The Pizza is VERY tasty. I've been going to a nearby pizza place for years and i gave this place a try tonight. Tops it 100%. Prices and VERY good too In my opinion. I will say I was expecting the garlic bread to be knotted or something because of the picture on the brochures so getting what we got was a little bit of a let down. And the garlic bread was soggy by the time we got home. So just be aware of that if you're taking home. The pizza has a Smokey flavor and garlic after taste it's honestly delicious! Service was very friendly and inviting when I walked in. I told them I was coming back later and they were super cool and gave me a brochure. Newly opened pizza spot in the end of the sweet water springs and Jamacha road. My family and I saw this open and wanted to try it out. We always get our gas at the station here. So it's a perfect place to pick up food for home. When I went in I talked to the staff and they recommended the : crime scene pizza. One of their best sellers. Located on the corner of Jamacha and Sweetwater Springs Blvd, Jery's Pizza is conveniently located. It replaced the pretzel joint that came and went fairly fast. We've been here several times already alternating between the subs and pizzas. All the food has been excellent thus far. The owners and staff is always friendly and the service is fast. My early favorite is the Crime Scene Pizza. I love the mini pepperonis, sausage and bacon. The crust is a perfect combo of crunchy and chewy. Hands down my favorite pizza spot in Spring Valley. I highly recommend Jery's pizza and hope they find success where others have not in that location. read more

This is a pretty good pizza shop. They recently opened up in Spring Valley, offering whole pies, pizza by the slice, sub sandwiches, salads, and calzones. I had the two slices and a beverage for $10 plus tax. I had the pepperoni slice and a meat lovers slice. Both slices were tasty. I really liked the quality of the pepperoni they use. They remind me of the smaller Sicilian pepperonis. They were great. The sauce was very good too on both slices. The meat lover's came with pepperoni, sausage, ham, meat ball, and bacon. It was a delicious slice of pizza. I liked that the bacon was noticeable. The crust was crispy but it could of used a little bit more of a chew, especially towards the ends. Also, its flavor was very mild. The service was very welcoming and friendly. There's no inside seating, but there's a few tables outside. I hope they plan to add more umbrellas to the outside tables for the warmer months. Good pizza. read more

The calzone was just as good, packed with melty cheese and perfectly baked as you can see what was left in the picture. My son said "BEST CALZONE EVER!!!" I had a horrible experience at this pizza shop. I ordered a supreme pizza, paid extra for it, and what I received was anything but supreme. It barely had any onions, peppers, or the toppings that are supposed to make it a supreme pizza. It looked cheaply made and thrown together. On top of that, it did not taste good at all, it honestly tasted like a boxed frozen pizza. Very disappointing, especially after being charged extra for something that wasn't delivered as advertised. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely won't be going back. read more

This place is such an amazing addition to the neighborhood. 1) Pizza: They have a NY style pizza that could go toe to toe with Bronx Pizza and hold its own. It is legit one of the best slices I have had in San Diego. Sauce is well seasoned, cheese is good quality, toppings are great too. They are not trying to be too fancy. They let the pizza speak for itself. The crust is perfectly thin and crunchy, with just the right amount of flop. 2) Subs: I eat subs more often these days than I do pizza. I'm always sad that there aren't more good sub shops in San Diego. Jery's sub are some of the best in town! The bread is fresh with decent crunch on the outside (topped with sesame seeds) and soft and fluffy on the inside. The turkey and provolone puts Jersey mikes to shame. The Torpedo is an awesome Italian sub. The Philly cheesesteak might be the best in San Diego. It is a straight up problem for me how good these subs are . I haven't tried the salads or desserts yet, but we are eating our way through the menu lol. All of this wonderful food, and the service is absolutely phenomenal. I believe most of the people working are family, and they make you feel like you are family too! The shop is mainly for take out, but you can grab a slice or/and a sub and sit outside on the patio. I popped my "Jery's Pizza" cherry this evening. When I first called, I asked the gentleman what would he recommend between the Chicken Parm Sub or the Meatball Sub. He said the Meatball was amazing and boy was he right! The sauce was rich with flavor and the meatball was delicious! I also ordered a Supreme Pizza, well done.
