I'd eat somewhere else. read more

Nothing special here Sub par food and service. We ordered two meals. Queso fundito was a plate of grease. Was not edible! When I said I didn't want it the waiter looked ate as if I was crazy for not wanting to eat grease soup masked as cheese. We also ordered the enchilada de la fiesta. It was okay. Edible and okay. There are so many options...choose something else. read more

AMAZING!! I am very impressed. I am one to pay close attention to cleanliness, service, and how much time passes before I get my food. 10/10 on all those things. To top it off, the food was SO GOOD! read more

It's ok. Just ok. The chips and salsa are very bland. No flavor. Tastes like nothing remotely authentic nor special. I had a chicken tostada. It was very bland, no flavor. And looked very basic. My husband had the grilled chicken tostada. Again minimal flavor. Lettuce and light. Just ok. No flavor. Margaritas had a nice balance to them but light on the alcohol. In defense, the service was very good. Attentive but not pushy. Bottom line... I've had better. Much better. read more

The food was good, but more importantly, they had no problem accommodating us when I had a request. We initially got seated in a booth that had poor lighting. I flagged down the first employee that walked by and asked if we could move to a booth by the window. Without hesitation that employee moved us to a window table. I understand that we may have moved from one section to another server's section, but everyone was professional in the way they dealt with us. They kept our drinks filled and did multiple table visits. Over great experience! read more

Went to El Charro yesterday and this place today to see which was better. For starters El Charro does not serve alcohol and their ratings are much higher than Fiesta. El Charro had good food but Fiesta blew them out of the water with their delicious salsa and amazing margaritas. The staff was on top of it and we never ran out of salsa or chips once. We had a party of four and everyone was highly satisfied with this place. They all agreed Fiesta was way better than Charro. Not sure how Charro has so many good reviews when it's more of a hole in the wall. This place is authentic and the decorations make you feel like you're in little Mexico. I highly recommend this place for their enchiladas or really anything on the menu. read more

Service was eh, food was inconsistent. First impression was DIRTY!! The place is dirty. The people were all very nice though and they do somehow even in a state of the worst liquor laws everywhere, have a mean Margarita. First time I went my chicken was totally different than the second time. I ordered the same thing and you would not even have known. While the second time the food was fabulous, the service still lagged....it must be a Moab thing.... read more

Gotta go with the three star. A woman in a local store recommended it, so I expecting better, since its a little out of the bustle of downtown, but meh. They do have some traditional stuff on the menu, so it is not just burritos and tacos. The margarita was so-so, a little tart. However, the salsa they serve with the chips at the beginning is to die for, hot and tasty! I had a basic chicken and vegetables dish, which was fine, if a little blander than I expected. Service was adequate. read more

This was a fantastic meal. The service was excellent. There was no waiting. Prompt with order. Margaritas were grande. The pollo boracho was excellent, with lots of chicken, scant on mushrooms but excellent for someone who suffers from gerd. read more

Excellent!! Had a combo plate and it was huge! Great location, friendly service & bomb -authentic- mexican grub!

This was our first time. The servers were nice, food came quickly. Large portions, super hot, great menu selection. The hot salsa had a kick. Only downside was no green chili. Overall a very nice experience. read more

So good. Everything was perfect. We were seated quickly. The service was fast and friendly. Our margaritas were very tasty. Large menu and everything looked delicious. I ordered the enchiladas and really enjoyed my meal. My husband cleaned his plate. We left full and satisfied. Great job. read more

One of the better Mexican restaurants in Moab. I had the carne asada which many Yelpers said was the best. I found it a bit tough, though nicely seasoned and cooked well. little guac on side, good salsa, bagged chips. Why does everyone serve bagged chips in this town? Kind of like a non-corporate Acapulco chain. Little better. Not much. Service was fast, helpful, and professional. Hear they have the best margarita in town. Want to dig deeper on the menu and see what else they have to offer. 4 stars due to my experience at another Mex joint in town that was bad. Prob a 2 or 3 in SoCal. I really like mexican food and this satisfies that hunger. read more

Service: Service was good. Keep our drinks full and was there when we needed them to be. Price: The price was high, but that may be because of location. Food: Food was pretty good, but I've definitely had better. Ordered quesadillas but were told we couldn't put strip steak in them even though we had it in other dishes?? The tortillas were slightly undercooked. The chips came in a tiny bowl requiring us to ask for multiple refills. Overall it was OK, but I wouldn't go back. read more

We are in Moab for the holidays and many restaurants are closed...which I now think is a blessing because it brought us to Fiesta Mexicana. We loved it. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband the pollo mole, both were great, but what really made our meal was the sweet server and excellent salsa. read more

Ate here for dinner on our first night in Moab. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We both ordered the house margarita on the rocks and mole chicken enchiladas. Everything tasted amazing and definitely met our expectations! I would love to come back here again if we ever make it to Moab. read more

I'm not really a fan of Mexican food however when some friends and I were walking around Moab looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening which didn't have a 45-60 minute wait we were happy to find this place had open tables. I was also happy that in addition to a wide variety of Mexican food I was happy to see that they also have a burger combo for kids and Gringo's. That's what I got and it wasn't bad. My friends who ordered Mexican food were all happy with what they got and their portions are huge! Servers were friendly and the service was quick which was another bonus! read more

A terrific casual Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Moab. My dining companion and I ate here twice during our five day stay in Moab -- the first night, upon our arrival after a long drive from Capitol Reef Natl Park, and the last night, after two "meh" dining experiences at other establishments in Moab. The first time, the food and margaritas were excellent and the service was great. For our first visit, I ordered the carnitas. It was a huge portion size served with rice, beans, and fresh tortillas. I asked the server to make it dairy free (because lactose) and he offered to swap the refried beans for whole beans. (Yes, refried beans are made with cheese!) My dining companion ordered shrimp sautéed in picante sauce. Both of us were happy with our very tasty and filling selections. For our second visit, the service and the food was just a little off. My tacos al pastored was just as tasty as the carnitas, but our server forgot I'd asked for whole beans and brought the refried version; my wife was not quite as happy with the shrimp dish she tried. Still, between the food and the service it was a better experience than we'd had elsewhere in town the previous two nights. read more

Been here maybe 5 times and have never been disappointed. Today the service was extra good. It's definitely worth the a stop while in Moab.

After a long day of hiking in the cold this totally hit the spot! The portions were huge, the food was piping hot, service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely:) I'd come again :) read more

We are visiting Moab from San Diego, where we're pretty spoiled with great Mexican food. We didn't have much expectation but thought reviews sounded Ok and we were starving. This place was literally the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. The salsa is Amazing! And our meals were great! Came to Moab from Nevada for a little vacation.

We ate here on Cinco De Mayo. We had a great meal. I had Carne asada, med rare of course, Dick had shrimp chimi. There were several big parties, so it took some time for our food, but when it came, it was great. We'd come again read more

I ordered the kids bean & cheese burrito for my 3 year old. The waiter brought a huge smothered burrito and said "oh I guess they made the wrong thing" and started walking off. I asked for a quesadilla in it's place and he took the old plate and just chucked it in the nasty food bins by our table. They were overflowing and there was mashed up food and chips all over the floor. Disgusting. This place is so dirty. And the food was bad. And the waiter was so angry and rude. And now my husband feels sick after eating there. If your entire business is to make food and serve it to people, and you majorly do that wrong, that only says you don't care and you rely on innocent tourists to come to your restaurant. Friendly staffs, big food, faster serving and considerably reasonable price in this higher priced sightseeing town. I liked their Mexican inspired interior and the family dining type of restaurant. Food-wise, I had a steak taco dish. Sorry, it was not my big favor of, but still ok and I was so full! I like their side, seasoning rice. Considering Moab's dining option, I believe this is very good place, and I am sure I will be back :) read more
