Shannon took such great care of our dogs that Ruby has stopped aggressively barking at people when they come over and seemed happier when we returned that before we left. Shannon and Tonda updated me twice a day with adorable pictures of my pups. I finally enjoyed my time away knowing that they were in good hands. Shannon made sure my pup Maggie had her allergy pill everyday and took the time to watch tv with them before she went to school everyday! I think my dogs miss their dog mom! They were so relaxed when we returned, I will use this service over and over again! I cannot thank them enough! Happy dogs!

I will preface this by saying I have not actually used this service. I met these people at a dog…read moreevent. I was very impressed with them. Seemed like they would take great care of my dogs. I called later about boarding. They really push for you to just fill out a form. They will not give any kind of estimate. I understand that circumstances will vary, but a price range would be good. I had a contractor at my home once looking out my window and commenting "all you rich people up here." He way overcharged me and we aren't all rich. Not saying she would do this, I just like to be quoted a price range. She seems to take care of her employees and has a decent business plan. Costs to meet with them, as it should. Where she lost me was asking how long the dogs could be left alone. Well, several hours I suppose. She kinda beat around the bush then told me that all of her Nannys have full time careers. If I am working outside of the house for a full work day, I take my dogs to day care. An 8-9 hour work day and commute, leaves my dogs alone for at least 9-10 hours. How does the Nanny have time to exercise them? She also said that a Nanny can only work for one week. So, if you are gone for more than one week, you would have 2 nannies. Not a huge deal, but two different people in my home is a question mark. She ended the conversation with "fill out the online form and we will see if we have any nannies available." Didn't sound like she even wanted the business and seemed like she didn't have many nannies. I have 2 easy, older dogs, but they need daily exercise. I don't need someone with my dogs 24/7, but I would not leave them more than 6 hours at a time, so just being fed and having someone overnight, is not what I am looking for. That being said, if this works for others, they may be a great service.

Do not use Fetch Petcare! Beware. Not sure if they have a person who coordinates locally or owns…read morelocally, or management had switched owners, but either way, the service is horrible. I called 4 weeks ahead of a trip to ensure I had ample time and planning. Their follow through and poor communication from their management team was less than mediocre. The quoting process wasn't too bad. They quoted me, got me scheduled in their system, had me upload a card and confirmed my dates and times. Then they said, they would call me in a week or so to let me know who was available. We had a previous sitter (2018), whom they said they would call first, then reach out to others if the sitter wasn't available. 3 weeks goes by without a call. Mind you, my trip is right around the corner, so I call in. They answered promptly and told me there was a mix up and they'd let me know the next day. No call the next day. Then I call a day later with a sense of urgency. The person I spoke to wasn't sure of what was going on and then escalated me to management. Management, then proceeds to give me some B.S. story about how no one is available and that they were going to call me today to let me know. (this left me with minimal time to find an alternative solution) The whole purpose of calling them 4 weeks prior to my trip was to ensure I had a plan in place. When they flaked on me, they had no real good reason why and offered up no solutions, except for "sorry" (that was from "management" after it was escalated) In summary, save yourself the headache and do not call or use Fetch Petcare if you live in Reno. There are better services out there that care for your pets. With their poor customer service and excuses, I would be concerned about the care that my pets would have been receiving anyway. Glad they showed their true colors. To be fair, they used to be a good service back in 2018, but somewhere their quality slid to an all time low. Possibly because they changed management or ownership.

Barb got in touch with me promptly, and set me up with Sue (one of their sitters). Sue came over to meet my dog, and went on a few walks with her so that they could get to know each other. This last week, Sue stayed in my house for Thanksgiving to watch over my pooch. My dog is my life, and I'm always worried about leaving her with people. Sue was incredible! She sent me emails and pictures everyday to let me know how my pup was doing. I didn't really worry about my dog while I was away, because I knew Sue was giving her the attention she needed. I also felt quite comfortable with Sue in our house - she's a very responsible person. I HIGHLY recommend Fetch, and specifically Sue, for pet sitting.

I went through the reservation system Dena has, which is convenient but intentionally left the additional information about the house sitting blank because I didn't really know the exact information she needed. I anticipated the follow up because I would be a new client and subsequent meet n greets with our pup would be what I thought were apart of the process. Well, she emails me that I didn't complete the additional information and to give her a call. I had a gap in my schedule to call... so I called and her tone is not friendly, she does not answer on behalf of the business so I awkwardly share that I am following up on her email to discuss my service but because I need this done in March she tells me it's faraway so she will call me tomorrow....I'm perplexed with why you would have me call you to just tell me that you'll discuss tomorrow...she reluctantly says OK we can talk about it now. And another comment about how she didn't think I would call so soon. I am not feeling the interaction and let her know to disregard my request because I don't want to proceed with her...and what do you know...she hangs up on me. Minutes later I receive a text that she was on another call and didn't mean to upset me. Uhm, ok? So why answer my call...and just hanging up on me, why not share that you have a call on another line?? Super unprofessional.

Ashley with Bark buddies is a pet's godsend! I have utilized Ashley's services over the past year…read moreif I have to be away for the day or longer. I came into learning of bark buddies by the suv driving around with the very inviting art work. Ashley was nice enough to come to my home and meet me and my dog Rosie. My dog instantly gravitated to her. It was nice to learn that Ashley can pick up in the car and take to a neighboring area to walk which was my preference . She lets you know when she's in route to the home and shares a map of the route and picture of the doggie walking, I know there was some period in which she couldn't take my dog but her brother came and offered the same open communication of the walk. There was even help in cleaning the yard. This was the first time in which my dog was home alone ti be picked up but seeing the photo and hearing the successful walk brought me peace of mind when I couldn't be near. I know Bark buddies offers yard clean up as well if things get busy! Thank you Ashley and Bark Buddies for being a great support for my dog - daughter!

Not long after we encountered a stray on our walks with our Frenchie. We observed her for about four months before we became sure she was a stray--a German shepherd, about 11 months old. She is doing well now; at 75 lbs she is large and athletic. We were concerned because, while she is a sweetheart, she can be a handful. She took to Brynda and Billy right away--they were very good with her. When we returned from our vacation both dogs were healthy, happy and a little sad to see Brynda and Billy leave. Regardless of the size or age of the pet we can attest that B&B Pet Sitting is more than capable. Thanks to Brynda and Billy for taking superb care of our four legged family members!
