The inside and decor is really festive. The food? Not so much. It's just incredibly bland. So bland that I can't believe they don't have an assortment of condiments on the table to actually give the food flavor. But what the food lacked in flavor, it certainly made up for in gastric distress. (The beans! ) Maybe we caught them on a bad day? The service was good. The warm chips and roasted salsa were tasty. I'll say that it wasn't so bad that I won't give them another chance when we go back in September. They proudly display their A rating from the Department of Health as they should. It's a very clean establishment Like I said, we probably caught them on a bad day read more

We only had drinks (margaritas and beer) and guacamole and a cheese crisp. With that being said everything including cleanliness and service were ON POINT! Not sure why only 3 stars! read more

The decor and service was fantastic. I was a bit sad that the mole wasn't very flavorful. Overall good and family friendly.

Enjoyed the fajitas for two and the pollo asado! Margaritas we're ok but light on tequila. Do not recommend the cheese dip.

Very good Mexican meal. I had the combo with enchilada, chimi, and taco. Wife had the chicken fajita salad. Both meals were great. Wife had two margaritas that were delicious and very big. I'd go back next time I'm in Moab. Great service too. Quick with the water refills which is important after a day hiking in Arches. read more

The food here is excellent. My wife and I were very impressed with the flavor and quality. We'll visit again next time we're in Moab.

The place has an authentic feel inside. We got a soda but no refills, we didn't receive a kids menu even though we have a 5 year old. We had to request a kids menu. The hamburger we ordered was raw in the middle which resulted in a delayed sickness. I would not go back. read more

Went to dinner tonight with a group of 5, and I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. We have been in Moab for a few days and the food has been very mediocre . The staff super friendly , clean restaurant . We got the blue margaritas and then the purple Cadillac margarita and a lava flow. All extremely good. Food came out and I got a combo plate with enchilada , flauta , and a tamale . All so good but that was probably one of the best fluffiest tamale I've ever had and I'm from chicago area that has a lot of tamales. Kids got the super enchilada which they said were really good. Husband got a steak burrito and that was good too. Good selection of different desserts. Churros were nice and warm and soft in the middle, fried ice cream was good . If you are in Moab and want some good food and good drinks. Give it a try . read more

We ate here on recommendation from our hotel. Instantly walking in the door, we felt welcome, was immediately seated and had water and chips and salsa on the table before even getting settled in. The waiter, Alex, was able to provide dinner and drink recommendations. The food was incredible, highly recommend the fajitas and Super burrito. The lime blended margarita was also very tasty. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and atmosphere was very welcoming. Would highly recommend and will visit on future trips to Moab. read more

Lotsa good food. I had a burrito that I should have shared. My friends DID share a burrito and had plenty. The food coming to the other tables looked and sounded (the fajitas) good. The margaritas were big, cold, and tasty. Loved sitting right out next to the street and watching the peeps go by. Service was very good. The bathrooms were Very Dirty - so, no 5 stars for you! read more

My wife and I visited this restaurant June 2019 when we were passing through Moab. We were originally looking for a different place, but we never found it so we just went to Fiesta Mexicana and THANK GOD we did! The food was amazingggg. I got a steak and shrimp dish and she got a carne asada dish. We got the re-fried beans as a side and honestly it was the best Mexican food either of us ever had, and that's coming from someone who lived in Phoenix and the other in Albuquerque. I'm not sure if the quality has gone down or why it doesn't have more stars, but we feel strongly it's amazing and worth a visit. It's not a fancy place, but the food was flavorful and fresh, and the portions are large. The staff was great - very friendly and helpful, definitely felt like a family restaurant. read more

Overall Fiesta Mex is the best Mexican In Moab. I live in Moab. Ive been to them all. If you dont want to wait forever go to FM. The food is very good, the price is reasonable, the service is excellent AND they can handle the crowds. read more

Good place to go for fast service! Nothing special about the meals but we got our meals very quickly and did not have to wait for a seat. Almost every other restaurant around had lines out the door. It was busy but very packed. They were not practicing social distancing but we needed somewhere to go for quick food. I would go again if we were craving Mexican food but there are many other options for food in the area to try as well. read more

If you like spicy salsa, this is your place! I love spicy salsa, and I just couldn't get enough of theirs. So good! The store bought chips are a bit of a disappointment, but load them up with this fabulous fresh salsa and you really won't care. My husband and I both ordered the Fiesta Grande plate; three entrée selections plus rice and beans. Hubby ordered a cheese and onion enchilada, a ground beef burrito, and a chili relleno. I ordered a cheese and onion enchilada, a ground beef taco, and a pica (shredded beef) sopito. The cheese and onion enchiladas were heavy on the onion, and the cheese never got hot enough to melt. While the flavor was good, it would have been so much better with melted cheese. The taco had good flavor, but the shell was not made in-house. It was another store bought item. The sopito shell was very soft and flavorful, not dry at all. A pleasant surprise. The ground beef burrito actually looked like a beef enchilada, but it was definitely a flour tortilla. Hubby said it was "fine". The chili relleno was the star of my husband's plate. It was a soft egg shell with a full cheese stuffed chili. Delicious. We both ordered a margarita, but didn't tell the waiter we would prefer the smaller size. The drinks he served were large and of sufficient strength to help you relax after a long day in the car. The price was a bit steep at almost $9.00 per drink, but they were very good. We are from the Denver area, were you can't throw a rock without hitting five family owned Mexican food joints. We are not necessarily experts, but we've had a fair share of Mexican food. We love it and eat it at least one to two times weekly. While this restaurant met the Mexican food craving while traveling away from our local favorites, it was more in line with a "franchise" or "chain" restaurant. The place was quite large, with seating for about 100,000,000 and was missing the "family owned" feel we so much enjoy at our local haunts. We would probably go back if we were in the area again, and couldn't find any other options, and just had to have killer salsa and a good margarita. read more

I'm from the Midwest and have never heard of coleslaw at a Mexican restaurant...SO GOOD! The whole beans were also amazing. The fresh pico on top made it even better! I had one spinach and one cheese and onion enchilada. I'm a huge raw onion fan and the cheese and onion enchilada was loaded down! The margaritas are good. The chips and salsa is hotter than we're used to but the flavor is insanely good and it is so fresh that you can't stop eating it no matter how hot. I'd like to eat here again before we leave! read more

1 star as I blew straight through an entire pack of depends. Spent more on diapers than I did on dinner. Good prices +1 star. Tortillas were so wet I was able to lubricate the chafe in my thighs. read more

They were able to work with me to make sure my food was celiac friendly (granted I take gluten cutter when I eat out). The house margarita was absolutely delicious. They use 100% agave tequila on all theirs drinks. The reason for the 3 is because they are not adhering to laws regarding Covid-19. The staff did great. I felt very comfortable eating the food. They were very diligent about cleaning menus and tables as well as wearing masks that actually covers their nose and mouth. They are not holding customers accountable to adhere to laws though. They are not asking customers to put a mask on upon entering as well as when they use the restroom. Unfortunately I would not have eaten here if I realized the situation. With this being a tourist town, you'd expect a little more. Delicious food, but I need a safer place because of my autoimmune disease. read more

This place is so quick with service! There was two of us on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. We ordered two margaritas which were huge (18 oz.) ! They tasted great and fresh with simple ingredients. We heard the bartender shaking them from afar and they were brought to us shortly. The food was great! It was nice to see they had a vegetarian section on the menu since I'm sure they get many different types of tourists with different diet restrictions come through it is much appreciated. The beans and rice were bomb also the salsa was spicy! I ordered the tamal and it was AMAZING!! I already want to go back for dinner again! read more

A little on the expensive side, but we were happy with the food and the portions. We left feeling pretty full. One of my favorite things was the chips. They're warm and fresh brought out to you and not just been sitting under a heat lamp to stay warm. I got the enchiladas rancheras - this is the first time I've had enchiladas with eggs on them. The salsa was also on the spicier side, it was great! But I'm a pansy and had to chase it with a lot of water lol. But definitely good eats for sure! read more

I don't understand why this place only has three and a half stars when all information I was receiving when deciding which best Mexican restaurant all lead to Fiesta Mexicana - i.e. three people in town recommended it as their favorite place, it's in a good location and the building itself is well done both outside and inside, good menu selection, good service, and the food has good potions and tastes great. I had the Chili Verde, wife had Carne Asada, and our two kids had the Chicken Enchiladas which tasted great. We're definitely coming back when we come back to Moab and will recommend to friends also. read more

Loved this place. Had the lunch special - shredded chicken burritos with rice and beans - muy excellente. The burrito was an appropriate size for an individual - most people could eat the whole meal with no problem, but I gave a smaller appetite, and couldn't do it. Great service and food! We both had the special and it was delicious and a huge portion. Highly recommended!

Food was very mediocre at best, we actually threw most of it away. Ordered TOGO and sat there watching all these patrons walk around with no masks. They charge a 20% tip to your bill, and then give you a receipt with the tip space blank for you to write in and ask you to write in the total. Very deceptive. read more

We were a party of 14. The server was really attentive, the food was great and would recommend this restaurant!

I have spent quite a number of years visiting good Mexican restaurants; particularly, Tex-Mex. So, I know what good Mexican-American foods taste like. The nachos served at the beginning were hot and fresh. That is a really good sign. We ordered a family-style fajitas and their sampler appetitizer. It was alot of foods. On a scale of 1-10, their Fajitas is 7. It is above average but not the top. Appetitizer sampler is tasty and hit. Hot Mexican foods is always better than lukewarm ones. . Service receives a 4 star from me. The main waiter is attentive and the supporting bus-boys also helped out with serving and picking up empty dishes. I felt pampered and that is what service is all about. Well done, amigos! read more

We stopped in here on our way through Moab because it was right next to our hotel, and it was pouring down rain, so our options were limited. The margaritas are delicious. However, they're also tiny. They're served in a giant glass, but it's mostly ice. Three of them at $10 each should get you pretty tipsy though. The food is great. I'm not Mexican, or spanish, or latin-american, or any of that, but I know what the things that I put in my mouth taste like, and the burrito I ordered was delicious. Service was friendly, but a little slow, and we had to wait for a seat because even though they had open tables, they did not have the staff on hand to seat them. Still, over all, I'd say give it a try! read more

An excellent Mexican experience, and I live in Arizona. The Verde Burrito and Purple Cadillac Margarita was delicious.

Pretty decent but overpriced. It's a pricy area but this place was a bit too much. Fajitas were 26, and somewhat smaller portions than any other place ive been. Soda 4.25. The worst part was a 13 dollar Pina coloda served in 12oz glass with no discernable alcohol. It was clear this place serves alcohol, there just did not seem to be any in my drink. Would not go here again, there are other viable options. read more

This was antique Mexican restaurant with such a wonderful ambiance and delicious food. I was immensely impressed with the ambiance!! I felt as if I was in Mexico. This place is a GEM. I absolutely loved the staff here and the waiter we had Christian. Always very attentive and if we needed anything he got if for us quick. The food was Delicious and the Chips and salsa were my favorite! I'm usually lucky with chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants but these were warm chips and they had a variety or salsas. I'm from California and when we were going to visit the NP here I told my husband we needed to check it out, he loved it as well and we even had a midnight snack with leftovers. The ambiance is great, it's newly remodeled and the Margaritas are phenomenal!
