I just called today just to ask how much for their massage services. Not friendly customer service. Rude.

However, we later realized that both of us were bitten by bugs while lying on separate massage beds. Over the past few days, the bites have become worse, and the affected areas are now swollen and irritated. We wanted to let you know and kindly ask that you inspect and disinfect the room to prevent this from happening to other customers. Thank you.

We were here late night just before closing for a not so regular massage. My choice was to request Mary who was no longer working. So my GF got Peter, and my masseuse was Woody. We both had the same Massage a one hour combo with oil and stones, total $90. This packet starts with foot bath, face up massage, then turn over for back in neck. A massage experience is mostly attributable to the masseuse, but mine was very well done. My GF had a lot of back pain, and was relieved of most of it during the massage, with a little help from naproxen. Overall, definitely a good deal well executed, reasonably priced and beneficial, although not much English has spoken in this establishment. Well recommended, we will return.

They really cover every inch of your body with the 70 min combo massage (neck, shoulders, back, butt, legs, arms, face, head, feet). After leaving I felt like I was floating; very relaxed and muscles with increased mobility. The only downside to this spot is that the rooms are not separated by ceiling to floor walls so you can hear the massages happening next to you, customers coming in, and when the boba shop next door's blender. It does take away from the experience a bit, but I do feel that the massage is still very worth it. Also, their prices in store do not match what is listed online, so I've included the updated ones here.

It had gotten so bad that I couldn't even move my arm behind my back to button or zip my dress. The stiffness and pain were overwhelming, so I decided to try a deep tissue massage at a local place near our house and I'm so glad I did. We found Grand Massage in La Mirada and decided to give it a try since it was local. We called ahead, and they were able to take us as a walk-in within 30 minutes. We arrived for a 7:30 PM appointment (they close at 9 PM), and the experience started off smooth. The atmosphere is dimly lit, calm, and relaxing, though not overly fancy, more quaint and comfortable. What stood out to me was the music lol it wasn't the typical spa sounds. Instead, they played soft instrumental versions of artists like Elton John and Cyndi Lauper, which gave it a unique and surprisingly different vibe. My daughter and I did a couples massage, and they placed us in a cozy private room together. ‍ The Massage Experience: My therapist, Sunnle, was absolutely amazing. She asked about my pressure preference, and when I said I was in pain she offered medication (which I declined) but I did ask for a deep tissue with firm pressure, and she delivered! She worked through the knots with precision and strength, even using techniques where she applied deeper pressure from above the table. I chose the 70-minute combo (40 min body + 30 min foot massage), and every minute was worth it. The hot stones added an extra level of relaxation and muscle relief. My daughter had a 60-minute full body massage with Yoyo, and she said her experience was just as great. The Results: This is the part that shocked me... Immediately after my massage, my range of motion was improving. I could move my arm again without that intense pain and stiffness. I felt like a completely different person! Pricing: * My massage (70 min combo): $55 * My daughter's (60 min full body): $50 * Total: $109 for both of us That is an incredible value, especially compared to high-end spas that charge that much for just one session. Important Note: Tips are expected (not optional), so just be prepared for that. However, the service absolutely deserves it. Final Thoughts: If you are dealing with pain, tension, or limited mobility, I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you can book with Sunnle or Yoyo. This was hands down one of the best decisions I've made for my health and body, and I will definitely be returning. 10/10 experience. Relief, value, and results!

Sorra at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. She took the time to explain the services they offer and even asked if it was my first Thai massage, which I appreciated because it showed she genuinely cared about understanding my expectations and comfort level. But the real star of the show was Nikki. Without a doubt, Nikki is the best massage therapist I have ever had--across both the United States and the Philippines. And that's saying a lot. I came in carrying the consequences of two consecutive workout days, tension headaches from work, and what felt like months' worth of stress stored in my muscles. Nikki immediately knew exactly what needed attention. She found every sore spot with incredible precision and consistently checked in to make sure the pressure was right. What impressed me most was that she didn't just provide a massage--she educated me throughout the session. She explained the importance of stretching, muscle recovery, circulation, and how tension affects the body. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident in everything she did. Every movement felt intentional, calculated, and therapeutic. She worked diligently from head to toe, and when I requested extra attention to my neck and head toward the end, she delivered exactly what I needed. She could immediately tell how tight and overworked my muscles were. Even the way she incorporated back-walking techniques felt incredibly controlled, safe, and effective. By the end of the session, I genuinely felt like a brand-new person. The heaviness I walked in with was gone. My pain and discomfort improved dramatically, and I felt lighter, looser, and more relaxed than I had in weeks. And can we talk about the balm she used? Absolutely magical. It had that soothing hot-cool sensation similar to Bengay, but far more refined and relaxing. Not overly hot, not overly cold--just perfect. Beyond her technical skill, Nikki was simply wonderful to talk to. She thoroughly explained what she was doing, shared stories about her life and her children, and made the entire experience feel personal and comfortable. She is relatable, genuine, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to connect with. There are good massages, there are great massages, and then there are the rare experiences that remind you what true expertise feels like. Nikki delivered that experience. If you're considering booking here, do yourself a favor and request Nikki. Your body will thank you. One final touch that made the experience even more special was the tea they served after the massage. Thank you, Sorra! I had to request for an extra cup. I honestly don't know exactly what kind it was, but it was absolutely delicious. I was told it was imported from Thailand, and it was the perfect way to end the session. Warm, soothing, and incredibly flavorful--it complemented the entire experience beautifully. It may seem like a small detail, but it's those thoughtful touches that make a place memorable!

Be prepared to be harassed to tip over 25% -- and when I mean,…read moreharassed, I mean cornered by your massage therapist, the front desk lady, and the male manager with your debt card being held hostage unless you tip more. I understand that times are tough for everybody, but asking for over 25% of a tip, then becoming disgruntled and refusing to give me my change or debt card back while and calling Mangement is a very poor reflection of this business and how they treat their employees with their hourly wage if they even get one. The entire experience was very uncomfortable. There's not much privacy so when you're undressing, you better hope that there's not someone walking past cause they can obviously see you through the thin curtains. The environment had roaches in the bathroom. It was rough. The services were OK maybe a 7-8/10. I tipped 20% just to get my debt card back and leave. I won't be coming back here because how awkward, tacky, and unprofessional my experience was. Responding to the "owner" below: I know how to do math. Therapist got 20$ cash (broken from $100) after refusing to accept my 13$ tip. I paid 105$ on my card -- I even went as far as to show your therapist the math on a calculator on my phone to try to communicate the reasoning behind my tipping. You left your therapist out to dry instead of trying to help communicate to her, you walked away. Customary tipping in the United States is between 12-15% aka $12.50 - $15.75. This is supplementally to their hourly wage. Trust me I'm not anti-tipping, I just don't agree with how I was mistreated. For outstanding service: then the tipping would be 15-20%. Which by the way, after you three harassed me your therapist STILL got $20 just for me get out of the establishment -- so good on you for making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, your therapist still got what she requested, so remind me what the issue is? Furthermore, $20 USD is equivalent to ¥136.57 CNY and ¥ 3143.71 JPY as of closing today, which is well over what the standard wage within both those economies. Also -- why are we quoting ¥ when I paid in USD -- are customers suppose to be paying in different currency? Totally fine if we are but I was not made aware of that and it seems you and your therapist got a fair compensation per USD and ¥ standards. I'm a business owner too -- and my employees see tips as just extras because of their proper compensation, I do that intentionally so situations like this don't put my customers or employees in an uncomfortable situation. The conversation would have been different if you and your staff weren't so rude. If you read the review thoroughly you would see that the issue wasn't the therapist's service per say. The issue was the following in more detail, since a simple "sorry for your bad experience" is no longer a thing and you've insulted me -- the customer: - it seems like accountability is a new concept to you -- meanwhile you left your therapist to fend for herself with her bad attitude and not knowing how to communicate with the customer. Her desperation for an additional $5 is alarming, which is where the comment of "IF SHE EVEN GETS AN HOURLY WAGE" came from. This whole experience must have been stressful for her too especially without proper training or support. - Interesting how the male client that walked in while I was at the front trying to pay and leave was treated much differently. ALSO, interesting how you felt the need to respond to my review when there was another negative review right below this one. I wouldn't go as far as to say sexist and racist behavior -- but this response shows for itself. - AND be sure to properly display the licenses of your establishment AND your therapists' licenses from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) at the front of the establishment. "...massage therapists must display their original CAMTC certificate (not a copy) in a conspicuous, public place at their workplace. This is typically in the reception, waiting area, or a visible location at the entrance" THIS IS THE LAW and I certainly didn't see any of the many therapists' state issued licenses anywhere in the common areas. - the questionable working environment with employees napping and bugs in the facility is the least of the issues, although upsetting is fixable. I fear this place has other more important issues to address. - the ATROCIOUS behavior you all exhibited in response and your therapist's harassment. Your defensive response shows for itself, instead of being a keyboard warrior, lead by a better example for your employees. Everything about this experience has been sketchy especially now realizing there weren't proper documentations displayed and your behavior in response thats not warranted.

First off, when I called, I'm greeted with a "hello"... not a "Hi, thanks for calling A Luis…read moremassage" or even a "how can I help you?" Then I booked an appointment for 8pm. I drove to the place, parked and received a call 5 mins before my appointment saying that it is no longer available?!!? Terrible business practice, will not be going back.
