Everything was clean, no dust and no cluttered vibe, and they had such a large selection that you almost needed to do three rounds to take everything in. The prices were great, the service was upbeat, and we loved their dog gift section. We decided if they had a location near us we would probably be there every weekend. All in all, Placerville True Value Hardware is a definite must visit and not to be missed.

My husband made the common mistake of putting the oil and gas in the wrong reservoirs. He took it to the independent store to have it cleaned out. The wanted a minimum of $85 to repair and said they had as much as a two month wait to get it back. My husband is in the middle of a wood cutting project and couldn't wait. I looked on Yelp to try to locate another repair shop and came across good reviews for True Value on Missouri Flat. He was pleasantly surprised when he walked into True Value today with his chainsaw and Joe, knowing we didn't but it there, fixed it on the spot for FREE! My husband offered to pay but Joe said, "really, no charge". We will be making our future purchases from True Value!

Tried it out and instantly realized it was the wrong head for my whacker. Took it back the same day, with the receipt, and found the correct size head on a side aisle. Tried to return the wrong head and buy the more expensive correct head, but they would not let me return the wrong size head because it was used for 60 seconds. You can argue that I should have made sure it was the correct size, but the big box stores don't care if you use a product that does not work out. And True Value's prices are high enough that they should be willing to absorb the cost of my barely-used whacker head since I was obviously buying a more expensive head. I will not shop here ever again. Their return policy stinks.

I had to ask him a few times to send that quote to me and when I finally got my quote it did not include the counter tops or sink or the install as I originally requested I finally got my quote with the wrong sink and was over $6000. The installer Korneli did a no show and no communication. I would not recommend this store for kitchen cabinets and counter tops ever.

Two of the hoses in my backyard are connected to the VERY BEEFY, dual brass, hose connector adapter attached to a powerful, rotating, jet sprinkler which will spray the roofline 360°. Best of all, connecting the dual brass hose connector adapter to the existing backyard faucet bib was easy and uncomplicated installing.
