Ok so I have only been there once, yesterday and I must say that as of this morning, I feel I MILLION TIMES BETTER!!!! .First of all, I went 3 days before while waiting for my food next door, and I've ALWAYS seen this place, and wanted to try it (chronic back pain, bursitis , Smorls nodes , muscle spasms, major fatigue , always tired) but even more so this week, so I decided to go in and get information. To my surprise they take my insurance, ALREADY A WIN, and the staff was amazing and Dr. Wendy scheduled me for the following day. WIN WIN! So flash forward a day after appointment? Driver's Leg/behind the knee pain: For 2 months, I had pain in the leg. After waking up, and crawling around- I had to try accupuncture! I never did this before (only acupressure- in former Japanese Shiatsu, on Firestone Bl, in Downey,Ca). I looked on the Internet, and found this place. The price, appointment & location were reasonable. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment. I filled out the patient questionnaire (about 10-15min), paid $50 cash, and had free water available in the waiting room/front lobby. The room is a pleasant sky blue color, with a clean floor, natural plants (Chinese money tree) and an energy efficient water cooler. I went in, spoke to a" Wendy" ( which really was the Dr, Wenlin), and came out of my session satisfied. Diagnosis: There was pain, in my right heel, and tendons- which caused the tight pain.The Dr. explained the process would take 45 minutes, and provided good info to me. I had to undress (remove sweat pants & socks/shoes), leaving my underwear & top on. I had to lay on my stomach on the table. This individual room is about the size of a small bedroom, clean, with a massage table, white chair & small cabinet with needles, cotton, supplies. The door is an accordian folding door. The needles pricked intensely on the heel, but everywhere else, was fine (about 5-10 min, done by the Dr). Then there was this machine that was going to be applied on my leg. The heat current was a little scary, but, I found myself relaxed to the ultra red heat/sound of that machine( about 15-20 min)- this was done by an assistant (named Erica, bilingual assistant)- Note, this was sort of the machine connecting the dots (needles). After a few minutes, Erica, left the room so that the machine goes in a circular motion on the affected area. This was soothing after awhile, like a good stretch- hurting, but felt good. The final (10-15 min) was done by a massage therapist (limited English speaking masseuse). I rested on the table for about 5 min, and was able to walk. The advice from the doctor?! Absolutely the best!!! Thank you Green Nova for doing what others could not. I had 3 bulging disc pressing on my sciatic nerve, for 4 months I was using a cane and could barley walk, pain all day everyday, in every position. My primary doctor told me I only had two options, epidural steroid injection or back surgery. I was disappointed that my only options were hard prescription pills with side effects and surgery so I declined both and found a alternative method. I found Green Nova and my life began to change. After 3 weeks of acupuncture I was able to walk better and the pain was less. Fast forward to now and I'm am pain free and can run on a treadmill and hike. Dr. Ren is the best acupuncturist. She is very knowledgeable, professional. She helped me with my chronic back pain. I had been taking all kinda pain killers but nothing helps. If I don't take the pills the pain comes back worse. I was referred by a good friend of mine. She told me to try acupuncture so I decided to give a shot. I was getting treatment once a week for couple months I have less pain the more I get treatments. So right now I don't even take any pain killers I still go there once awhile to maintain my body. They provide massage after the mussel stimulator treatment I love the heating lamp that helps my mussel relax. I can not thank Dr. Ren enough to help me to relief my pain. I have visited this clinic since the year of 2005. I have the pain on the shoulder and back due to the long hours work in front of computer. Dr. Ren is a considerable experience Acupuncturist with a medical background in Cardiology in China. She is very professional and treats you with care. She is also knowledgeable and gives you lots of tips as to what can help in your everyday routine. I also bothered by the allergen in spring and fall, with Dr. Ren's care, I have not taken medicine for many years. I would highly recommend this clinic, it is worth a try. read more

If you are suffering with sinuses, headaches or low back pain, and haven't been helped in regular medical or chiropractic treatment then consider acupuncture. I too was scared of "needles" but the needles are so very thin about the diameter of a hair and the sessions are very comfortable and relaxed, then her assistant will give you a short massage which is just wonderful and relaxing. One thing to really consider when choosing an acupuncturist is where did they recieve their training from? There's only one place in the world for training for acupuncture and that's in China everywhere else is a second best. Dr Ren is from China and her clinic is very busy just like a good Chinese restaurant on New Years Eve at a quarter to midnight. I've referred a number of my friends and work mates to this office for help where they have had prior acupuncture care but only really got the results they were hoping for after seeing Dr Ren.
