This is my first time here. Be prepared to be harassed to tip over 25% -- and when I mean, harassed, I mean cornered by your massage therapist, the front desk lady, and the male manager with your debt card being held hostage unless you tip more. I understand that times are tough for everybody, but asking for over 25% of a tip, then becoming disgruntled and refusing to give me my change or debt card back while and calling Mangement is a very poor reflection of this business and how they treat their employees with their hourly wage if they even get one. The entire experience was very uncomfortable. There's not much privacy so when you're undressing, you better hope that there's not someone walking past cause they can obviously see you through the thin curtains. The environment had roaches in the bathroom. It was rough. The services were OK maybe a 7-8/10. I tipped 20% just to get my debt card back and leave. I won't be coming back here because how awkward, tacky, and unprofessional my experience was. Responding to the "owner" below: I know how to do math. Therapist got 20$ cash (broken from $100) after refusing to accept my 13$ tip. I paid 105$ on my card -- I even went as far as to show your therapist the math on a calculator on my phone to try to communicate the reasoning behind my tipping. You left your therapist out to dry instead of trying to help communicate to her, you walked away. Customary tipping in the United States is between 12-15% aka $12.50 - $15.75. This is supplementally to their hourly wage. Trust me I'm not anti-tipping, I just don't agree with how I was mistreated. For outstanding service: then the tipping would be 15-20%. Which by the way, after you three harassed me your therapist STILL got $20 just for me get out of the establishment -- so good on you for making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, your therapist still got what she requested, so remind me what the issue is? Furthermore, $20 USD is equivalent to ¥136.57 CNY and ¥ 3143.71 JPY as of closing today, which is well over what the standard wage within both those economies. Also -- why are we quoting ¥ when I paid in USD -- are customers suppose to be paying in different currency? Totally fine if we are but I was not made aware of that and it seems you and your therapist got a fair compensation per USD and ¥ standards. I'm a business owner too -- and my employees see tips as just extras because of their proper compensation, I do that intentionally so situations like this don't put my customers or employees in an uncomfortable situation. The conversation would have been different if you and your staff weren't so rude. If you read the review thoroughly you would see that the issue wasn't the therapist's service per say. The issue was the following in more detail, since a simple "sorry for your bad experience" is no longer a thing and you've insulted me -- the customer: - it seems like accountability is a new concept to you -- meanwhile you left your therapist to fend for herself with her bad attitude and not knowing how to communicate with the customer. Her desperation for an additional $5 is alarming, which is where the comment of "IF SHE EVEN GETS AN HOURLY WAGE" came from. This whole experience must have been stressful for her too especially without proper training or support. - Interesting how the male client that walked in while I was at the front trying to pay and leave was treated much differently. ALSO, interesting how you felt the need to respond to my review when there was another negative review right below this one. I wouldn't go as far as to say sexist and racist behavior -- but this response shows for itself. - AND be sure to properly display the licenses of your establishment AND your therapists' licenses from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) at the front of the establishment. "...massage therapists must display their original CAMTC certificate (not a copy) in a conspicuous, public place at their workplace. This is typically in the reception, waiting area, or a visible location at the entrance" THIS IS THE LAW and I certainly didn't see any of the many therapists' state issued licenses anywhere in the common areas. - the questionable working environment with employees napping and bugs in the facility is the least of the issues, although upsetting is fixable. I fear this place has other more important issues to address. - the ATROCIOUS behavior you all exhibited in response and your therapist's harassment. Your defensive response shows for itself, instead of being a keyboard warrior, lead by a better example for your employees. Everything about this experience has been sketchy especially now realizing there weren't proper documentations displayed and your behavior in response thats not warranted. read more

I kept seeing this small location when I went to the post office and a big sign in the windows says foot massage and having a lot of issues with my feet, I thought why not give it a try? The place is different. It's all Chinese massage reflexology, Reiki and traditional but there are not private rooms, just curtained off sections so I was a little leary at first but it only took me about five minutes to start falling in love with Luis when he was working on my feet. With that being said my hour feet, head, sinus, neck, and sciatic massage was amazing. It was so good that I barely noticed. I was only surrounded by curtains. We had a 7:30 PM appointment but weren't taken back until closer to 7:45 PM. We specifically requested to be in the same room together, and while the front desk confirmed and assured us "yes, yes I'll open the room for you," it never happened. During the massage, the stones were extremely hot--so much so that they were painful to the touch. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy the treatment. The most surprising part came at checkout. When I asked if the front desk could pass along our tip, I was told there was a minimum tip of $10-$15 if we "really liked the massage." I was taken aback by this. I've never had a business dictate a minimum gratuity--especially when we were taken back late and the overall experience was not up to the standard we've known here. Tips should always be optional and based on the service received. This left us feeling very disappointed. Great massage if you can handle DEEP, HARD kneading. In the masseuse's defense, I did tell her regular level, but she must've had very strong hands because I have a high pain tolerance and even still found myself clenching my butt & legs because of the pressure of her hands and fingers on my lower body. Visited this week with my boyfriend and opted for the $50 one hour "popular" massage. Overall a good experience and really was happy that hot stones were included! Nothing fancy but it's clean and priced well. Only cons were that the rooms were a little too bright and my masseuse got body oil all over my handbag... my bag was left on the tiny table which was next to the oils and lotion but there was no other place to put it. Had to share another review of my fantastic visit. Last night I went in and got a 60 minute Asian Combo Massage. This begins with neck, shoulders and back for 30 minutes - then moves on to feet and legs. But then moves on to a new table, stripped down to your undies and a hot oil/hot rock massage of neck, shoulders, back and lower back. I asked for it to be softer than usual, and my masseuse Jessi was INCREDIBLE!!! She listened and I left feeling really relaxed. First, my masseuse was definitely distracted during my massage. She consistently would start and stop massaging as if she forgot every minute or so what she was doing, which made it unenjoyable. When I went to tip $5 (on a $50 service) at the end, the receptionist told me that I should tip more. I am in the service industry and I understand how important tipping is, but I would NEVER tell someone that they had to tip me more, because all tips are appreciated but not required, especially if you did not enjoy the service much. I asked, are you telling me to tip more? She said yes, you should tip $10 if you feel good. I said, this is all I can tip today. I've gone to this place twice for prenatal massage. They don't specifically offer it but they are attentive to your prenatal needs (i.e. any fully body/back massage is done side lying). I believe the first time I booked a 90 minute body and foot massage. Then the second time I booked just the foot massage (but even that comes with a scalp/facial and shoulder massage). Like most have said, the foot massage is done separately then the back and body massage is taken to a different table. The masseuses are great and apply good pressure. I feel like my knots are worked great and I feel good after the massage. I wouldn't come here expecting a spa experience though. But if you need anything worked out this place is great! read more

Ever since I found this place a couple years ago, its been my spot! First, it's affordable compared to other places, but because it's so affordable they do ask for a tip $15 minimum. That's how these massage places work! Even with that extra $15 is still not as high as other places. Which if you're coming to these you know why you don't go to the others places. 3x the price & sometimes the same or less quality. Second, I come in very frequently & have had great massages & poor ones too. There are so many masseuse that not everyone is the same. Horrible experience! My masseuse repeatedly ignored my numerous requests to lighten up his pressure and caused me significant pain and discomfort. Multiple times I asked him to lighten his pressure and informed him that he was hurting me and he made no adjustments and ignored me completely. Following the massage, I paid for the service in full and was harassed by the front desk for not tipping. I informed the front desk that I had a bad experience and that I was hurt and my requests for accommodation were ignored. The front desk preceded to guilt trip and berate me for not tipping despite me explaining the situation where my multiple requests were ignored and I was physically hurt by this massage. This is a very dishonest and disgusting business practice. Tips are EARNED for exceptional service. You are not ENTITLED to them, especially when my personal bodily autonomy was violated and I was injured. No one should waste their hard earned money at this establishment. I have cycled through different massage places and even private massage therapists over the last 10 years, and this is my spot! I had Andy today and it was one of the best massages i've had in a long time. He opened the door for me when I walked up, asked my preference for pressure and would check in with me periodically to make sure I was ok, and was very understanding of not fully massaging my left arm because of a new tattoo. I have chronic back pain, but I walked out of my massage today in 0/10 pain. My go-to massage spot in the Fullerton area! My girlfriend and I have been here a few times now and we love it! I can never remember the names of my masseuse so I always end up getting a new person, BUT every single person that has taken care of me was absolutely amazing. They ask if the pressure is okay and make sure that you're comfortable throughout the session. The only thing I'm not 100% satisfied with is the fact that they don't have any "private" rooms. All their beds are curtained off instead of having separate rooms. And since the space is pretty small to begin with, you can hear other guests coming in and chatting with the receptionist or amongst themselves. The last time I was here, I was placed RIGHT behind the receptionist so it was kind of bothersome hearing every little conversation, despite the tranquil music playing in the background.
