I have appreciated Healthways over the years. I have been coming on and off for 7 or 8 years. I have peripheral neuropathy of my feet, and fingers that go numb. (non diabetic, due to pinched nerves). Now without going to my Kaiser doctors and getting a cortizone shot in my neck, I needed something more and something natural, and definitely never surgery. The multitude of adjustments that Dr. Chun did on me throughout several years, I really did see that it helped my posture and I could tell I was standing more erect. Being adjusted regularly reminded me of the importance of sitting up straight and walking taller. I'm by habit such a sloucher, and my wife gets after me on this, but there is just something about spinal health that I 'blew it in' most of my life, along with past injuries which contributed to my physical ailments. Dr. Chun cares to sit and chat with you, explaining things related to your overall health, helping me to understand workings of the spine along with information about my particular problems. You may have noticed other doctors that are observably in and out of the patients room, and not really demonstrating great compassion, well, Dr. Chun really puts his heart into his work and would ask me questions about how I'm feeling and inquiring about my improvements over the course of time. Dr. Chun helps me his patient to verbalize about health, just to know someone wise is walking through it with you is a great asset. He has connected other Healthways staff to my medical case, including their Podiatrist who evaluated a specific problem with the bottom of my feet and I received the right answer which was the exact answer to help me. A long time ago, I was going on an oversees trip and was fearful of the repercussions of the flight, because of neck pain I'd been dealing with, but the Physicians Assistant at Healthways gave me some helpful shots into my muscles which assisted in giving me a pleasant flight, pain free. Healthways has had what I've needed and has been there for me in the and I am assured into the future. I haven't added to the fullness of my experience in using all that Healthways has to offer, but they amazingly cover almost anything you could think of that the body needs to function well. Recently they got this new table, I'm giving the exact name because I asked them for it for my Yelp review. It's called a Leander Flexion Distraction. In the past at other places I've done traction, I've done spinal decompression on that DX9000 machine, I've tried just about everything out there, even the Back to Life from the infomercial on T.V. But, I will tell you, I've only just started on this table and I feel pretty impressed. It's much simpler than other things but appears to have the hallmark of being something that will really help me. Outside of Healthways, I exercise and use the treadmill to keep in good health. Many of you know, the aches and pains of life can resurface or you can have later bout with it, besides all the good you do to maintain health. Previously I was more consistent, but I'm moving forward with a new friend named Flexion. I have a strong feeling that this Flexion table is going to really pick me up, lighten my heavy legs and help me to make great strides forward to better health. First time....went in to see Dr. Chung with a workout related lower back injury. I found that the staff was very nice and attentive. Dr. Chung interviewed me about my injury to access the severity of the issue. Very easy to talk to and extremely knowlegeable. After the exam, he gave his evaluation of my injury and made appropriate recommendation regarding treatments. He was very sensitive to my decision. He focus my needs and what treatment I preferred. He didn't try to up sell me. Very honest. After my treatment the first day, I felt so much better. Throbbing dull pain and burning sensation went away and felt like I was 80-90% better with the chiropractic adjustment and massage.. I highly recommend Dr Chung!! read more

I'd have to say that I have had a great experience here at Healthways. I am always greeted with a warm smile and even though I am new, I have yet to wait to be seen. My first visit, I was blown away at how thorough the Dr was before he had me put through the therapy ringer. Lol. My typical visit consists of a relaxing roller bed with nice heat to it, followed by some hand on work by the therapist, which all are great! Then I go on this table that stretches out my back in an ongoing motion that helped loosen me up really well. Then finally, THE CRACK! lol. Adjustment, as Dr. Chun calls it. I'm in talks to start exercises soon. Whatever it is they have in mind, I'm sure it's going to be great for my body! read more

I cannot say enough about Dr Chun and all the staff here at Healthways. They are awesome!! They always go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, and they always do what they can to make you feel comfortable and healthier. I never leave this place the same way I came in. Dr Chun and his staff are AMAZING! I tried out their Sound Vibration machine and while I was with there I learned so much more about medical care and interventional pain treatments. Not a big fan of back breaking physical therapy and rehabilitation but they tools and resources to help with spinal manipulation, bracing and Chiropractic Love. Dr. Chun is an amazing chiropractor. I came in with a lower back pain problem, figured out the issue (SI joint) and in 3 sessions, I've had no problems! The best part about this medical group, everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and informative. They thoroughly explain what they are doing, what they are going to do and what they expect if you follow their instructions. I play golf and hike weekly so I get stiff and tight in my hip and low back. After Dr. Chun's treatment, my muscles were more relaxed and I felt great!
