The person I was with didn't feel comfortable, taking off their undergarment and instead of saying that's OK they said." Well help you take it off " and proceeded to help! For a 60 minute deep tissue massage, the price was only $50 just $5 more than a regular massage. So worth it! There is a definite cultural expectation to tip as part of the cost, they just don't call it their cost. Basically the low cost brings you in and then the mandatory tip is asked before you leave. The tip is even requested by a specific amount. I don't mind leaving a tip but the full cost of a massage should be fully disclosed up front. read more

I have had a great experience at Whittier Massage before the pandemic and after they were allowed to reopen following safety measures. First, they do adhere to all safety guidelines provided by the CDC and LACDPH. all clients wear masks as do the staff.
