They will push hard for a tip! If you read the reviews other people say it too. When I got done with the massage, the lady was waiting by the door saying "tip! tip?!" And I said excuse me? She said "TIP!" with her hand gesturing money. I gave her a tip, and she held the money up to her manager shaking her head and speaking in her language (as if I didn't give enough). Great quite place to get a massage. I was able to walking on a Tuesday around 3 pm with no wait time. Very clean and dim lit. Plenty of parking and directly off the main street Lambert rd). I've experienced many massages in my life time , many of which were high end. This place blows all those places away. Hands down the best massage every time. You may not get the "luxury " experience " but you will get a great massage! I've seen many people on here complaining about tipping. Tipping culture has definitely gotten out of hand but these types of places the masseuses literally live off tips, so yes they do expect a tip. Literally 10/10 massage place. I had Lulu and OMG she knew what I meant by hard pressure. She got all my knots, my tech neck and got my back to crack like 50 times. I literally had a migraine going into this place and with lulus head and body massage I ascended to heaven for a second. The massage itself was not relaxing at all it seemed like the therapist was just going through the motions rather than actually paying attention to what I needed. What bothered me the most was how uncomfortable the tipping situation was. I was pressured into leaving a higher tip than I felt was deserved, which made the whole experience feel transactional and awkward instead of relaxing. Overall, I would not recommend this place. My masseuse (Lisa) really knows her stuff. In combination of her massages, she has my arms and legs stretching this way and that. Most of the other massages I previously visited all had the same basic standard processes. I was totally surprised when Lisa adding several new "stretches" to the mix. I remember leaving there the first time I got a massage, saying to myself that I finally found a place I can trust to cure my aches and pain. I love it here. Great prices. It was $70 cash for a 90 minute full body massage and I added "joint pain" oil for $5 and cupping for $10. Lisa gave me a hard massage as requested because I hate paying for a weak massage. There was a miscommunication where she thought I only had an hour, so after getting dressed, I went to the front and had to remind the boss that I had 90 minutes and then go back to the massage room for the rest of the massage. I have visited this massage place many times and, in the past, I've generally had good experiences. Unfortunately, my experience last night was very disappointing. This is the second time I have been assigned the bald/shaved-headed male massage therapist, and he did not provide an actual massage. Instead of working on muscle tension or applying proper massage techniques, he mostly rubbed lotion on me and lightly ran his hands across and patted my head. I left feeling like I had not received the massage service I paid for. To make matters worse, after the session my husband gave his massage therapist a $10 tip. The woman at the took the tip and immediately said, "$10 is not for 90 minutes, $15 is. $10 is not good enough. This is very bad." Her comments were rude, unprofessional, and made us feel uncomfortable. A tip is voluntary and should never be demanded or criticized. I let the lady at the front desk know and she offered me a $5 credit on a future visit, however after this I do not see us returning. We have been a repeat customer for a long time, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses both the quality of the massage service and the way customers are treated regarding gratuities. read more
