I hired Jeremy Ferguson to do our kids/guest bathroom a couple of years ago, and he and his team did a very good job. So when it came time to tackle the master bath/closet, I reached out to him again for an estimate, along with a couple of other contractors.
From the start, Jeremy's knowledge about remodeling, his concern about my vision and budget, and his professionalism raised his estimate above the others. My experience with him from the other project made the decision to work with Jeremy even easier.
The process was longer than we expected, and some of the issues we ran into were long turn around times from the city for the permit, delays for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years), and of course, the unplanned frozen tundra week we had in February. But in the end, we got the bathroom of our dreams.
Some parameters of the project: we completed gutted the existing space, and, aside from keeping the toilet in the same location, everything else was changed. We went from a tiny 3' x 3' enclosed shower with a separate tub to a beautiful walk-in, glass-walled shower. Jeremy had a carpeted work with my Pinterest finds to come up with some custom cabinetry for me, and the results are beautiful, solid, wood cabinets that give us plenty of storage and work perfectly in the space.
The best part of working with Jeremy is that he does not cut corners, he puts in quality work, he will fix anything that doesn't meet your standards, he works with great plumbers, electricians, and his guys are super nice as well. They always made sure to meet my expectations, even when the cabinets required yet another coat of stain because the very light color I picked just did not get dark enough until the fourth coat.
I really appreciated all the work that Jeremy and his team put into my project and their attention to detail and quality. The city inspector even said he would hire Jeremy to do his bathroom after seeing the work he did during his inspection of my house.
I highly recommend! read more
