Dr. Siegel I believe saved my life, literally! I was having occasional pain in my neck, throat area my family doctor couldn't figure it out and sent me to an ear nose throat Specialist. Nothing there either, exam but still no idea. I met Dr. Siegel for the first time four weeks ago because I had wrenched my lower back and was struggling through the pain. (I may have worked out too aggressively while having flashbacks of my younger days, completely forgetting that I had just celebrated my fifty-eighth birthday... sigh... Then haphazardly carrying large buckets of water to water our plants may have twisted my back...) Doctor Siegel kindly saw me and, after interviewing me, told me that the treatment would take four weeks, three times a week. He then manipulated my back, hips, and legs once for each side, followed by attaching some pulse stimulation. To be honest, I silently wondered after that short treatment, "That's it?!?" Well, that was all that he needed to do! By that afternoon, I was walking better and feeling good. Doctor Siegel gradually minimized the frequency of our visits to twice a week down to now, once a week. I feel good as new (well, as new as a repaired and maintained middle-aged man can feel). (OK, don't tell him, and I hope he is not reading this, because he has not cleared me for heavy physical exercise yet, but I have been mildly exercising again... I accompanied my husband to his appointment not expecting to be a client. I inquired about an opening to see if he could fit me in. He was very accommodating and took the time to ask questions about my health. I walked in feeling tired, exhausted, a stiff back, neck and a headache. A headache I couldn't get rid of all morning. Once he worked his magic/science on me I felt A LOT better. The aches and pains I felt all over my body were gone, including my "Tension headache." Turns out, I'm the type of person whose life's ups and downs & life stresses manifest themselves into body tension, aches, headache, & insomnia. Later that evening (Monday), I felt good enough for an easy workout. I went for a 1/2 hour run/walk and returned to the gym the next day (Tuesday) to my regular Kickboxing workout..& my circuit workout (w/weights) on Wednesday. My one and first visit with Dr. Siegel, helped me redirect my stress in the right direction...outside the body. Really helped me with a tweaked back. Dr. Siegel was thorough, kind and gentle. I went yesterday to his practice for an adjustment and muscle/heat therapy and today I feel a significant improvement. I have much more mobility and way less pain. I'm on my way back to normal with a much faster recovery time than if I were just to mend on my own. I have another appointment with him soon. He was also pretty flexible about when I could come in. I rescheduled my appointment on him because I was in a lot of pain and he let me go in same day to get treatment. He also takes insurance which is another plus because I know some chiropractors limit their number of insured patients to make room for patients who can pay out of pocket. The reason I don't give that extra star is because the office definitely needs to be cleaned up. I almost turned around because the place doesn't present itself as professional as the staff and Dr. Siegel truly are. I would recommend anyone to come see him. read more

I have had sciatic pain on and off for the last 8 years. It's usually not that bad. Monday i noticed my lower back was unusually stiff and very sore. I figured i must have slept funny. Monday night i woke up around 1am because the pain was so intense even just laying there and slightly moving in bed. I tried to adjust positions, lay still, lay on my side, with pillows, without pillows etc. Nothing was helping and the pain was just increasing. My husband was out of town for work and i called him at 3am literally crying. I called my sister in law to see if she'd take me to urgent care but her phome was on silent. I took Tylenol PM and eventually fell asleep on the floor by my bed. I woke up at 7am and started looking up chiropractors near me. I noticed Dr. Speigel had great reviews so i called right at 9 am. He answered the phone-no receptionist and told me to come right down. I went. He was very nice, took my insurance and had me fill out a form. Then he asked me questions and asked me to move certain ways to see where the pain was coming from. He adjusted me on both sides and used the electrode things and a heat pad to help with the pain. Yesterday, Wednesday, mid afternoon i noticed the pain had subsided a great deal. I am still very stiff and sore and occasionally get twangs of intense pain but nowhere near like on monday. I went back to him this morning for another adjustment and he recommended i still take it very easy. I am very happy with the professionalism, kindness, and treatment i have received so far. I just started treating with Dr. Siegel. I've never had this particular type of Chiropractic care done before. I'm used to the old school adjusting and such. Dr. Seigel is trying a different type of adjusting very similar to what I'm normally use to. I get ultrasound therapy on my shoulder and lower back traction treatments. I feel good! I love that he takes late appointments and weekends! Really helps!
