Dr. Harrod is a very good chiropractor, very experienced. I hurt my shoulder. I had 3 months treatment under physical therapy, and 3 months treatment under accupuncture. None of these helped. Then I went to see Dr. Harrod. She released my pain in my second session using her hand on techniques plus some heating therapy. She released my 8, 9 months shoulder pain! Chiropractors scare me. They have the capability of snapping people's necks and not kill them. When I had a muscle cramp in my neck and I knew I had to go to the chiropractor, I was tempted to take out a bigger life insurance policy. Luckily for me, Dr. Harrod did a through, consistent job and I am still alive! As a first time visitor, Dr. Harrod gave me a through examination of my back and neck and explained everything she was doing. I had had a muscle spasm in my neck, preventing me from moving my neck in any direction. She had her assistant hook me up to a small machine that sent electricity through some electrodes placed on my neck. Had never been to a chiropractor before, but I pulled something in my back and decided to take the plunge. I got a next-day appointment (!) and it was very helpful. The dr. and staff explained everything carefully beforehand, and I wound up with a strain/sprain diagnosis, followed by an mild electrode therapy (they induce a mild muscle-twitch in your back to help 'break' the muscle spasm), and what I understand is a fairly standard chiropractic "adjustment" (lower back and neck). Dr. suggested a very limited number of follow-up visits (could easily have suggested longer-term treatment if they were just after the $$, so this was a good sign!). read more

She'll fix you right up! I know people come in on the regular which is smart and I'm sure has people feeling real good. I'm the person who comes in when I'm in pain and I walk out feeling like I'm on clouds after my adjustment. The Dr. is sweet and gentle but she gets you to crack on the first time and then they put those shocker things on your back with a hot blanket. There is nothing more relaxing.
