Angel Pet Sitting is absolutely fantastic! Tina & Tony are the husband & wife team that run Angel. I have used them at least 6 times in the last year and have never been disappointed. They have taken care of my dogs for a couple of days at a time to weeks at a time. Two of those times were emergency vists because I was unexpectantly admitted to the hospital. They were there for me & my 3 dogs with no questions asked. I am currently on a trip that was to last 5 weeks. But I have had to extend my trip an additional 4 weeks. No problem with tony & Tina. Angel also house sits for me. They get my mail, water my indoor plants & flower pots outside, take out the trash, sweep floors & clean up the yard. Tony even cut my lawn when i was gone for 2 weeks last year. He thought my grass was getting too tall so he grabbed my lawnmower & away he went. They also spend time walking my dogs which they don't need to do because I have a huge fenced in back yard & a doggie door. Each one of my dogs has minor special needs. This is also no issue for Angel. My dogs get brushed more when i am away than when i am home. Tina & Tony go the extra mile & spend "quality" time with your pets. I also leave some cash & a signed check in case the dogs need something while I am gone. Dog treats, vet visits, extended stays on my part, whatever. Angel is good to me & my dogs so I do what I can to make their job smooth. And I have never had to worry that this extra money will be used on anything other than my dogs. Angel does not just take care of your pets. They become friends with your animals & create individual bonds. My dogs absolutely just love Tina & Tony & so do I. Tina is a wonderful lady who I felt very safe leaving to care for both my beloved kitty and my home while we were away for a week. I was a little bit nervous...the whole concept of finding someone on the internet, meeting them once at your home, and giving them a key to your house was a little bit nervewracking. However, after meeting her and seeing that she and her husband run a serious business made me feel really great about the entire thing. She probably took better care of our kitty than I do on a weekly basis...I told her she didnt have to do a few things like scoop the litter every single day, or just check it once or twice while she was there. She insisted that she would do it, so that was great! Also, I asked if she would mind checking our mail and watering some outside plants while we were gone, and she did it without any hesitation. The biggest thing she did to go above and beyond was handle a piece of mail that had been returned to us in error. She looked through the mail for it, resolved the issue, and had it mailed and to its destination by the time we got home. My only complaint--the fees on their website seem to be outdated by a few dollars, and it was a bit of a suprise to see the prices higher when they came to my house. It definitely wasnt cheap, but I would pay it again in a heartbeat knowing that someone dependable and caring was coming to our house to watch the kitty. It was so nice to come home after she had been there! You could tell the kitty was very happy when we returned and got the attention she needed while we were gone. I would reccomend Tina to anyone who ever asked for a pet sitting service. She was incredible and I will definitely be using her every single time we leave town!! Team Angel Pet Sitting (Tina and Tony) is Fantastic! I met Tina walking two Dachshunds in my neighborhood (I knew she must be a dog walker, because I knew the owners of the two Dachshunds), which was very coincidental, because I was walking our two Dachshunds, Oscar and Blu at the time. I introduced myself to her and asked if she did pet sitting in addition to dog walking and she said she did, which was good news to me, because our friend who normally watched our dogs while we were away, needed to be out of town at the same time we planned on leaving town. So Tina set up a time where she could do a thorough interview, check list, note taking and familiarization with our home. We have been using Angel Pet Sitting for almost a year, for walking our dogs when we are away from the house for more than five or six hours and when we leave town. Our dogs are very needy and have had some separation anxiety (it seemed), no matter who was taking care of them. We once left our dogs with a high end commercial dog kennel; it was expensive and there were tell tale signs that it was traumatic for our dogs and we swore we would never do that again to our dogs. Now our dogs are very familiar with Tina and Tony (Angel Pet Sitting) and are very excited to see them anytime they walk or sit our dogs. Our dogs are like kids to us - part of our family and we want the best for our doggies and don't want to worry about them when we are away. Angel Pet Sitting (Tina and Tony) fulfill our needs and our doggies needs whenever they are taking care of them. We usually board our two dogs and have a neighborhood kid take care of our cat when we are out of town. However, our latest vacation happened to be a pricey one, and the cost of boarding is not cheap, so I did some research into having a pet sitter come and attend to all of our pets here at home. Tina was my main contact from Angel Pet Sitting. She first scheduled a home visit, where I showed her where all of our pet related stuff was kept, and she asked a ton of questions regarding walking, feeding, playtime, likes/dislikes, etc. She had me fill out paperwork on each of our pets with more detailed information, and she even asked about our recycling and trash pickup day so she could put everything out on the curb for us. She checked in with me the day before we left just to make sure there were no last minute details, and checked in once during our vacation because of stormy weather (our dogs are out in the backyard during the day) just to make sure we were OK with them being out in the snow. She also called on our way home just to verify we were returning home on schedule and to make sure we didn't need her to take care of anything before we got home. Oh, and she left a very sweet little welcome home card on the kitchen counter along with some tennis balls for the canines. This service is a no brainer: for literally half of the cost of boarding, I had all of my pets' needs attended to in the comfort of their own home by a trustworthy, attentive professional. We had never left our three dogs (pointers) with anyone but family. Unfortunately, we were leaving for 3 weeks and they could not help out. I contacted Tina and we scheduled a home visit. She was extremely professional and well prepared. She asked me tons of questions and the dogs really liked her. I also wanted someone who was willing to stay at our house. She provided me references which I called and she got great reviews. I now know why. Our dogs range from four to fifteen years of age. Tina and Tony took excellent care of them. They walked them, gave medication, and played with them. The yard was cleaned up and I almost forgot to mention they also took care of our large koi pond. They fed the fish and took care of keeping the pond in good shape. Since this was the first time using this service I was very cautious. Leaving your pets and home to a stranger is hard. But Tina and Tony were amazing. Every day I contacted Tina she gave me full updates on our dogs and that everything was going well. When we got home she had left a welcome home note and a present for our dogs. She also kept in contact with us that day to make sure we made all our flights and got home. I have used various pet sitting services in the past in other cities and I feel that Angel Pet Sitting was very professional and thorough from our initial meet and greet, to the paperwork & preparation, and the actual service. I own horses, a dog, and a guniea pig so I was relieved that Tina & Tony were up for the task of handling all 5 of them. I was extremely pleased that upon my return, my pets not only seemed happy & well cared for, but both my house and barn were in as good, if not better, condition than when we left! We discovered Angel Pet Sitting earlier this year when our previous pet sitter stopped serving our area and were extremely pleased and satisfied with Tina and Tony. They have been great with our five cats and taking care of our home, especially since a couple of our brood have special needs. In the past when we've taken trips we've always put our dogs in boarding. When we moved to Reno I wanted to find a trusting person to come to our home. She was very professional and I felt very at ease leaving my two little dogs with her. I had specific needs because of the dogs and my yard and she made sure that everything was attended to. Tina has watched over my lovely little Lizzie 3 times now and she is awesome with her. Lizzie loves her, I think more than me, because Tina comes over everyday and takes her to the neighborhood park, and always plays with her. I have nothing but good things to say about Tina and Tony. I travel alot for work and was recently gone for a month. They took care of my dog and two cats the whole time and even spent the night at my house once a week to help the animals feel more comfortable and give me peace of mind. Tina took care of our Border Collie over our Christmas vacation and cannot say enough about how happy our dog was with her. We used her overnight option for our dog and her stay happened to include the night of earthquakes so she ending up sharing her bed with our dog because he was so scared!
