Not long after we encountered a stray on our walks with our Frenchie. We observed her for about four months before we became sure she was a stray--a German shepherd, about 11 months old. She is doing well now; at 75 lbs she is large and athletic. We were concerned because, while she is a sweetheart, she can be a handful. She took to Brynda and Billy right away--they were very good with her. When we returned from our vacation both dogs were healthy, happy and a little sad to see Brynda and Billy leave. Regardless of the size or age of the pet we can attest that B&B Pet Sitting is more than capable. Thanks to Brynda and Billy for taking superb care of our four legged family members!

She seems to have an almost magical way of gently incorporating every dog 'into her pack.' I leave him there, knowing he is well cared for. After a 'visit' with Aunt Kim, Turbo comes home well-exercised and happy. After taking Turbo to Aunt Kim's, I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. She does book up, especially on big weekends, so I email my reservation in as early as possible. Update: A couple years later & my dog is still loving Kim's when we go on dog-unfriendly vacations. My pup requires a pill a day & is night blind -- neither of which is an issue for Kim. She leaves on a few lights for him at night, so he can find the dog door to go out. When we picked him up from a 10 day Christmas trip, he greeted us with excitement; gave us kisses; ran to Kim & gave her kisses...and then, ran back into her house to lay on a blanket tuffet she had obviously put together for him to lay on. He was completely at home.

Not saying she would do this, I just like to be quoted a price range. She seems to take care of her employees and has a decent business plan. Costs to meet with them, as it should. Where she lost me was asking how long the dogs could be left alone. Well, several hours I suppose. She kinda beat around the bush then told me that all of her Nannys have full time careers. If I am working outside of the house for a full work day, I take my dogs to day care. An 8-9 hour work day and commute, leaves my dogs alone for at least 9-10 hours. How does the Nanny have time to exercise them? She also said that a Nanny can only work for one week. So, if you are gone for more than one week, you would have 2 nannies. Not a huge deal, but two different people in my home is a question mark. She ended the conversation with "fill out the online form and we will see if we have any nannies available." Didn't sound like she even wanted the business and seemed like she didn't have many nannies. I have 2 easy, older dogs, but they need daily exercise. I don't need someone with my dogs 24/7, but I would not leave them more than 6 hours at a time, so just being fed and having someone overnight, is not what I am looking for. That being said, if this works for others, they may be a great service.

They have all been very good to me and my boys. I have also always had their shots done, and was always prepared for that since they notify you by email in advance when their shots are expiring. They have extended my boys stays on short notice or were able to get them in on short notice as well. The only thing that has ever been required sooner than most places was kennel cough, and flu which is completely understandable! SO THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER RAYNOR , for pulling out so my pups could go in on short notice, especially since my boys shots were up to date. On another note Mr. Raynor, don't go trash talking my family. I consider The Bark House extended family since they have always taken care of my boys and have always notified me when my pups were due for their shots. I don't appreciate someone who trash talks my family when you sir, were not in compliance, and really dude...do you know that parvo can kill a dog? The bad - Unfortunately most of my drop offs consisted of dealing with Thomas, the owner. He made it clear pretty early on that he thought me and my dog had "anxiety issues". When I picked my dog up each day I liked to ask how her day was, as I'm genuinely interested (I love my dog lol) and it's nice to make small talk. Thomas took this interaction as me thinking my dog had a problem, and would make comments about my dog having some type of issue. He constantly rubbed me the wrong way, saying it was incorrect for me to say goodbye to my dog as it would increase her anxiety, and mentioning that I shouldn't call in to check on her. The final straw was today, Thomas had made a comment to my husband yesterday that my dog was "nippy" with him, and I wanted to talk to Thomas about it directly as I was genuinely concerned about my dog showing potential signs of aggression. Upon me asking him about it, he immediately let me know I should probably find another daycare, as I'm the owner he deals with that has the most issues or concerns. I tried to amicably let him know I'm only trying to get more information on the situation, but he kept insisting I go somewhere else since I'm not happy. This was a totally unprofessional way to speak to me, and as a paying customer I think it's well within my right to ask second level questions about my dog's behavior. I will be taking his advice, and going to a different daycare that doesn't view me as a problem customer for checking in on my dog or asking about her at pickup. 2 stars because they helped us out during days we needed dog care, and I'm appreciative for that!

This place was getting ready to close and I explained the situation and they agreed to take my dog and help him. I was greeted at the door by a very nice lady and I can't see enough good things about this place.
