Dr Middleton and his spinal decompression machine changed my life. When I first walked into Dr Middleton's office I had a massive herniated disc at my L4-L5 and needed back surgery. I could not walk or sit in a chair. I had numbness running down my entire right leg and all the way into the feet. I had excruciating nerve pain. I couldn't not function without pain killers and muscle relaxers. This all quickly changed once I started the spinal decompression therapy. Within a month I had stopped needing to take daily medication and I had started to gain my mobility back. My family would tell you just how remarkable it was to see my improvement over 4 months. I am a 56 year old man who has been to numerous medical practitioners to include eastern integrative medicinal approaches and I have found Dr. Middleton's practice to be the perfect blend of east meets west and high touch blended with state of the art technology. Especially his spine decompression machine. As a 30 year law enforcement professional who has played contact sports my entire life I have a lot of aches and pains and chronic arthritis that he has been able to reduce the inflammation, calm and return most of my range of motion to the impacted joints. He has on three occasions adjusted me for three rib heads that needed to be popped back into place alleviating some very acute and excruciating pain. My husband suffered from severe symptoms of lower back pain. We've tried everything and went from one chiropractor to another, we even tried acupuncture but nothing helped. We started to guess what the pain can possibly be due to his MRI appointment being weeks after. This place is awesome. I have been coming here for years. I have very athletic kids and with any issues I come here. Unfortunately they do not take our Insurance so I pay out of pocket but it's worth every penny. Melissa at the front desk is the sweetest person ever she make you feel sooooo welcome and like you have known her forever. If you have a issue concern or anything she helps you no problem at all and if she is not sure on an answer she will definitely found out and get back to you ASAP. Eight months ago, I was in a tremendous amount of cervical pain that was getting worse by the minute. Melissa, the office manager, assured me that even on short notice, Dr. Middleton would see me (I was a new patient) and assess the situation. Dr. Middleton took me through the most extensive line of questioning I had ever been through with a chiropractor. He really took the time to understand the nature of my injury and lifestyle (I'm an industrial athlete, daily intense exerciser, yoga enthusiast). After an MRI, we decided that spinal decompression was the best course of action. Initially, I couldn't raise my left arm above my hip because inflammation of cervical nerve routes wouldn't let the nerves and muscles communicate. It took time, but decompression along with the work Dr. Middleton gave me to do at home-ice/heat schedule, new sleeping position, stretches and eventually strengthening exercises, have given me nearly full use of my arm again. Two different orthapedic surgeons said surgery was the only answer. Cutting is final though and the body wants to heal itself. Dr. Middleton definitely kept me out of the operating room.
