Chiropractor Thomas provides bad to poor service. He did not examine the injury site, he didn't ask me to show him exactly where I was injured. My treatment was to lay on an antiquated "roller table" covered by an old beach towel. I laid there past the amount of time he set the timer. He gently pulled on my leg to relieve the pain in my hip. I felt a 10% relief. His office is dingy, the equipment dirty with dark sweat marks and dusty. The curtains used to separate treatment rooms were for a warehouse and not a medical office. Chiropractor Thomas offers nutritional guidance but he is over weight and appears to be out of shape. Now I recall why I stopped seeing him 15 years ago. His receptionist provided outstanding service. She was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Long overdue rating! Ever since the first day I stepped into this place I've wanted to rate it but I was not feeling good-hardly ever. I was nervous as it was my first time at a Chiropractor. The first visit was a free consultation. The Staff and Dr. Thomas always made me feel at ease. I love that Dr. Thomas took the time to truly hear me out! I explained my symptoms and he never made me feel weird - right away he created a plan for me to get better. He truly listened to my ailments as I came in each week and always had a wise approach. I truly appreciate that he believed me unlike doctors I've been to that would write off my symptoms as no big deal. Dr. Thomas told me it could take 6-8 weeks to heal. I went 1x a week for about 4-6 weeks and each week I seen improvements. I would feel a small set back but then I would see double the improvement weeks after. All in all I would cry tears of joy as I was improving weeks after. I didn't have to go back after a month because I felt better! I do plan on setting up an appointment soon just to maintain how good I feel. He truly is a modern day healer. He gives all glory to God for his gifts and I admire his humble approach as a woman of faith myself. What can I say? Miracle worker? Amazing holistic doctor? Backbone Ninja? I came to Dr T at a 9 level of Sciatic pain, and left a 7, then in a couple of more days, no pain of 1. Then to keep pain at bay, I'm getting spine decompression treatments. No need for orthopedic treatments, PT, acupuncture, etc. What an amazing Doctor and I have only good things to say about his practice. He is very professional and explains what he can do for you. He takes insurance, but if not, I'm sure he is very reasonable. They are very accommodating in scheduling, (although I think Covid keeps walk-ins to a minimum). I also like his Covid precautions for each patient. I'm sleeping so much better now and I really appreciate that. read more

I was in town for a little less than 2 weeks and was experiencing severe sciatica pain for about 3 months. I didn't have time to to find a chiropractor at home and was so glad to find Dr.T on my vacation. I had 3 sessions with Dr. T and the pain relief got so much better each time. I love and hate it when the new year starts but I feel as if this year 2015 will be a great change in my life and lifestyle. I am super glad and excited I found a great chiropractor that is so close to my parents house that it just makes me want to see the doctor more often. I found Dr. Thomas online from yelp and I am glad I got to see him. Just call and make an appointment with the front desk and in no time you can get your adjustment. If you haven't heard or done a treatment before it's not as scary as what people believe. It does sound painful but really it makes your back feel amazing. If you have any neck pain you can also let the doctor know so he can adjust you back to normal! La Mirada is such a beautiful city filled with amazing and caring doctors plus you can always enjoy a nice walk at the park afterwards. My husband referred me to Dr. Thomas because I was looking for a chiropractor closer to home and he had a good experience with him for his back adjustment. So I scheduled an appointment for an hour of massage therapy and an adjustment with Dr. Thomas right afterwards. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't as great. When I first arrived, Lindsay, the front desk person greeted me without a mask (which left me feeling very anxious and uncomfortable during these times). I decided not to say anything because I figured the massage therapist, whom I would be in closer contact with, would be wearing one. Well, come to find out, Lindsay was the one who would be doing my massage and did not put on her mask until after my massage was done. According to their website, she is not listed as one of their massage therapists, so I'm not even sure if she is licensed- because she is also the front desk person. My massage was just okay. I made a point to tell her about my migraines and asked her to focus on those trigger points- which she did not do. I still left with MANY knots in my neck and upper back- which I told her to only focus on those areas. She did my arms and legs as well, which took time away from my areas of need. I honestly left the massage with more anxiety and stress over the entire mask situation though. Dr. Thomas was very nice and explained his procedure very thoroughly. He adjusted my neck and back and addressed my areas of need. However, I didn't feel that immediate relief I normally felt with my previous chiropractor, and my head actually hurts worse now than it did before. After he adjusted me, he told me to come back in two days and he didn't know how long it would take to be able to "fix." Which honestly just felt like he was trying to get me to come back and spend more money. Also, while I was getting adjusted, I could hear over the loud speaker in the office that he needed to be seen in two different rooms, so it just seemed like he was rushing to get to those other patients. My husband and I both go to Dr. T for adjustments. Dr. T also helped me when I tweaked something picking up a piece of paper off of the ground (gotta love getting older), and after I felt something weird happen in my lower back during burpees at the gym. I was happy to be able to get in to see Dr. T quickly after each incident. He quickly got me back to normal, and made me feel safe that I wouldn't further injure myself. So, my chiro is not open on the weekends. I went here when my numbing tingling sensation in my arm was too much to handle. The staff was very nice, but I could hear their personal conversations a little too loud. They give Intro to chiropractor material to read while you wait for the doctor. After your done thumbing through the pamphlets, the doctor shows up 15 minutes later. We discussed my needs, and why I was there. He then had me transfer my personal belongings to a plastic cup which I had to hold onto the entire time I was at the visit. Je said oh I am going to have you try this stretchy rack machine. Iy was a table that rolled up my back for about 20 minutes. The assistant came in and let me know the doctor recommended you try a massage before your adjustment. I declined since it was an additional cost. Finally, I received my adjustment, and the doctor was disappointed I didn't want the additional offers he tried to sell me. Yes, they will give you a chiropractic adjustment, but they will also try to sell you everything else you don't need. It was just okay in my opinion. read more

I don't normally write reviews unless I absolutely love a business and really want to do my part to support them. This office is amazing. I was able to get my appointment right away and Dr. Thomas and his staff are amazing. Upon my first visit, he sat with me and listened to all of the concerns and problems and he came up with a plan. I have complex migraines and a messed up back so I'm in pain daily. When he did his adjustments on me, I swear I went almost a whole 24 hours without taking Advil which never would have been possible before. I do feel better after being treated by him after only 3 visits, but I know it will take time before I feel 100%. I had good expectations based on the reviews but Dr. Thomas exceeded them. I gave this place 5 stars for a lot of reasons : I used to go to the same Physiotherapist since i was a kid and i had the same problem with my neck and right shoulders over and over again. Every time he used to fix the problem at the moment but later the same thing happens again and it's painful. This time i wasn't feeling good about going to a new Dr. but after reading the reviews i decided to give it a shot and i did. Honestly i was amazed, first it's a clean spot, easy to find and a lot of parking spots. I walked in and i was gently welcomed by Lindsey at the front desk. She explained to me how things work and told me that Dr. Thomas will detail everything i need to know. It wasn't more than 2 minutes till they called me into a room and i met him. He really gave me a lot of the details i didn't know about my body and he diagnosed my problem within few minutes, then he explained how we can get rid of the problem permanently which made sense. After making sure that i don't have any other questions for him, he started working while explaining every step he's taking which i really liked. When he finished 85% of the pain and tension in my muscles went away and he explained how we can get rid of the 15% left. As i was leaving i was charged the exact amount we spoke about before and i had a little chat with Lindsey who was really nice! Thumbs up for this place !
