Went here today after calling ahead for 1 hour massage and confirming the price ($50). I usually go to Divine Foot Spa in Fountain Valley, where I get excellent service in a super clean environment, but they were all booked today. However my legs were really aching from 3 consecutive weekends of hard hikes and I needed relief today. Anyway, I walk in, and the guy at the front asked for money upfront. Unusual, but no problem- I pay up, was shown a room and went in. In came a lady, spoke limited English (not a problem, she was able to understand basic instructions), explained to her that I need more focus on the legs and she understood. The white towel placed around the face cradle of the massage table did not smell fresh, I was not sure if it was not changed after prior use. The massage was Excellent! She applied the right pressure, knew all the knots and it felt really good. She also did some back massage and that was very relieving as well. Soon after, it didn't seem like an hour, but she wrapped up. I got up and was picking up my things and she stood waiting there - of course, a tip is appropriate, and I was planning to give anyway. At my other place, they charge $35 for an hour & I give a $20 tip, so usually $55/hour for me & it's a good deal. With that in mind, I gave her a $10 bill (since I already paid $50 upfront), she just stands there, peering into my wallet, points her finger at it and says "one more, one more". Okay, I thought - She did a good job, and I don't mind giving some more. Gave her a second $10 (total $20 tip) and stepped out. I get into my car, look at the clock and I was in for less than 40 minutes. All that when I was charged for 1 full hour! Asking for a bit extra in tip, on top of a more than normal hourly price, can be understood, but short charging customers on time- that is not nice at all. Overall, good massage, but short on integrity & borderline greedy. This visit was good in that I got what I want, but felt shortchanged and taken advantage of, in the process. Went in for the first time today and got the 60min foot massage. Called to check availability and was told they could take me as a walk in right away. Can't beat $25/60min. They give you the whole 60min too. None of that BS at like American/white owned places where they count 10min for changing. The massage starts with the feet soaking in hot water and you're covered with a towel face up while you get pressure points with a head and neck massage. Then he works your feet and then arms with a towel over your eyes. I had in a tank top and comfortable shorts on. When I was to flip over I was asked if I wanted oil on my back and if I wanted to take my shirt off or leave it on. They can work out knots even with a towel over you. I took off my shirt but not my bra since I felt a bit exposed in the semi private room separated by curtains. After the use of oil, a hot towel is used to wipe away any excess. The pressure was amazing and you're being stretched while being massages and I honestly think it made all the difference and made the massage that much better. I go to an American/white owned Chiropractic office for massages and adjustments once a week, but their licensed massage therapists don't come anywhere close to the relief I felt today and they charge $100/hr. I think I found my new go to place. Honestly it was soo good and you can't beat the price. Only tough part was his English is bad and they don't ask if you have any injuries or don't want certain parts worked. They seem to have a head to toe routine and just go with it unless you speak up. BE CAUTIOUS, when putting your feet in the water. Sometimes its a lil too hot, for those that are sensitive to hot water. Second, they start w/you lying on your back, massage your face, shoulders & back. Third, feet for a good amount of time then legs. They stretch your legs out, bend them & move them around. Fourth, come up & massage your arms & hands. Fifth, turn you around do your back & you're good to go. Why 3 stars, you ask? They need to hire more staff. I saw the menu on Yelp and there were rates for Foot Massage Only, so I knew this place was for me. The man at the front desk was very friendly when I walked in, about an hour after opening, and he suggested a 30 minute foot massage. I requested a 40 minute session and he took me back to the massage room. I asked to use the bathroom, and when I can back, the foot bath was hot and ready for me. The masseuse used a heavy, deep pressure that hurt so good. My only wish was that I had gotten an hour session. There was some massage of my legs, maybe 3-4 minutes total, but the rest of the time was spent on my feet. I paid my $20 and added a $10 tip, cash because I hate being charged extra for using a card. Well to start off, this is my first visit to a massage parlor. The wife wanted me to try it out, since she comes to this place often to get foot massages. Well I figured I go all the way, and just do a 30 min body massage. So I ventured in and tried it out. So we set up an appt. and show up. My wife goes and does her reg. foot massage, and I get a pvt room . So the masseuse takes me in, and points to table. Since I hadn't been here before, not sure what I was supposed to do. So she came back and asked to lay flat on table and take shirt off. So I did. Oh man, best "first" massage ever. She did my back, shoulders, legs, chest...all for $25 dollar. Not bad. I would definitely do this place again. Only thing I didn't like was the lady who did my massage didn't really speak to much English, so hard to communicate with her. After more than a dozen good massages here ive decided to not return. My usual $20 1 hr foot massage got weird after a 20 min wait even when arriving on time for the appointment. When i asked about why there was a wait, i was told something with the AC breaking and home depot in broken English. The ac was working fine when I arrived and couldn't understand what relevance that had to warrant such a long wait. I guess he felt bad because he offered fruit and tea to me and my girlfriend which is fine but then he used a business card to swipe down my arm to get my attention when i was looking away. I figured maybe it's a cultural difference but still gross The massage itself felt really rushed and there were new things thrown into the mix that had never been a part of my past massages. i.e. a creepy finger walk on the leg? It all made me feel unrelaxed and uncomfortable. All i could think about was please get better, my shoulders are killing me and then.. Ok yea screw this place. I called in to make a 6pm appointment but showed up about 10 mins late. Ending up having to wait about 20 mins to go in but the lady Coco was very nice. Asked if I wanted the massage for 30 or an hour. I took the hour and took off my clothes leaving my t-shirt and boxers on. She asked me to pay first which I did for $40 and added a $10 tip hoping that would inspire her to do a really good job. The room was very dark but did have a clean table and towels and dim light. It was so dark I couldn't even see the clothing hooks and just threw mine on the floor. When she returned she said remove shorts and clothes and I was like okay here we go now. So I layed down and the went to work right on 'dem cheeks. It was wonderful. She worked the arms, back, the back of my head, shoulders, all the way down to my legs. She then had me flip over and did that as well while rubbing it all with oil. It was so good that after the hour had passed I hadn't noticed we had already went an hour in and she hadn't touched my feet which was really what I came in for. I immediately asked how much more for 30 mins on my feet and she said $30 but told me I could pay when I was finished. She then went to work on my dogs and they were barking the whole time. When all was said and done I gave her another $10 tip for a total of $80 for a full body and foot massage for an hour and a half ending just after 8pm. It was money well spent. read more

I am always on a look out for great foot massage places and this is my new favorite. I have been to many of these foot massage joints and this one has become my regular place. They have done a great job at trying to create a quiet and tranquil environment. I usually get the man that answers the phone. He has a great touch and speaks enough English to take direction well. He always remembers me and knows how i like it. Things you should know... 1. There is a Mexican restaurant next door that plays music super loud so plan accordingly. I go friday or sat nights and have got lucky and they have been closed lately. I've also had a massage while the music was playing and it ruined the experience completely. But come on its $20 for a hour and you can tell foot sole good is trying to make it nice and quite. 2. They take your top off and pull your pants down pretty low when your face down. This is not unlike western style massage where your nude but covered by a sheet but if its unexpected some may raise a brow. Its super dark inside and the chairs are semi private so settle down its completely on the up and up. Wear comfy loose clothing. 3. This one falls on the clients coming in and out shhhhhhhhhh! Its dimly lit, everyone is whispering so take a hint and keep it down as to not kill it for those receiving their massage. 4. Tipping. They do expect a tip. I have seen some follow you out to your car for a tip but i feel they are very gracious about it at foot sole good. All in all this is not a day spa but it is a fantastic place to unwind after a long week if your on a budget. I feel it rightfully earns 5 stars! Way to go foot sole good! read more

A little freaked out after reading other people's reviews... Might I add that this is the first time I ever get a massage done other than sobadores. Anyway, I came to this location about 4-5 months ago. I don't recall the exact package I got but I know it was at least an hour and it was full body plus feet. I was attended by an older man , name I forgot. There was also a female in the establishment but she disappeared to the back. He first started off with a foot massage in which he asked me to take off my pants, thought that was odd but I went with the flow since I assumed that's what they normally do. He then asked me to go to another room for the full body, where he asked me to get completely naked. Again, the request seemed a bit odd but since it was a full body massage I thought that's what you were suppose to do. Everything was fine until he started massaging my legs. Like others have said ( not sure if it's the same guy) they spread your legs in weird positions that definitely will expose your private parts even if you have a sheet on top of you. When he massaged my thighs he reached all the way up, which made me super uncomfortable! I asked him to stop, he then told me to flip over , mind you I was completely naked, so he could massage my "stomach" . I refused. Told him to focus on my upper back. I was so uncomfortable during the whole massage I literally did not enjoy it one bit. After the massage was over, I gave him a good tip since that's what I normally do wherever I go. He proceeded to compliment me and tell me that I reminded him of the chairman of China, Mao Zedong (don't know why). Lmao he then picked up the phone they have at the location, looked through the caller ID to find my number and saved it as a contact on the phone. Best massage I have ever had! It may hurt in the beginning but they need it through until the pain is no longer there. After the massage you feel like a brand new person, it feels like you're walking on air and you can breathe better. I also noticed that I had better posture after as well.
