Traveling from Columbus, Ohio. Not for this place to eat but to hike and get lost! We love Mexican and this place hit the spot. The salsa was a little too spicy compared to most chains and the margarita was a little weak of tequila. The food and service was great though. I had a chicken and shrimp dish and she had a veggie burrito dish which was quite sweet tasting. Couldn't figure it out. Almost like sweet corn tasting? This is part of a chain and it is pathetic. Had chicken Enchiladas. They were dry and bla. I've had a lot of great enchiladas at other restaurants but not here. It seemed like they just went to the local city market and bought a can of refried beans and tossed them into a microwave for the refried beans. It was a little pricey but if the food had been good I would have had no complaints. I think they spent all their money on the decorations. read more

MUST TRY! We stopped in here the last night of our trip to Moab just by chance because the restaurant we wanted to try was closed. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! Being from CA, we have had our fair share of good Mexican and i can say this was right up there with some of the best! The service was FAST! The chips & salsa were really good! Our food came out HOT and the portions were huge! We order the Chile Colorado burrito and Enchiladas Suizas! That Chile Colorado was so flavorful! The shredded chicken was also great! The staff was VERY ATTENTIVE, our cups were always full! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Moab! read more

We ate at Fiesta Mexicana in Moab on 9/24/18. The food was nothing special but it was OK, no complaints there. The margaritas were over-priced but that's to be expected at most Mexican restaurants. The reason for only one star (would have been three otherwise) is that when I got my credit card statement I discovered that someone added $2 to the $10 tip. I contacted Fiesta Mexicana through their website but heard nothing back. Waited a few days and tried again... still no response. Contacted VISA and they credited back the $2. Now $2 isn't a lot of money; I donate 1,000 times that much to charities every year. However, I don't consider waiters charity cases and I have no fondness or respect for dishonest people. I will never eat at another Fiesta Mexicana, period! read more

We ended up at Fiesta Mexicana when we realized the wait time at the brewery down the street was going to take nearly 2 hours. The wait wasn't too bad, and the hostess explained exactly what it would be and why, the minute we walked through the door. The kitchen had gotten backed up, and rather than make that problem worse, she asked if we wouldn't mind waiting 5 to 10 minutes while they caught up. There was plenty of seating out on the back patio which was really really nice. Our server was very attentive, and got our drink orders going almost immediately. We started with the taquitos, margaritas, and some sodas... I ordered the tacos al carbon, and they were delicious. It didn't take long at all for our food to come out, and an even shorter time for us to devour it. They didn't pressure us at all to leave after we paid, and since we were catching up with some old friends, I really appreciated that. Kudos to them for being so open and honest about wait times, providing great service, and most importantly, serving delicouis food. read more

Standard Americanized Mexican fare, with mixed results. The chips had an odd aftertaste (possibly grease, possibly just old). Beans were a little runny alone but if you mix them with the rice (which was good on it's own) then they're fine. Cheese and onion enchilada was great. Grandmother had crispy chile relleno, which she said was very good. Mom seemed to enjoy the beef enchilada. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but the portions are decently large and it IS a tourist town, so not unreasonable. Service was quick even on a busy night. I was visiting moab to do some hiking. I was craving Mexican food. I ordered the chicken mole plate. OMG! this was the best damn mole I have ever tasted. It's too bad that I had to travel all the way from from California to do so the place was nicely decorated the waiter was very kind and I am definitely returning her when I come back to Moab. The food was good, but more importantly, they had no problem accommodating us when I had a request. We initially got seated in a booth that had poor lighting. I flagged down the first employee that walked by and asked if we could move to a booth by the window. Without hesitation that employee moved us to a window table. I understand that we may have moved from one section to another server's section, but everyone was professional in the way they dealt with us. Went to El Charro yesterday and this place today to see which was better. For starters El Charro does not serve alcohol and their ratings are much higher than Fiesta. El Charro had good food but Fiesta blew them out of the water with their delicious salsa and amazing margaritas. The staff was on top of it and we never ran out of salsa or chips once. We had a party of four and everyone was highly satisfied with this place. They all agreed Fiesta was way better than Charro. Not sure how Charro has so many good reviews when it's more of a hole in the wall. This place is authentic and the decorations make you feel like you're in little Mexico. I highly recommend this place for their enchiladas or really anything on the menu. read more

The food and service here are both efficient and friendly. We always stop here to dust off our thirst and fill our hungry bellies after the long drive from San Diego. The tostada I ordered was soggy and cold. The shredded chicken was moist, but tasteless. The server was nice, but service was slow. The decorations were fun, but the looked run down. Meh. Heard they had the best margaritas in town so we went by for a mid-day pick-me-up. The liquid within the margaritas was pretty good...however, it did not last very long because it was filled to the brim with ice. They are advertised as 18 oz. - take that to mean: ice: 15 oz., booze 3 oz. Oh, and they are $9.50. We ordered some guacamole as well - everything was well and good until we got 1/2 way through it to find lettuce stacked on the bottom to make it look like you got a lot! What a bunch of shysters!! This place was so disappointing, I had to share my experience. Two prawns still had the legs on them, in my prawn fajitas. When I pointed this out to the server, he said they're served that way but asked if I wanted something else. I let it go, cause I did not want to make a stink -- But obviously.. I was lied to as the other prawns were all legless -- The way they're supposed to be served. One of the pieces of chopped tomato still had the "belly button" on it -- Where the stem attaches. This combined just grossed me out, as it was obvious to me the food was not cleaned or prepped properly. The rice had no flavor and there was hardly any cheese on my refried beans. Lastly, cause I have a sweet tooth -- I ordered dessert later that day. I figured they couldn't screw up the ice cream, as it does not need to be prepped or cleaned. I was wrong. The flour shell, the fried ice cream was served in was STALE and so was the dessert. I don't know where else you could eat in this town but do your self a favor and PASS. EPIC FAIL. read more
