They opened right at 11:00a, we were the first to place our order, quoted a 30 minute wait and received it right at 30 minutes! The best part is it's so fresh and tasty because they prepare and cook as you order. We placed a phone order and unfortunately got there after they had already closed because of traffic. Even though we arrived late, the employee who helped me was so kind and nice. I really appreciated the excellent customer service and how understanding they were. One thing to keep in mind is that the food does take a little longer to prepare, but that's because everything is made fresh to order--and you can definitely taste the difference! I was excited as I love the sweet nutty flavor of red snapper.  I watched as the fish fried.  Red snapper was coated in cornmeal batter and was crunchy on the outside.  Normally cornmeal batter has a slightly sweet and slightly salty flavor.  I didn't taste much from either the batter or the fish other than the fried batter flavor. Fries were very crunchy and dry.  Not overcooked but close. I added 5 shrimp to the order.  There was a ton of batter and some kind of hot sauce used to season the batter which hid the flavor of the shrimp.  I did not like the flavor so I gave the rest of the shrimp to Maggie who didn't like the flavor of the oil or the batter. White fish was fried in a tempura batter infused with herbs.  White fish had a mild flavor and was nice and moist.  Batter was crunchy. Onion rings were mostly crunchy except the batter was too thick so some parts of the batter were not transformed by the frying process into crunchy goodness.   I didn't like the flavor of the herbs in the batter which distracted from the fried onion flavor. Service from the guy in charge was friendly and efficient.  My combo was $12.99 which is a great deal.  I'd order the fish again but not the onion rings.  Doing further research I found they are also listed on Yelp as BFF Burgers, Fish and Fries.  So that's the story on my lunch adventure.
