Choose these folks for your data recovery needs! I had two WD (called Western Digital when they…read moredrives were made) HDDs that I needed data from. I was unable to recover data from them in different ways. Disc one was an external drive that would not power on. I tried removing it from its external enclosure and powering it from another, more different enclosure to no avail. The system was indeed down. Disc two was an internal drive that used to be my C drive- my boot drive. I removed it from an old computer after it stopped booting and put it into an external enclosure. Several different computers (Mac & PC) would recognize it sporadically, though none could access the data on it- error codes always came up. Before I removed it, from the old computer, I tried booting from an optical disc and other assorted methods, many other assorted methods... I believe I was very thorough in my efforts. I sent both in and received near 100% recovery. They said it was 100% from one and 99.9% from the other but I am unable to find that .1%. I got all of this for just barely above the $300 price in their name (each, not total). So for about $600 total (including new discs on which my recovered data was transferred and return shipping) I got this incredible service. The total price I paid for both discs at 300DDR is less than I was quoted at several other places for one disc. At each step they were great communicators, from their receipt of the discs to my receipt of the recovered data. I hope I never need their services again but should, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them.

And worse it was the one that held all my photos over the last couple of years. I'm an engineer by trade and with other files, I might have tried to rescue them myself. For these important photos, however, I decided to go with the professionals. I did a bunch of research trying to find the best data recovery service to use and $300 Data Recovery turned out on top. The employees here are very professional and responsive. I submitted my chances form at 7:30PM on a Saturday and they got back to me within an hour. I was not expecting a response over the weekend. They gave very clear instructions on how to package and send off my SSD. I dropped it off at UPS the next day and by Wednesday, they confirmed they received the device and added me to the queue. Apparently there weren't too many people in line before me so I received a positive response the very next day. 100% of sectors recovered! A couple of days later they were completely done and after I confirmed they recovered my files (they send a master list of all files) and I paid ($300 fee + $105 recovery transfer drive + $25 shipping), they shipped my drive back. Total time from my first contact to receiving my data back: 16 days, and this was including Thanksgiving in between. I am very satisfied with the service I got from $300 Data Recovery. Hopefully I never run into drive trouble again (it certainly made me backup my files more frequently), but if I ever need help, I'll definitely contact them again. Now I can finally post all my Yelp reviews from November and December that I was missing photos for...

I had an accident where I stepped on my legion go s screen and it shattered. I didn't expect it to break the entire screen, but only crack a portion of the screen. The fragility of the screen is significantly worse than I thought. I talked with several other tech repair shops and either they did not answer my request for a quote, took way too long to answer or gave a response that they could do nothing about handheld repairs, some gave bad replies. He was the best of 8 different tech repair shops I have encountered and not only the best, it was a landslide better than the competition. The only real issue I had was a very high price premium to fix my device. It was about half of what the actual device cost. Of course I got it on sale for about 700$. The service, labor and total cost to repair was $335. So, almost half of what I paid for the device at Best Buy. I learned not to place this fragile handheld on the ground to prevent it from getting damaged again. Overall satisfied with the outcome and Dory did fix it. Personality was good and time to fix was roughly 2 hours. Parking lot structure is terrible, not enough space and many other places nearby. There are other parking structures as well but it may get towed or even scratched due to compact spaces. Also a little unsafe as there are some loitering. Overall, It's good but not the greatest in terms of value but Dory been doing this for many years roughly 15 as I recall.

I don't know a whole lot about computers so I need to trust the person I hire to do honest and…read moreethical work. Bill Curran of LA Computer does neither ethical or honest work. My son and business partner Tim hired Bill to come out and try and fix our VoIP phones. However the only thing we got was a massive headache. It all started when Bill saw an opportunity to sell us a router, that while new had been "sitting around collecting dust for a few month." (those are his words not mine) We agreed to let him do the work but were also very clear that we would not buy the router if it did not solve the problems. He agreed to let us test it, try it out, and see if it actually worked. Being trusting people we had him out to do the work. He installed the router and for the first hour or so there was no problems. But then we started to notice that not only were our phones still broken but that we were having other issues as well....thats when Bill started on insisting on payment right away and we started to wonder why. Tim talked with Bill and agreed to pay him for the labor but said he would not pay for the router until Bill could demonstrate that it actually solved our problem. Bill responded via email " Paying labor now works for me, gives me something for my effort, and seems perfectly fair. " Like I mentioned after he installed the router we were still having issues with the printer and scanner. Bill wrote back and admitted he caused the problem and gave us some nice line about how he would take full responsibility and come fix it. Well that was on June 25th and he was supposed to stop by and fix it but via email told us he had "other obligations" and decided to not stop by but remote in again. Well not only did he not fix the issue. He created yet another issue. So here we are in a high tech office where scanning and faxing 100+ pages per day is normal and out scanner is not working because of an oversight Bill had. His brilliant solution was that we go down the street and use the office stores fax. At this point Tim wrote to Bill and let him know just how unpleased we were with the service. The next thing we know we had been locked out the router he sold us. He decided to hold our entire network hostage because he failed to not only fix the original problem but he also created 2 new additional issues. Bill spoke with Tim and threaded to come take all the equipment out and leave our office shut down and in shambles. It was at this point we demanded the password and let Bill know he was no longer welcome.... There is ton more to say but I;ll leave it at we took him to small claims and judge heard the case and decided against Bill Curran and in our favor. Now Bill is upset he lost and running around posting slanderous reviews of us online. He refuses to pay the judgement and creating a nightmare for us. We suggest you look else where for quality computer help.
