We had breakfast at Fergusons cafe and it was delicious! The staff were efficient and friendly! The decor is an old school diner with movie memorabilia from Spokane filmed movies like Benny and Joon! The menu has cute movie themed names for their food items! I loved it all! I highly recommended Fergusons for breakfast or lunch!

In all my 50+ years in Spokane, I have never been to Ferguson's Cafe. The same cafe featured in Benny & Joon. I was out with my Mom today, running some errands and she tells me she really wanted a cherry shake. With that, we headed up to Garland. Our first plan was Mary Lou's Milk Bottle, but there weren't any seats, so we decided to try Ferguson's. Earlier in the day, she had also told me she really wanted "runny eggs with toast." Well, at Ferguson's she got that and her cherry shake. I ordered their Hammy Whammy. It was huge and messy. I couldn't eat it all, but it did have great flavor. I even tried a little of the hoagie roll, and it also tasted pretty good. Honestly, I cannot believe it's taken me so long to get to this cute little spot.

We've wanted to eat at Ferguson's Cafe for awhile now. Finally made it in a few weeks ago. We were seated immediately and our server was super pleasant. I decided to try the Sonnenbergs sausage and to my delight it was delicious. I cleaned my whole plate. ( that doesn't happen often). They also have malted shakes which made my husband happy. That was also delicious. We really enjoyed our lunch. Can't wait to come back. Definitely worth a stop. Prices are moderate and affordable. A very Cozy atmosphere and welcoming.

Good food and prices! Went in on a rush Saturday mid morning... Service was a little slow but staff was friendly. Love the pancakes.

The two…read moreburgers were overworked by the cook; would call him/her a chef, except a chef would not have ruined the burgers. Both burgers were too hard and way too overcooked. I am talking no juice dry. The way the patties were made made it difficult to even eat. They were so roundish that I could barely keep them together in the bun. To make the burger even dryer, there was no sauce of any kind on/in the bun and the meat had not been seasoned at all during cooking, so it was dry and bland. Too make matters worse I had to ask for a side of mayo and they charged me 75 cents - are you kidding me? I was hesitant to ask for some mustard and ketchup, which should have already been at or brought to the table to begin with. The waitress was pleasant, but I had to ask for everything. I would have returned the burger, but I was having lunch with a friend and did not want to ruin the encounter. I got the batter fries, which were crispy and seasoned well, but with the dry burger the fries didn't help. At that moment I wish I had ordered the side salad instead, as my friend's looked mouthwatering and my mouth needed watering; LOL. Anyway, the burger and fries, with water came to almost $25, with tip. I had been there once before, but I couldn't remember what I had; it was that memorable. I hate McDonald's and have not been there in about a decade, but I would have gladly eaten a double quarter pounder, with cheese, and some fries over this overpriced cotton mouth special. These guys were not even busy, so there is no excuse for the unsatisfactory food. I will not be back.

Service was ok until about noon when help arrived and then it was great. They were really nice e and trying hard just misjudged the lunch rush it seemed like. Classic burger/shake/fries kinda experience. Hand cut fries were perfect. Needed salt, but we're excellent otherwise. Burgers were excellent. Wife is a bacon snob and it was excellent. Buns stole the show though. Kinda like a soft bolo? Seems custom. Was excellent, see photo. Do take CC. Didn't in the past... Go

The fries have some skins on them which I love. Always freshly cooked. I recommend the River City Sludge milkshake (my partner and I split the milkshake because it comes in the fancy glass as shown with the extras in the metal cup it's made in). My partner is a vegetarian and gets the veggie melt. Ranch and fry sauce are yummy and the potato salad is good (I add a little more mustard for my own preference). This is one of my favorite places and I would be lying if I said this place wasn't part of the reason I moved to Spokane. Staff are always friendly, service is great, and it has a cute diner feel to it.
