Dr. Raymond Hong knows what he is doing! I came in with numbness in my left arm and both of my legs from the knees down. I had been to ER the week before and all tests came back normal but my symptoms persisted. After ONE session I regained sensation in both of my legs and in my left arm a day later. I will be coming back for four more sessions. The impact acupuncture had on my body was unbelievable. I cannot explain it but it absolutely helped me. It is inexpensive and the results I felt were immediate. The office is clean and most importantly, Dr. Hong is extremely knowledgeable. I loved my first experience here and would recommend to anyone thinking about trying it. read more

Natuever Acupuncture - Fascinating herb wall inside office. October 1, 2023 - Acupuncture Near Me - Pico Rivera, California

I had sciatic pain radiating from my left lower back to my inner thigh With burning and numbing sensation. Pain was 10/10. I had to go to the ER because I couldn't walk. When I left the ER I still had pain and they gave me steroid medication and pain medicine. Nothing would help and a week after I decided to try acupuncture. After the first session, I was able to walk. I have had four sessions and I can walk without my walker and my pain is like a 2/10 the most . I still will continue going for this and other treatments but I noticed a great change with the Doctors help. I am so grateful. read more

I came for my hashimoto thyroid.. after having my daughter it really threw my hormones out of order. I wanted to try something natural before having to take hormone medicine. Thank God I found this place! I am on my third week of acupuncture & ended my first week with the Chinese herbal tea he made me. I am speechless by the instant results I got after my first session. I had knots in my stomach, extremely irritable, wasn't sleeping throughout the night, sweaty feet, low energy, couldn't lose weight.. immediately he was able to take the stomach pressure I had & anxiety. The Chinese herbal teas are specialized based off of my tongue, pretty sure I had a leaky gut/ parasites in my stomach that he helped me clear. I have never felt better & even lost 4 pounds my first week on the teas. My anxiety is gone, I am sleeping better, going to the restroom is painless, I am more calm not on edge, my feet aren't sweaty 24/7, my list goes on. I really feel like myself again. Hashimoto is curable with the right dr like this one! I can't wait to see how I am after my first month on the herbal teas. read more

Dr. Raymond is super friendly and making an appointment was a breeze. I was referred here because I have a breech baby at 37 weeks and we are trying to get her turned head down. The price is very reasonable for a moxibustion ($40), and the first time the baby only moved a little bit, so we tried again a week later, but still no luck. We did an ECV a few days after and it turns out that the baby is wrapped in cords, and so that's why she did not want to turn. The first part was a bit uncomfortable though as Dr. Raymond burns ashes close to the pinky toe (and it gets really burning hot), but he was really gentle about it. Dr. Raymond was very attentive during the procedures and even showed me pictures of his family. Even though it didn't work, it was a good attempt, and I was able to relax a little during the moxibustion. read more

Now my husband is coming in for treatment and he noticed the difference right away!!! For month now I have been struggling with heart palpitations and sleeping issues. Had blood work done and everything came out normal, other then thyroid cyst but not the cause of palpitations. Dr said it was anxiety though I have never had anxiety before. Let me tell you a little about myself: I have suffered from lower back pain for about 10+ years. I also took a fall 2 years ago causing a herniated disc which made my lower back problems even worse. On a daily basis, I had numbing and tingling on my left leg, I had a stiff back with painful movements. I did physical therapy after I had my fall. I did steroid injections on my back. I had just about every pain medication out there. I was always miserable. On a good day, my pain level was at a 5. On a bad day, I couldn't move, my pain level at a 10. Back in March, I happened to wake up with intolerable pain but I had already made plans to go out with my husband and his family for his birthday, so I took my pain meds hoping it would help. By the afternoon, I was still in excruciating pain. Having had no pain relief from the morning dose, I took a second dose of my pain meds. Still no relief. I yelped to find a chiropractor opened on the weekend that didn't require an appointment. The only thing I found was acupuncture and decided to give it try if it meant my pain would go away. Luckily, I found this place, called to make sure I could walk-in and get treated. I came in, filled out a few forms and met with the doctor. He places a few needles to see if I had any relief and I swear within minutes I had so much relief. My pain was almost nonexistent! I went from not being able to tolerate standing or sitting to being able to move around like I hadn't in years! He only used about 8 needles in total. It didn't hurt. I was expecting to feel the stabbing needle or a stab but honestly I didn't feel anything. The place is quiet and relaxing. There was a promotion for 5 sessions, so I bought that. I stopped using my arsenal of pain meds. After the last session, I felt like a completely new person. Not only did I have instant pain relief when my back was at its worst, I was able to get better pain control without using so much medicine. If you're experiencing pain, I truly recommend trying this place out!!!! read more

Acupuncture has been an answered prayer for me. I have trigeminal neuralgia and was referred here for pain management. I was not previously a big believer in anything other than western medicine, but it had been failing me so I took a chance. 3 sessions later, I am relatively pain free. I have felt better since starting therapy here than the entire year before it. I've weaned off of harsh medicines and exclusively manage my nerve pain symptoms with acupuncture. Even as a walk-in, I've never waited longer than ten minutes. The atmosphere is clean, private, and safe. I appreciate the time each session takes and am so happy to have hope that this might one day be curative for me. read more

Amazing!!! I had a breeched pregnancy and with all my research I decided to try acupuncture with moxie. I knew I was a lil late in my pregnancy, but I still wanted to try everything to flip this baby around. I must say that the services were amazing. The Dr. was really helpful and very knowledgeable. He did seem a bit disappointed that baby wouldn't flip but we know it wasn't because of him. My fault for not going in sooner in my pregnancy. Thank you! read more

Dr.Hong really knows what he's doing. I started going in July for lower back pain. My pain level was an 8. I couldn't walk straight or stand for more than 10 minutes. Getting in and out of my car was painful. It was like magic! After only the first session I came out walking straight. I couldn't believe it! I've been going once a week for about 2 months. After I found out my baby was breech at 34 weeks, I contacted Dr. Raymond through his website to see if I could come to him for moxibustion. I had read that it was effective, and he replied promptly to my email. I called and made an appointment. There are a few ways to do moxibustion, and I was thankful that Dr. Raymond was very attentive, asked me questions about my pregnancy, and was happy to help me. He performed the "indirect method," which is non-scarring and does not hurt. After moxibustion, he had me lie down on my side, did a inserted a few acupuncture needles (maybe 3-4 needles in my foot/ankle area, one on my wrist, and 2-3 on my forehead). It was actually very relaxing, and within a few minutes, my baby was moving like crazy!!! I had an ultrasound 3 days later and found out that my baby was now head down. I'm very pleased with my experience here and highly recommend Dr. Raymond. read more
