Do not use Fetch Petcare! Beware. Not sure if they have a person who coordinates locally or owns locally, or management had switched owners, but either way, the service is horrible. I called 4 weeks ahead of a trip to ensure I had ample time and planning. Their follow through and poor communication from their management team was less than mediocre. The quoting process wasn't too bad. They quoted me, got me scheduled in their system, had me upload a card and confirmed my dates and times. Then they said, they would call me in a week or so to let me know who was available. We had a previous sitter (2018), whom they said they would call first, then reach out to others if the sitter wasn't available. 3 weeks goes by without a call. Mind you, my trip is right around the corner, so I call in. They answered promptly and told me there was a mix up and they'd let me know the next day. No call the next day. Then I call a day later with a sense of urgency. The person I spoke to wasn't sure of what was going on and then escalated me to management. Management, then proceeds to give me some B.S. story about how no one is available and that they were going to call me today to let me know. (this left me with minimal time to find an alternative solution) The whole purpose of calling them 4 weeks prior to my trip was to ensure I had a plan in place. When they flaked on me, they had no real good reason why and offered up no solutions, except for "sorry" (that was from "management" after it was escalated) In summary, save yourself the headache and do not call or use Fetch Petcare if you live in Reno. There are better services out there that care for your pets. With their poor customer service and excuses, I would be concerned about the care that my pets would have been receiving anyway. Glad they showed their true colors. To be fair, they used to be a good service back in 2018, but somewhere their quality slid to an all time low. I just started using Fetch and so far love the service. I really love Kelly our doggie walker. Fetch matched us perfectly. Kelly is so kind, knowledgeable AND patient with our snarky little Rudy! I contacted Fetch back in September, when I was moving to Reno, in order to set up pet sitting for my dog while I was away on Thanksgiving. Barb got in touch with me promptly, and set me up with Sue (one of their sitters). Sue came over to meet my dog, and went on a few walks with her so that they could get to know each other. This last week, Sue stayed in my house for Thanksgiving to watch over my pooch. My dog is my life, and I'm always worried about leaving her with people. Sue was incredible! She sent me emails and pictures everyday to let me know how my pup was doing. I didn't really worry about my dog while I was away, because I knew Sue was giving her the attention she needed. I also felt quite comfortable with Sue in our house - she's a very responsible person. I HIGHLY recommend Fetch, and specifically Sue, for pet sitting. read more

We've been using Fetch! for a couple of years now, and even since the new owners took over. We've had great communication with our pet sitters, as well as the owners. Scheduling pet service is easy through the website, and we feel confident leaving our pup our pup in their capable hands. My only request is that it be easier to update our profile on the website. When we lost our golden retriever to cancer earlier this year there was no way for me to do that via my online profile. I had to call to make the change. I used Fetch! Pet Care last December when I went out of town for Christmas. Not sure why I waited so long to get around to this review. I`m on the fence about my experience and here is why: Initially I called and spoke to a very nice representative who took all my information, and set up a meet and greet. Sweet! I was excited, and nervous, and ready to meet the people who were going to look after my kitty. I`m super picky about who watches my cat, and have only really ever trusted friends but I was in a jam and I needed someone pretty quickly. Anyways, a couple came over(I cannot remember the names) and they seemed really, super friend, and India, my cat, seemed to warm up to them quickly. Well, to be fair, she warms up to anyone with legs, and a voice, and food. So there is that! So I gave them the tour, went over all my instructions, gave them the keys, and signed the paperwork. About 5 days later I left and I was worried, naturally, but I calmed my nerves by thinking of all the positive reviews I had read. Fast forward three days. I come home, and my cat is alive, so automatically I`m pretty happy about this(Yes!) but I did notice a few annoying things which made me, honestly, a little bit upset. One, I had specifically told the sitters that she has two cups of water, one of the kitchen and one of the bathroom. She REALLY likes drinking out of the bathroom cup, but I change both water cups daily and make sure they are filled. So, I go into the bathroom and I notice the cup is LOW. Not low like she had drank it all, but low like it hadn`t been filled the entire time I was gone(disappointment). I had scheduled a visit that morning and it was now about noon(I wanted to make sure she wasn't hungry right before I came home) so I knew, for sure, the cup had not been filled for some time. So that was sort of a strike. Another thing is, and this isn`t really anyone's fault but a little special attention to detail would have been nice, was that there was litter kicked all over the bathroom. She is a cat and this happens. I get it. I have a broom and pan right outside the bedroom and they could have swept it up. Would have taken all of ten seconds. Now, that one I cannot really even be upset about, but paying for each visit, plus the surcharge for the holiday, I just expected a little bit more. Especially since my cat is super easy and taking care of her is a piece of cake, piece of pie. So that was a bit of a bummer. Will I use them again? Maybe. They still have my extra set of keys, so I could use them in an emergency. I just expected a little better experience for my first time using their services. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PET SERVICE. My family and I had an absolutely terrible experience. We left for a long weekend and after a day of being gone received a phone call that our little Yorkie was possibly hiding. Then after a little time had passed the watcher by the name of Jon, who is also a dispatcher, said that the dog was found. Fast forward to Monday when I came home to find that the house was completely smelling of urine, the dogs were not cared for as per the directions given,And the real kicker, THERE WAS A DOG MISSING!!!! I called the sitter, Jon, and the sitting company to inform them that our Yorkie was missing and Jon told me that he and his partner had counted the right amount of dogs that morning during their first visit and that he would come over to help me find the missing dog. After several calls and canvasing the neighborhood, and I will admit one of the few decent things the company did do was putting up posters, I received a call from a woman that had seen the poster. The missing dog had been running between fences in the culdesac at least since sunday evening. That's TWO DAYS that my family and I were lied to. So in short, the dog sitter lied about losing our dog, caused us many inconveniences, ruined the last day of our trip, and is a horrible person. This whole situation is completely inexcusable and this service will never be used by our friends and family,nor will it be used by the pet store that had it's brochures on their counter as they have since pulled them due to this instance. Update on my review based on the (hopefully) final interaction with the owners and then I am considering this matter closed: Fetch and Betty S. finally provided a really, really great response to my complaint. Other business owners should read her most recent comment...it made me consider trying them again. I understand it is difficult to track down at this moment due to the time that has gone by...there were a number of things I did not understand from their original response (why would it matter whether I was day care vs. boarding, from the standpoint of the quality of person they would assign?), but I finally have a fuller picture of their response and appreciate their follow up. I'll repeat what I said below...I know Fetch! is fantastic in other cities, so just make sure you meet your pet's assignee. From the other reviews, they're worth a look, but do your homework. I wish Fetch! all the best... -- Update on my review from interactions with one of the owners based on my review: Fetch Reno followed up right away based on my review (great!)...unfortunately, their follow up only re-enforced the review below. First...YES, I was very late in writing my review...but that does not change what happened (see below). Their follow up made it clear that they were incensed at my review and highlighted some broken things about their business. I stand by my review and would NEVER make up something like that...I have no financial relationship to this business or a competitor...there is no reason for my review other than the experience I had with them. After the experience below, I spoke on the phone with an owner and relayed my experience. It is not my issue that they did not record or act on this and, more disturbing, they had me down for the wrong service. I have worked from home for 6 years...I never need Day Care...I would need boarding for when I travel. In my interaction, this was somehow my fault that they had me down for the wrong service. Even then...this is about the PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR YOUR DOGS. I recall that they "assigned me to a new person" after my initial negative experience with the crazy person...they cannot or are unwilling to look up who I was originally assigned to, but "their best" was NOT who I was assigned to originally. I'll revisit my original statement: just make sure you know and meet and observe interaction with your pets with whomever you are assigned to. I have no doubt that there are some good people with them...I just did not meet any of them between the owners and the care givers. ---Original Review I will NEVER use Fetch Reno...I am told that other city locations are run quite well, but I will never trust the screening procedure they use for caretakers in Reno. With my babies, you only get one chance and, as you'll see below, they blew it BIG TIME. I called and talked to a great sounding person who said she had the ideal couple to watch my dog. She passed along my cell # and said they would be in touch. I was on a conference call the next day, so could not take their call...they left a message. The content of that voicemail message was nothing other than terrifying for a caring pet owner. A woman began to leave an introductory message about her and her husband watching my dogs. From the start...and I'm sorry to say this...but she spoke as though she had no teeth (I don't know how else to describe it...I'm sorry). But it was the rest of the message that led to this review... During the course of leaving a message about how much they loved dogs and were qualified dogsitters, she got flustered and lost her train of thought. As she continued talking, she got angrier (keep in mind this is a voicemail) and angrier and more flustered. She quickly ended her message and thought she had hung up the call. She had not...the voicemail recorded her turning to her husband (I presume) and yelling profanities about how he had distracted her with the TV when she was trying to earn some money. After her rant, she realized the call was still connected, resulting in her throwing the phone at him and supposedly breaking the TV (from the commentary)...more profanities...more arguing and fighting and namecalling. And these people were going to be caring for my dogs...in my home. This feedback had all been provided as feedback to Fetch at the time. I got a rote response, but nothing that made me feel comfortable letting these people anywhere near my dog. If you choose to leave your pet in their care, I highly suggest you get a detailed understanding of their boarder screening and spend some time with their boarders. read more

I have been using Fetch! Pet Care for almost a year now and I have been nothing but wonderfully pleased. I used the home environment dog boarding for a trip I took last summer to care for my dog, Reagan, as well as home visit cat sitting for my cat Sparky. Since then I have been using their services twice a week for mini potty breaks and walks, which I refer to as Reagan's Play Dates. Reagan and Sparky are absolutely in love with their best friend Julie who comes by to give lots of love and attention to Reagan and Sparky sneaks in to say hello most days too. Julie is always wonderful and has never missed a visit. She gives me updates with each visit and sends me pictures each time too. She treats Reagan as one of her own children and I LOVE that. I have crossed paths with them a couple of times when I had to stop off at home while they were together and Reagan just loves her to pieces. It made me happy warmed my heart to see how much she loves her. That means the world to me. My mother has been using Fetch for her dog and cat for about a year as well. She has Wendy pet sit when she is out of town and she loves her dependability. Neil walks her dog 3 days a week and her dog, Roxie, thinks he is the best thing in the world. Neater than Christmas is how my mom puts it. Roxie is sitting at the window on the mornings she has her date with her "boyfriend" and is sooo excited when he arrives. It's adorable. Fetch is always great and timely with their monthly invoices and lets you know at the beginning and the end of each month just exactly how much your bill will be and your schedule. They are extremely accommodating when you need to make a change to your schedule as well. I really love and am so pleased with this company that I can't imagine using any other services again. They really came to my rescue after a really bad experience with another dog walking service I was using that would just fail to show up regularly without letting me know. My fur babies are my kids so I am pleased to have found a company that is dependable for my kids comfort and safety. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a pet sitter, boarder, walker or "play date" potty break service. read more

Where to start.... My wife and I moved to Sparks back in August 2018 and we were in need of a dog walker/sitter. We are really picky and our English Bulldogs are quite needy. One has CHF and requires a little more attention than the average dog. I did a lot of research and came across Fetch! We met Maya for the initial visit/evaluation and knew we were in great hands. Over the last 10 months Maya, Roger, Angie, Jennifer and Madison have all taken their time to make sure our boys had an amazing time while we traveled and worked. I am not sure that we could have found a better group to stay with our boys. We will without a doubt stand behind this company and refer them any chance we get. As of yesterday we moved back to San Diego and would give anything to find another group of individuals as invested with our boys as they have been. Their service and services are top notch. I had a situation where my dogs walker had a situation where the dog could no longer be walked by this walker so I had seen ads about this site. I called them- they sent me a link to register my dog which was very broken. As a technological advanced person I attempted to work through it although I knew very well this site was broken. So I called th back- the local biz in Reno Nevada and the woman Stephanie very Rudely asked me if I knew how to open a "link"- at that point things were not so great. However I did another attempt with the same results and called her back to let her know that there were some serious difficulties with her websites and getting any new business . At that point she referred to me as "omg- razy lady". Good luck to any of you who might be trying to simply get a dog walker! I will work this out!!!!! read more

It's not hard finding someone who wants to take care of our puppy when we go on a trip. But we also have 2 cockatiels. Jon Fox from Fetch did an awesome job taking care of Hamish and Arthur. I used Fetch! Pet Care for the first time over my Fall Break. My experience with the staff was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. I just moved to the Reno/Sparks area in June and was worried about leaving my cat for a few days, but my sitter Pat was very reassuring and meeting her made me feel at ease; I did not need to worry about Roxy, my cat, while I was away. Pat sent me daily photos and texts so I could see how Roxy was doing. I will be using the service again and I highly recommend the service to anyone in need of a pet sitter! read more

I've used fetch in Reno twice with excellent results. The first time was for sleep overs with my aging dog, who needed a lot of TLC. John was obviously very caring and conscientious. My wife and I just had a horrific experience with this company. In our experience, the standards the company appears to place on what it takes to be a "certified boarder" were appalling. Despite our requests we were given a first time boarder in what we considered unacceptable home conditions. It would be our strong recommendation that the company not only does thorough interview/background checks of the boarders but they also do a home visit to see where people are sending their animals. We were incredibly disappointed. The service left us high and dry with no time to come up with a contingency plan. read more

I would 100% recommend FETCH Pet Care to all my friends and family! I have used this service on many occasions while being out of town and either having a sitter check on my cat or stay overnight with both the cat and dog. The sitters always take time to get to know my pets unique personalities and make me feel comfortable in leaving them. My sitter even sends me cute pictures of my pets so I know she's been there and is giving them all the love and attention they need. I have also used the yard waste disposal service as well. I was going out of town for a last minute funeral and I needed to find a sitter for my crazy dog. I heard from my friends about Fetch and how great they are at taking last minute appointments and for carefully handling "problem" dogs. I did not want to take her to a kennel and when I found out they perform in house sitting, I was all in. I returned after the weekend to find a happy dog and a report card for my dog commenting how great she was. I was very happy for the report and although she may not have been the angel that the sitter said she was it made me feel comfortable that she was in her home and taking care of my a professional sitter.
