Love the gyro plate. Grandkids loved the B1G1 Pizza Nice enough atmosphere. Friendly. Although I must say the reason I didn't give it a 5 Star is because our waiter was pretty slow on refills, didn't bring my salad until after my entree' and when my grand daughter accidentally spilled her drink all over the table AND our food. I would've thought the waiter would've at least offered to check to see if they could replace our order since the pizza dough and my pita bread became soggy from the liquid and I hadn't even had the first bite of my food when it happened and my salad wasn't even there yet.... granted it wasn't his or their fault it was wet/soggy as a customer service perspective I thought at least the courteous thing would've been to have offered to try to see if the manager would allow it. But he was young (probably 16-18 years old) so I doubt he has the life experience to know he should've offered something to help our experience be better... even though it wasn't their fault - but accidents happen.... read more

The Dining Divas went to Fernando's in East Ridge today for lunch. There were 12 of us and we were seated immediately but at two different tables although they were side by side. Our server, Marie,was on the ball. She kept everything filled and our table clean. If you are looking for a place to get a hardy meal in a hurry, then this is your place. The atmosphere is on the drab side and while most of the buffet was fresh, some of the vegetables were canned. The stuffed bell peppers were excellent as was the cornbread, but the beans were not seasoned and most of the vegetables were bland. The salad bar had a good variety but the pizza was cold. It is not someplace we would chose for a nice dinner out with friends. We rated it a 3.5 out of 5. read more

Um, I don't even know where to start. Ok, our waiter was excellent...The food was from a box any cook can doctor up boxed mashed potatoes and make them good, the "cook" didn't even make a effort. I hate to give bad reviews but this place was terrible. All I can say is to our waiter please go get you a decent job you are to good to be here :( read more

I ordered a fried turkey on 11/16 to be picked up at 2:30. I got there and there were cars lined up down the block and a line inside. Everyone who was there before me got their meals a little after 3:10 and people after me got their meals quicker. Apprently they were slammed. The turkey from what I tasted so far (a pinch of the skin) seems ok for what I paid. It's absolutely a decent little place. Now it's not somewhere I'd take someone out; just if you're hungry and lazy they can put together something that'll feed you. I actually really enjoy the calzones. Pizzas look great as well. Order from these two and you'll be satisfied. read more

Went when they first opened and didn't like it. 2 yrs later (fathers day) decided to try it again. Wouldn't go back! Way too expensive (breakfast) for what you get plus if you go there with a "one day" expired coupon, they won't accept it. "Excuse me for grabbing the wrong coupon while walking out the door". They don't care about customer retention at all. Low quality food (pizza was good) Pay a bit more and go to a real buffet like Golden Corral. Adios forever Fernandos! read more

This review is for the Fernando's in Ringgold, GA. I'm not sure if the two locations are related, but based on some of the other reviews, I believe so. I have worked in restaurants most of my life and because of that I am an excellent tipper and have also never left a bad review. But also because of that, if I am paying for food, I expect it be good. (Obviously, I would prefer it be great!) To be fair, we should've left when we saw the buffet. I could tell it looked like low quality ingredients. I could go on and on about the food, but the most concise way to paint a picture is to say that it is a cross between hospital food and cafeteria food. Everything is out of a can and unseasoned. We still left a 20% tip because it's not the server's fault. Please go anywhere else! To put a positive spin on it... at least now we know! read more

We tried this place for a late breakfast. Everything was good, service was friendly and efficient. I noticed there were either good or bad reviews on the food bar. I'm going to have to try it before comment. The bar was was being set up as we were leaving and it looked to be okay. Right now I'm sticking with the four stars. Fernando, Christy & the staff at Fernando's has been a huge blessing to our group. We take 60+ ppl in at one time & the food is still the quality as if we just ate by ourself. They are courteous & go the extra mile for our group! We highly recommend them. read more

We ate here for lunch, off of the buffet bar. It was not good. All the food was bland, no seasoning at all. Most of the vegetable sides tasted like the were out of a can. For my family of 3 we paid around $40 for bad food. We will not be going back and hopefully this helps someone else not waste their money like we did. read more

We decided to try the new location in Ringgold. It's only been open a couple of weeks so we did expect some bumps. Service was good, prices were good and portions were good. I ate a hamburger and it was a very good one. My wife enjoyed the salad bar. I asked for a "sample" of the fried chicken on the buffet. Everything was good. I have never been a fan of Italian food on a buffet, but everything else looked very good. Big menu with several options. We plan on returning! read more

If I could give this place only one star, I would. When the hubby and I went there the first time the food was really good, so we thought we had found another "good" place to eat....wrong. We decided to go a few more times to make sure. Each time the food and service got progressively worse. It's a shame when you practically have to beg for a drink refill....especially when they're not busy. The last time we went we had expected them to have hamburger steak on the buffet....since they usually do on the weekends. We were rudely told by the waitress....well, we usually do....but not tonight. Really? We then had to wait at least 15 minutes each time for drink refills. At least 2 times our waitress walked right by our table and could clearly see that our glasses were empty. One time she walked in the opposite direction and around other tables to avoid going by ours. Really? How childish. Did she get a tip....no. This is the only buffet I have ever eaten at where there were no desserts on the buffet either. A piece of cake will set you back 7 bucks. This place must think it's City Cafe....its not. Last 2 times the hubby and I got sick eating there. One time would have been a coincedance....but 2 times in a row. I don't think so. We will not be going back. The staff is rude and lazy. The food is sub par. Save your stomach and money. Go to Wally's or Jenkins Buffet instead. read more

Had breakfast here while waiting for a local store to open. Basic decor, nice staff and good food. Multiple menu choices. Reasonable prices.

These are the same people who used to operate The Family Table and the food is just like I remembered. It is good, old-fashioned diner food, and yummy pizza at an incredible value. Don't come in expecting a gourmet experience and you won't be disappointed. GREAT for kids! read more
