I was referred to Dr P by a co worker of mine and so grateful to have been. There is a calm about her voice that allows for her patients to relax and allow the process. She is thorough and explains what she is doing and her touch is not only gentle, but magical. Her pressure hits the spots that, well at least for me anyway, my back needed. Delicia is just wonderful. She's kind, intentional, and down to earth. I started seeing her about 7 months ago when I was 6 months pregnant! She prepared me for my final months of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I strongly believe that I had a successful unmedicated delivery due to the movement that she taught me during my appointments. Had some shoulder pain for months. Finally went to the doctor and they took x rays and said it looked fine. The pain persisted so I went to see Dr. Paredes. I was a bit skeptical at first but the pain bothered me enough to try anything. It's now been almost 2 weeks and the pain is completely gone. At the time of my visit, I was 41 weeks pregnant and attempting to induce labor naturally. I called Dr. P's and I was able to get an appointment the very next day. This review is long overdue! I first started seeing Dr. Paredes 3.5 years ago when my first baby was diagnosed with tongue and lip ties. She was unofficially recommended by La Leche League and also the lactation consultant. My son got his ties revised and we had an amazing nursing relationship. Dr. P is very kind and likeable, and very gentle with babies. She gives you exercises to do at home as well. I also would get adjusted with her and feel great after seeing her. Now my second baby is here with similar issues and her adjustments have helped a lot! Babies don't get any spine adjustments like we do. She does do sacral points which really help with digestion, my kiddos would always have a big poop after...so be prepared for a car seat blow out hah! So today was my very first appointment with Dr. P. This was my very first time visiting a chiropractor ever, so my nerves were high. Currently 8.5 months pregnant with a lot of back, pelvic pain and a diagnosis of scoliosis. Her office is very clean and tidy I appreciated that in times like these. Super chic as well, loved that! She started with my assessment and it was so crazy how she automatically could pinpoint the painful areas. She was very informative and gave me a lot of pointers in my current health. She also was very patient and she explained every single step before continuing my adjustment.
