She had asked me questions about my pain but you can tell that as she was massaging, she and my body were talking. She took the time to massage and stretch the areas that needed attention. I booked an 80 minute massage and wished I did a longer one. I was pretty sore for a few hours after the massage, and by the time I went to bed I noticed I didn't feel anything. No pain. I booked a 40-minute massage advertised at $40. When I called, I was simply told that the next available time was at 4:45 PM. From that conversation, we were under the impression that any time after 4:45 would be fine, and we were never explicitly told that we were being booked for exactly 4:45 PM. As a result, we arrived a few minutes after 4:45 and the massage began around 4:55 PM. However, the session still ended around 5:25 PM, meaning I paid for a 40-minute massage but only received about 30 minutes of actual massage time. Another odd thing my girlfriend and I noticed was the inconsistency in the massages themselves. We paid for the exact same service, but our experiences were noticeably different. I was assigned a female therapist while my girlfriend was assigned a male therapist, which was perfectly fine, but my girlfriend received a much more thorough massage that included work down her legs, whereas I did not receive the same treatment despite us paying for the same service. It left us confused as to why there was such a difference in what was provided. What really pushed me to write this review, however, was the checkout experience. I offered a $5 tip and was immediately told there was a "$10 minimum." I have absolutely no issue tipping and fully understand that massage therapists deserve to be compensated for their work. However, I have never in my life been told how much I was required to tip, especially when there were no signs, notices, or disclosures stating that gratuity was mandatory. If customers are expected to pay a mandatory $10 gratuity, that should be clearly communicated beforehand or included in the advertised price. Instead, I felt pressured at checkout after already receiving less time than I had paid for. To make matters worse, the difference between a 40-minute massage and a one-hour massage is only $10, meaning I effectively paid the price of an hour-long massage while receiving only about 30 minutes of service. The massage itself was decent, but the lack of communication and transparency completely overshadowed the experience. I left feeling more taken advantage of than relaxed, which is the exact opposite of how a massage experience should end. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I hope management addresses these issues because no customer should pay for 40 minutes, receive 30, and then be told there is a "$10 minimum" tip requirement that was never disclosed beforehand.

Overall, I've had a great experience and continue coming back for a reason. The atmosphere is professional, clean, and relaxing. The treatment rooms have always been clean and organized, the front desk staff is friendly, and I'm always offered water. It's an environment where you can actually disconnect and relax. I've tried several massage add-ons, including hot stones, aromatherapy, and deep tissue, among others. There are plenty of options to customize your massage depending on what you need, and I've found the add-on pricing reasonable. I've also experienced quite a few of their therapists, so here are some recommendations: Maki is one of my favorites if you want firm pressure or have knots and problem areas that need serious attention. She knows how to get in there and work things out--you'll feel it in the best possible way! Lourdes is another standout and is extremely adaptable. She can give you a firm massage when you need it or dial things back for a more relaxing experience. She also offers prenatal massage. Arnold is another great option for firm pressure. For a more relaxing massage, I've had great experiences with Rosalba, Genesis, and Gabrielle as well. Everyone has a slightly different style, which makes it easier to find someone who matches what you're looking for. I also have to mention Samantha, who unfortunately is no longer at this location. She was probably my personal favorite. She somehow combined an incredibly relaxing massage with the ability to find and loosen areas that had been tight for years. I was genuinely disappointed when I had an appointment scheduled and received a call that she was no longer there. I never found out whether she continued doing massage elsewhere, but she was fantastic and deserves recognition. I've also had facials here and have been very happy with those experiences. My one area of constructive criticism is last-minute scheduling changes. In addition to my appointment with Samantha, there have been two or three occasions over the years when I was contacted the same day or within about 24 hours and asked to change an appointment. I understand that people get sick and unexpected things happen, but I think offering a small credit--maybe $10 toward an add-on--when the business has to reschedule someone at the last minute would be a nice way to acknowledge the inconvenience. Overall, though, I'm very impressed with this location. The pricing is competitive and fair, particularly with a membership. You can certainly find cheaper massages elsewhere, but you're getting a different experience here: a private, relaxing environment with professionals who seem passionate about helping people feel better.
