    Croissant Loaf French Toast

Breakfast was excellent! Bacon and potatoes, yogurt with fresh fruit tasted great and croissant French toast was a great sweet treat with breakfast. Dinner was okay, bison tenderloin was cooked as asked but sides did not seem too cohesive. Chicken was cooked well and delicious. We also had the s'mores dessert however the graham cracker and salt was way too salty, you couldn't even taste the graham cracker. S'more and chocolate was good though! Overall service, presentation and general ambiance of breakfast/ dinner was great!

If I could feed you anything through my screen this would be it. I found Fielding's on a whim while looking for late(ish) dining in Bozeman. Was I randomly searching for a restaurant that served Bone Marrow? Maybe. Regardless, I'm glad we ended up here. Located in the Armory, this restaurant absolutely blew us away. My favorite part? Having the Chef check in on us throughout our meal to explain each dish in exquisite detail. What a gem! Our server was a kind young gentleman. Let's get to the food, shall we? First up, the Cornbread Skillet. It's buttery perfection. Covered in burnt honey butter - this shareable did not disappoint. It has a slight spicy kick that balances out the sweetness of the cornbread. Next is the Roasted Bone Marrow. I've always been a bone marrow-lovin' girly so this was a dish after my own heart. I would've liked just a tiny bit more salt but that's just me. Served on top of brioche toast, it basically just melts in your mouth. I was extremely surprised by the Grilled Ruby Trout. Trout is always a hit or miss for me in restaurants because it's often overcooked - but not here! This little trout came in from Idaho (at least that's what we were told and was cooked perfectly). What really helped elevate this dish was the charred broccoli. Craving some fried chicken? Look no further. Every single piece of chicken was tender and evenly cooked. The crispy chicken skin was oh so yummy. Did we have room for dessert? Absolutely not but we will next time! The restaurant itself has an elevated and classy vibe. The staff members are some of the beat. And, well, then there's the food... We'll be back.

Here's a polished Yelp-style review you can copy and paste: 5/5 I recently stayed at the Armory (Kimpton) in Bozeman and had the chance to dine at Fieldings, which is the restaurant in the lobby -- and it was fantastic! We came in with a large group for brunch and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. Despite the size of our party, everything ran smoothly, and the service was truly impeccable from start to finish. The food was excellent, but the standout was definitely the donut holes -- absolutely amazing and worth the visit on their own! Highly recommend stopping by whether you're staying at the hotel or just looking for a great spot in Bozeman. Great service, great food, great experience.

Not bad. Our server was so sweet and kindly kept us attended to! I had the Wild Boar- meh...no spices or seasonings and sliced in such a way that it got cold quickly. The black-eyed peas were decent- just as they are when poured from a can, but there was, maybe, 2 tablespoons. Husband had the salmon and loved it- cooked to a delicious crisp on the skin-side.. perfectly seasoned. The sauce was so tangy and sharp- great vinegar flavor! Brussels Sprouts are always great when crispy and theirs were perfect! Wished we'd had more! The cider was great and the IPA solid. Atmosphere was really calm and comfy. Prices are too high, IMHO,

Awesome hotel restaurant! Normally I don't like to dine at hotel restaurants but the quality of the food was great. We had reservations for a Saturday night at 7:30pm but we got to the hotel faster than anticipated and we were able to get a seat around 6:45pm. Our server was Sabrina and she was fantastic! If you like mezcal, The Pearl is your drink - smokey but not overpowering. Easy to drink. My fiancé got the tasting menu and it looked so good! I got the Goat Parpadelle and it was very yummy. Since one of us had the tasting menu with a few starting plates, we ordered Mussells for the table so I could eat while my fiancé was eating. However, when the first two tasting courses came out, a plate of Brussels came out. We weren't sure if they came with the tasting menu but about halfway through the meal we figured our server probably heard Brusells instead of the Mussels. Although I was craving mussels, the Brussels were perfectly roasted with some pesto at the bottom of the plate and I believe pistachios mixed in. The tasting menu was awesome, my favorites were starters: the beet salad and the mushroom bacon soup. I love beets in general and the soup is right up my alley for a mushroom lover: umami but not too much due to the bacon. It is not often that I see shitake mushrooms outside of Asian restaurants and this was a pleasant surprise. The main entree for the tasting menu was bucatini spaghetti and meatballs. Tasty! I did prefer my Goat Parpadelle over the bucatini though, the goat was more flavorful! The star of the entire tasting menu was the dessert: it was a peanut butter cookie sandwich with jam in the middle. SO GOOD.

Sabrina, our server, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The culinary team behind this restaurant is outstanding. Chefs Mark, Zach, and Joe went above and beyond to make our visits memorable and special. While MT is big on game, this team happily created plant based dishes for us. They were flavorful, creative, and beautifully presented. The experience was one of the best we've had and I cannot say enough about Fielding's. We ate here twice during a four night stay at The Armory hotel. It was our favorite restaurant on property. Don't miss the hand crafted cocktails and extensive wine list either. We cannot wait to be back. Thank you for the five star experience!

Great breakfast spot in the kimpton, small but mighty menu with good options for all palates, including kids. It's a bit pricey but worth a stop if you're in the area. We recommend the avocado toast and Rocky Mountain breakfast, Bottomless mimosas for $15, hard to beat if you wanna get a little tipsy!

Beautiful dining area tastefully decorated and nice artwork. This restaurant is located within The Armory Hotel. We really enjoyed the comfy booths and had amazing service and delicious breakfast while we were guests of the hotel. Lots of local delicious food options and excellent customer service from the server staff. Price point of the menu is reasonable and plenty for portion size. Hidden gem!

We had breakfast at Fielding's this week. It made sense since we stayed at the Armory Hotel. The portions were huge, we were seated promptly and coffee was plentiful. I think they were training a new waitress the day we were there. Nothing huge, she just didn't know they had a kids menu - and I admit it's a high end dining place so it does seem strange to ask for cereal. Our picky eater doesn't do eggs and other than the granola on the menu .. it was an everything bagel.. Breakfasts are always are hardest travel meal! And so we ask for the kids menu and cereal when we can. They do offer it for those of you traveling with the under 18s. The place is lovely to look at, and the bar would be great to hang out in after a day of hiking.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Bozeman, and arguably the finest meal I had during a two-week excursion through Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. Located inside the Amory Hotel, design feels more like something you'd find in Brooklyn than Montana. Pips of color with dark wood and tile floors. I ate early, around 7:30pm, but by 8pm the place was packed and stayed that way past 10. Food was beyond impressive, even if it comes with a high price tag - which truthfully is no more than one would pay in NY or LA. That's the price of Bozeman and Jackson these days. I order the braised lamb shank which blew my mind. Incredibly delicious, cooked to perfection, and served on a simple yet highly appreciated bed of mixed vegetables. Desert -- just, WOW!!! Bourbon Pecan Chocolate cake. I wanted to order a second, and if it were my last meal, I would have. Service wise, I sat solo at the bar and was well looked after. Can't offer insight to the table service. Highly, highly recommend.

Every meal was outstanding! From breakfast to dinner, Fielding's didn't disappoint. For breakfast, my favorite was the avocado toast. Although all the menu items look amazing, for dinner, I recommend starting with the potato croquets. So good! The wedge salad & ribeye were also very good. And kudos to the hard working & friendly staff!

We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.

Served with grilled bread, it was the kind of dish you keep dipping back into because it's just that good. For our main dish, we shared the Brown Butter Scallops -- prosecco salt dusted scallops served with arugula pesto, herb mushrooms, and bacon & butternut squash arancini. The scallops themselves were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the real standout on the plate was the arancini.
