I am VERY picky. It was HOT in there but I took the pizza home. I live on Dictionary Hill. I've ate the best pizza in Chicago, and New York. This pizza reminds me of the pizzeria at the end of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, not even kidding. I'm going to get fat after discovering this place. Amazing food!!!! We got their combo deal, 2 medium topping with wings for $17! And chicken Alfredo. For the pizza, I love how you can change up your crust, we got the buttery cheesy Cajun. The dough was cooked to perfection! The service was impeccable! First, we came in late in the night, but the staff welcomed us with wide open arms. I have only recently "found" Fernando's Pizza but I wanted to give my brief review. Although I am a recent patron, I've since returned multiple times. Fernando's food - I've had pizza, buffalo wings, and salad - is excellent. And their staff/service is similarly great. Let me just start off with saying service 10/10 we were greeted by the owner, he is so nice. He told us of their deals and recommendations which was helpful. It's a classic newer little pizza shop with a couple tables inside. Our food was really good and the bread for the breadsticks and pizza was just so fluffy and filling! Cheese pizza was good according to my toddler, she finished 2 slices of the personal. We didn't add a crust flavor because we wanted to see how the basic crust tasted since it was our first time eating their pizza. I tend to not eat the crust at most pizza joints because it's too thick but this crust was a good size and edible without drying out your mouth. Nice time I'll try the crust flavor. Wings were a good size. Nothing worse than getting your wings and seeing that they're extra tiny! Lemon pepper sauce was good as well. I like to get sauce on the side so I can control how drenched my wings are. I wanted to try the tuna sandwich but because of the big game they were not serving sandwiches today, understandable. I was told the wait was approximately 40-45 minutes which was fine I called in a 2:30 because I knew everywhere would busy today. When we arrived the order was ready on time.
